1. melo and john wall would not be unstopable alone. that team is horrible
2. as for jerseys hmmm, blake griffen is the hot one right now, along with rose.
as for not normal ppl, u could go with someone like ray allen or rondo (most ppl got garnet or pierce) josh smith is pretty cool with the hawks but hes not quite on the top guy level. kevin love is awsome but hes on the twolves. monta ellis or steph curry on the warriors they got sweet jerseys. i like chris paul so hes up there for me, and every1 is the "norms"
i also just bought bill simmons "book of basketball" since i read so much. i figure the plan ride to vegas and back n can knock off a good portion of it. until i realized that 1. his book is almost 800 pages and 2. i will most likely be drunk both on the way there and back so idk what i am going to do with this thing
As of the moment I own an old school Ewing and an Amare.
Id love to own a Sir Charles Barkley purple Suns Jersey. Spudd Webb hawks would be pretty sick too. Also wouldnt mind a CP3. And of course i'd love me a Walt Clyde Fraizer
Dwyane Wade Accused of Holding Sex Parties, Smoking Pot
A former business partner of Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade is telling NBALive that he saw remnants of sex parties at a Miami Beach apartment used by the married Wade and his entourage.
What’s more, says Euro blue-blood Baron Richard Von Houtman, he witnessed on two occasions Wade puffing away on marijuana cigarettes, once with a teammate
“It was a four-bedroom place on the first floor of a high-rise,” said Von Houtman, who through 2007 met with Wade and/or Andrews almost daily. “One day, I got a call from my cleaning crew at the apartment. I went down there and what I saw was disgusting. The apartment was trashed, filthy, and it wasn’t the first time.”
Von Houtman described used condoms on the floor of the bedrooms, obvious signs of sexual activities on all the beds, empty champagne and hard-liquor bottles, nearly-finished blunts and half-eaten food rotting on tables and furniture.
“They’d have these parties in there two or three times a week,” Von Houtman said. “There were always dozens of people in there. Rappers, Dwyane and his entourage, women they’d pick up in clubs.”
Even though commodities trader Von Houtman was never invited, he said he was told several times Wade attended most of the wild shindigs. At times, Dwyane came with galpal and C-list dwelling actress Gabrielle Union.
“They (Wade and Andrews) both made it clear to me how their goal in life is to have sex with as many women as possible,” Von Houtman said.
Von Houtman, 62, has the face of a drill sergeant and body of a diminutive Arnold Schwarzenegger. His parents were heirs to a Dutch food fortune.
This would explain why his wife his soon-to-be-ex wife, Siohvaughn, recently claimed in a motion made in their divorce case in their native Chicago that her hubby of eight years gave her an undisclosed STD caught outside the marriage. She also said Wade, who was known as one of the most religious Heat players, abandoned her and their two sons.
yea it def sounds like the life. I also read an article that women are booking trips to LA to be with these guys over all star weekend. Apparently they party pretty hard and like a wide selection of groupies
this doesnt surprise me at all. and ya groupies all the time do stuff like come down to LA and try to get with one of the all stars. ive heard stories that guys will be on road trips to different citys and they have a girl there theyve known and banged for years like its his gf for that city almost. u ever heard of that show basketball wives on vh1? im sure its all groupies who break up with there nba guy once the money stopped coming
my point on the radio wasnt that i didnt belive the story, i just dont believe much of talk radio unless it comes from a credible source. a lot of talk radio is just throwing out rumors to get ppl to call in and talk about the story. not all of it is fake and a lot of it depends on the radio station, like im not saying espn radio is all fake, but some of the local radio stations just dont care. even so, a lot of times there is some truth to the story, but there not held to the same standard as real journalist who actually report stories.
derron williams to the nets?? wow. what a move. east is loading up! its crazy the nets might have gotten the best pg in the league and most likley still wont make the playoffs haha
so who got the better end of the deal? Knicks or Nets? Knicks gave up a lot for carmelo and D Williams is a hell of a player... I guess the Knicks will have to settle for Chris Paul
knicks got the better of the deal for sure. for 1 they gave up role players as oppose to the nets who gave up there #3 overall pick just a few months ago, but the big thing is melo signed his extension so they got him for this year and 3 more years, williams hasnt so he might still leave after next year. but both got great players so its hard to argue aganist either one of them making the move
LeBrick was outplayed by both Derrick Rose (MVP! MVP! MVP!) and Melo in 4 days. Hes a beast but when will they start letting Wade take the game winnings shots? In fact LeBron is 17/50 on game winning shots (the final points scored with 24 seconds or less) for an amazing average of 34%. The last time i remember LeBrick hitting one was vs the magic in the playoffs 2 years ago...
Im not hating cause LeBrons a beast and he can fly like no one else, but hes not a consistant 3 point shooter
so the Wizards bought out Mike Bibbys contract... hes gonna sign with the Heat
someone please tell the Wiz owner that if you put together a wining team you will make more money than just cutting all the high salary players and selling tickets for $10 each
been an extremely busy day but your boy has made some serious cash today so vegas is looking good!
