2011 Official Mock Draft Challenge

Ok boys and Fish, the time has finally come to post our mock drafts to this delightful forum.

Here is how it is going to work. Everyone who is participating will email me their draft, and I will post them all simaltaneously so that there is no chance of changing picks once people see other peoples drafts.

Therefore, the submission is due no later than 11PM Wednesday night, and I will post them either that night or Thursday morning.

Just to be clear the rules are as follows:

1 pt. for every player in your draft selected in the first round

5 pt. for the correct position taken by a team and each given spot

20 pt. for the correct player taken at the correct spot

Like noted before, there is no way to reward trades, and I will not change rules for it. If you think there will be a trade, go right ahead, but you must get it right to get the points.

GOOD LUCK JACK WAGONS!

Well this should be fun, our drafts are very different than each others in terms of top 10, and which players.

why make rules if we arent gonna follow them and even worse bitch when someone does follow them? danny said 11pm wendsday night so u will have it by then. i havent even looked at any of urs yet, and i dont think copying some1's guess is going to lead me to victory. surprisngly enough i am at work right now and cant do it right now with my manager behind me so i have to wait til i get home which will not be until 8pm.

Well, leave it up to Fish to submit a rough copy of what looks like a prison inmates mock draft, but he has got it in boys. The game is set, and I will see you ****ers tommorow.

But also, now that I have everyones draft in, let me hit y'all with a little constructive criticism. And yes, I understand you will have plenty to say about mine as well. I wish I submitted my mock earlier, cause I have had Peterson to the Cards for a while now.

Fish

1. There is no way JJ Watt falls that far. Past the top 15 would be a shocker.
2. Da'quan Bowers unfortunetly does not go ABOVE the top 15, especially not before Aldon Smith, Kerrigan, and Jordan. All three go before him.
3. The Steelers have 3 QBs on their roster who have started and performed. If they take a QB I will give you a ZJ.

Nick

1. No way R. Quinn drops that far.
2. Adrian Claybourn is trash, he falls to the second.

Josh

1. If Patrick Peterson drops that far....please see what I said to Fish.
2. Jimmy Smith, too high. Ras-I Dowling, does not make the first. Brandon Harris is taken before him anyway.
3. Please see my first response to Fish, JJ Watt too low.
4. Akeem Ayers falls to second, switch his name with Brooks Reed and I like it.

WITH THAT SAID, I like everyones drafts, there is obvioulsy many picks we tend to agree on, while there are others we do not. There are several players I have in my draft that I do not see in anyone elses, I could look like a genius, or not.

NEW RULE

The losers of this friendly draft competition must copy and paste the following quote:

"Insert Winners Name", your knowledge of NFL talent is unmatched, far greater than my own, and you should be behind the desk for your favorite NFL team as GM."

"Gosselin thinks the quarterback frenzy will take place early in the round, rather than teams choosing to trade back into the first round. He predicts five quarterbacks off the board in the top 12 picks.

Blaine Gabbert falls to No. 7 to the 49ers in the mock, and then it really gets interesting. Gosselin has Jake Locker going No. 8 to the Titans, Christian Ponder being taken at No. 10 to Washington, and Andy Dalton going No. 12 to the Vikings."

Why do you want to change it, I think the Baldwin pick was really good. Whose mock draft did you see change your mind? Mine maybe?

Nick, I'll make a side bet with you that the Falcons WILL NOT take Rudolph, and will select a WR still, and you will loose 5 points for correctly guessing the position. Either Baldwin, who I still like as a sleeper to jump into number one, or Greg Little, WR, UNC. Want to take that bet?

i had them taking a wr up until half hour ago, which means i wouldnt be surprised in the least bit, so why would i now make a bet that they wont? if its not rudolph its def a WR but i think gonzalez is getting old and they already have a #1 WR plus a couple #2s who were injured last season

Ok, well I'm sure everyone by now knows that we all sucked the big one in terms of our mock drafts. It still wasn't as bad as Peter Kings! Fish, I thought this guy was supposed to know everything!

I'll add up the scores regardless and see who won.
