One thing they have in their favor is how much most of them love playing for Rex Ryan. I wouldn't be surprised if all of them were back.
Harris, Cromartie, Holmes will all be back, I'd say on that list they need LT, Ellis, and Taylor the least. Edwards and Smith will depend on how much money they want.
Cromartie is going to ask for stupid money. They just drafted Kyle Wilson. He's gone.
Shaun Ellis will be asked to take a pay cut. He will not. He's gone.
Jason Taylor. Most likely retires. He's gone.
Ladanian. Not sure exactly how much is invested in him, but I don't think it's much. Dude wants a ring, bad. He will return.
David Harris. No way they let him go. He will return.
Santonio Edwards. I combined them into one name. He will return.
Brad Smith. Look for a contract demand similar, if not identical to Cribbs. Dude is a playmaker for them, but Jets will find it hard to pay him that much. He's gone.
So there you go, that's who I think will get the loot, and who will get the boot.

With all the instant starter DTs coming out this years draft, it would be foolish for the Jets to give Ellis, 33 years old, big time money.

I actually think taylor might come back. it seem like he enjoyed it there so it wouldnt surprise me if he gave it one more shot.
LT i agree, def wants to stay, but not sure if the jets r gonna want to keep him, he got worn down at the end of the year and had no business carring the ball last week vs the steelers while shone greene was truck sticking ppl
i think cromartie and harris are their biggest 2 along with santonio. those 2 are the hardest to replace. kyle wilson isnt ready to be a #2 CB and cromartie and revis played real well together. they gave up a second round pick for cro just a year ago. im sure he will ask for a lot of money but i think the Jets are willing to pay him more than you guys believe. I def think hes pulls rank over braylon so harris, cromartie and tone are the big 3 they want to resign. might need to use the franchise tag on tone if they have one. i guess they could sign edwards instead of cro but i would really be surprised
otherwise i agree. Its most definate that brad smith is gone and ellis takes a pay cut or hes gone. Hard to know what taylors gonna do because it pretty much comes down to a personal decision for him. dont see any reason to drop LTs contract unless they have to do so to sign one of the big 3 or dont think hes worth the 2 mill bonus.
im not a big braylon fan but he took a pay cut after a few bad years with the browns to play with the jets and he played himself right back into a nice contract with another team.
If they drop LT they might sign ricky williams, he really wants to play there
