So we were under the impression that the Baltimore Indy Car race was scheduled for Memorial Day weekend meaning our annual (since last year) Memorial Day trip to OC would have to be postponed.
I just got the official word that the race is in fact on LABOR day weekend, which is in August. Meaning, the Memorial day trip is BACK ON!!!!
Im gonna look into booking a few rooms at the marriott which is right on the boardwalk a couple street up from wherer we stayed last year. Rooms will be cheap, Im not sure I can get em for free on a holiday weekend, but the location is perfect.
We can go Friday night - Monday morning like last year so no one has to take off work. A bunch of ppl from moco, like Mitch the Avatar and Paul have already booked their places so we should look into it soon. The dates would be May 27-30.
ya motz told me same thing today that the indy race is on labor day and my exact response was "looks like we are going back to oc!" haha. he also said nickerson will be back so i am def all in

Fish as I recall you riled me up the last night and when I went off you started playing mr. soft. Anyway that **** was wack and HOMIE don play that I'm str8 up bringing baseball bat cause any bammas i dont know or like is trespassing and that gives me the right to bash sum skulls in.

Dewey sucks its away from the action and would require us spending money on cabs every night. Fish must I remind you of the famous "Moe must go chant" this occurred on the legendary OC Drunk Bus.
ya i agree with erm, id rather stay in OC. im sure dewey is cool if we got like 15-20ppl into one house but id rather do what we did last year n get like 2-3 rooms for us. theres no late night beach trips, no drunk bus, and as erm said we would have to pay more and worry about cabs every time. ive only been to seacrets and that 1 place we watched the ufc fights at so i wanna actually go to a few more places this year in OC.

haha yes i agree the weather is nice im ready to grill on our deck. ur skipping spring tho, summer isnt for another 3-4 months man haha. regardless, summertime also reminds me of:
-pool -getting my tan on -drinking all day saturdays -orange crushes at the tiki barge -going to pickles instead of the o's games -kearns eating more to get more mass in order to tan -dieing in my car during my lunch nap -nick going home on the weekend...wait that happens no matter what season were in!
spring is just a transistion month for summer. dates dont matter now that were out of college so as long as its hot outside, it summer, and im happy. me and kearns are planning a BBQ on friday to kick off the summer since its going to be 60+. food and tanning, my 2 favorite pastimes!
sure. how do you think motz first day is going? i texted him an hour ago with no response. they either put him straight to work or hes sleeping on the job haha
i texted him at 9am when i woke up and said "man its rough getting up at this hour." he responded with a "lol **** you."
i have a feeling this week is gonna b rough for him adjusting to the new hours but he'll b fine eventuallt. he must of had to really hated his old job if hes willing to wake up this early and commute for over an hour each way for roughly the same pay