-for the nba talk, last nights game was very good. i was shocked how many knicks fans there were at a big game like that. sucks that such big stars like wade and james play in a ****ty sports city like miami where they dont even get to the games til midway through the 1st. for some reason miami has trouble with close game and i dont think any1 really knows why. its still the regular season so i wouldnt be acting like this victories are heart breakers by any means. playoffs are a different animal, every game is huge and every possestion means something. good luck trying to go basket for basket with big time scorers like wade and james in the playoffs and win 4 out of 7 times vs them. i was leaning towards the celtics to make it, but after the perkins trade im going with the heat
-great game by the knicks last night, but there not gonna do much this year, a round 1 win is probably the best they are going to do mainly cuz it takes a little bit of time b4 the players get use to playing with each other and its too late in the year to do it vs the celtics, bulls or heat in a 7 game series. next year watch out for them.
-wiz are very smart actually. bibby is not gonna win you any games and he took a complete buyout which was completly unexpected so the wiz saved a ton of money. now they need to draft better and stop signing idiots like blache and magee who are put up numbers but will never be winners.
-if bibby goes to miami thats a huge move. although he is nowhere near the player he was with the kings, he is a playoff proven pg and he will be the 4th or 5th option on a team like the heat is just what they need. very big pickup if he goes there

I realized last night that we get NBA TV which plays 2 games a night! unfortunatly tonights games are the celtics vs suns and clippers vs rockets but there are some good games coming up soon.
I was forced into watching last nights Jersey Shore, dude that show is so bad. I literally felt like i watched 8 episodes. That was the SLOWEST piece of sh!t on television. I JUST DON'T GET IT

i dont mean to toot my own horn but why is wade throwing in the inbounds pass so that Bosh can pull up the 3? LeBrick had to take his shot since time was running out but why isnt their coach drawing up plays to let the best shooter take the shot? This isnt the first or second or third time either...
a lot of times the inbound passer gets the ball back and is normally open because the defender forgets about it. y bosh pulled up from 3 so early in the shot clock? i have no idea
as for JS, it has been a little difficult this year. between the ronnie and sam bs and now snookie and vinny its been slow. paulie has been great, but its tough now compared to season 1 cuz there pretty much major celebrities in jersey shore so they cant do the same things they did in season 1
1. Lakers (45-19) - Spurs have the leagues best record but the Lakers put a spanking on them yesterday going up by over 20 before winning by 8. Kobe is the best player in the West now that most of the big names have crossed over. BTW, the Lakers havent lost a single game since the All Star break.
2. Spurs (51-12) - Spurs have the best record in the NBA and the all-world-superstar Gary Neal. They will certainly be in the running come playoff time.
3. Mavs (45-17) - For all the big names in the East, the top-3 teams come from the West. The Mavs have won 18 of their last 20 and Dirk is playing lights out.
4. Celtics (46-15) - Celts are still going strong after their string of questionable trade prior to the trade deadline. Time will tell how much they miss Perkins, but hey, they can always look forward to Shaq returning right?
5. Bulls (43-18) - Bulls have come on strong with wins against the Spurs, Hornets, Bucks, Magic and twice vs the Heat (now 3-0 on the season) over the past month. Noahs return was huge and they are playing their best ball of the season. Derrick Rose for MVP!!
6. Magic (40-23) - Other than strong post play from Dwight Howard the Magic live and die by the 3 ball. Jameer Nelson, Gilbert Arenas, JJ Reddick and Jason and Quinton Richardson are great shooters, but you have to be able to do more in the playoffs. This team goes as far as Dwight Howard decides that they do.
7. Heat (43-20) - My, my, my. Word is the Heat players were crying in the locker room after their 1 point loss the the Bulls yesterday, and they have good reason to be. 2-5 since the All Star break and 0-9 vs the Spurs, Mavs, Celtics and Bulls. 5-13 in games decided by five points or less and 14-18 vs teams with winning records. A 20 point loss to the Spurs, two losses to the Bulls and a blown 24-point lead to the Magic in the past 2 weeks. The Heat have a hard time vs. tough teams and in close games. LeBrick is still shooting with less than 3 seconds left and the Heat are still losing. How long before Pat Riley names himself the head coach?
8. Thunder (39-22) - Get Perkins on the floor and this team will be scary.
9. Knicks (32-29) - The Knicks record is misleading for obvious reasons but they are on the winning side since Melo joined the team. I dont think anyone expected Chauncy Billups to be such a huge steal in the trade. This will be a scary playoff team.
10. Hawks/Blazers/Hornets/76ers - There are several teams jockeying for the 10th spot. Well have to see how this one plays out.
very very impressed by the list and comments. to be honest a month or 2 ago i didnt even think u could name more than 2 players on most of these teams but this was very good.
i think the celtics should be higher than 4, but losing perkins def hurts so i understand the 4 spot ranking. i would have them at 2.
also heat r def struggling and its hard to deny that, but once playoff time comes i think its gonna be a very different team. call me crazy but im still going with them in the east, its gonna b very tough to beat them 4 out of 7 times in a 2 week period. i no theyve lost some close onces recently, but playoffs is a much different animal
Well somebody is in agreement with me. Maybe youve heard of him. A little guy by the name of Air Jordan?
“MVP of the season,” Jordan said about Rose after the Bulls’ 101-84 win over his Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday night. “He deserves it. He’s playing that well. He deserves it. Without a doubt. And if he doesn’t get it, now he’ll see how I felt a lot of years.”
