he was a dcoordinator at KState then was hired as one on the bucs before gruden was fired and he took over. he was the asistant dbacks coach in 04-05 when tomlin was THE dback coach, so being the assitant to tomlin hangs puts him in the tomlin coacing tree

literally every mock draft ive seen has the iggles taking luke kuechley.

just remember who said this!

Im hoping the Steelers draft a MLB with their #1 pick. Somewhere in the bottom 10, there will be a few MLBs that they have a chance to grab. There are 2 I want in particluar and they are extremely different:

1. Luke Kuechly BC - A beast of a white guy with great speed, size and character

2. Vontaze Burcifit ASU - A ****ing lunatic. Go watch some of his highlights and you will see why. He reminds me of Mean Joe Green, but meaner.

so those are my top-2 right now, at least my top position. Lets hear it gayboys. Convince me as to why the Eagles should spend another pick on CB and a glorified return man ala DJax or why Matt Moore is the furture in Miami.

noooo marty mornhinweg is the fav to go to the colts!  i love him as our OC, eagles have a had a top 5 offense almost every year since hes been with us.  if he goes my guess is the return of Chilly!

also, nick why is ur OC getting the boot?

They say he's jus considering retiring, not getting the boot. Tomlin indicated at his end of the season presser that he expects arians to be back.

dammit you beat me to it.

fans have been calling for bruce arians head for yearsr. hes was going to retire after last offseason but ben convinced him to come back. my guess is that this will be a mike martz type deal where he says hes stepping down but rooney is giving him the boot.

the sad part is kirby wilson who was burned in the fire was set to take over and now he cant since hes still in critical condition. i really have no idea who they will hire they dont switch coaches very often. my guess is some no-name stud who will come in and make them a top-3 offense. ha!

word is dan rooney is stepping down as ambassador of ireland and will return to the steelers. hes pissed they lost in the first round of the playoffs which is unacceptable so the boss is coming back to fix ****.

haha 1st round L's are unacceptable to stillers nation.  ya idk what the eagles r doing right now, they havent said a word since the end of the season other than andy reid is coming back.  juan is almost def gone i think there just waiting on spags to make up his mind on where he wants to go.  if he doesnt come to philly i really dont no, god i hope they dont hang on to juan cuz they had a good 4 game strech aganist ****ty qbs.

if marty leavs im sure childress will take over there, he was a decent offenseive coordinator when he was with us.

i would want raheem morris myself but its too late since he went to the skins. he was a great d-coodinator (under the Tomlin tree) and if the steelers had a vacany a Dcoord that would be my top chice.

it wouldnt happen even if it could thou cause keith butler is waiting to take over whenever dick lebeau croaks

haha being tomlins assistant makes him on his coaching tree haha.  i wanna see how tomlin does once dick lebea is gone and what kind of coach he really is.

his players seem to love him which is good n all but without hall of fame coordinators lets see what he does

well u said he was "a great d-coordinator" meanwhile his last season (this season) as "d-coordinator" the bucs had the worst defense in football.  i think theres a reason he went back to being a defense backs coach and not a coordinator, i was never high on this guy

i do worry, i see how the eagles defense went to the ****ter once jim johnson croaked (literally).  eagles had a top 10 defense every year under him n ever since he died the eagles d has struggled and the team hasnt been the same.  we are now in year 3 n might have our 3rd different coordinator since JJ and i think the same could be coming in steelers land esp with that old n slow d they got there hahah

like i said, keith butler has been under lebeau for 10 years. theres a reason the steelers blocked him from interviewing other coaching positions

We did se first hand what happened to the Packers when they lost Philbin due to unfortunate circumstances, high powered offense was SHUT DOWN.

hopefully ur right, i no thats what the eagles thought with sean mcdermint but he wasnt up for the challenge.  eagles also lost a lot of key leadership guys like dawkins n trotter due to age n never really replaced them so i think the key is the steelers need to replace there older guys who will step up when guys like aaron smith n farrior r done

steelers are about to get younger thou. they cutting the extra weight this offseason. hampton, aaron smith, hoke, farrior and foote and mcfadden are gone. cam heyward (22), ziggy hood (24) and steve mcclendon (23) are the future of the dline to go with keisel.

a LB core of woodley (26), timmons (25), stevenson sylvester (24) or vontaze burcifit (21) plus the concussion master looks good to me.

their starting defense was old last year but the pieces were in place.

also, rooney said the next priority is locking up mike wallace. get used to wallace/brown/eman corps for the next 5 years.

yea, i like where were at

Vonate is a stud, the only reason he isn't voted to the Pro Bowl every year is because Sean Smith is SOOOO bad that Vonate is forced to essentially cover the entire opposition.

But at the same time, it would be hard to pass up on a OL, when they will most likely have a young rookie QB playing or someone who needs protection. Same position as always with QBs then.....

well every mock has the eagles getting him cuz its there only obvious position of need and this guy is the highest rate LB.

danny, isnt vonte davis kind of a cancer?  didnt he get suspended for showing up hung over to practice and then trying to fight someone?  not a good leader for a young corner to learn from!

And the very next game back he had a pick and was ENGULFED by his team on the sideline. Don't speak on what you don't know.

i was reading through the first NFL Talk thread and was dying laughing at some of our posts. one of the best arguments we ever had was that NFL players dont go out and get wasted on their free time. i felt like this was an appropriate time to bring this up haha

WRONG FISH I'VE BEEN A BELIEVER SINCE THAT POST!

"DJax is gone after this season, I'll put money on it.

I garuntee the Giants make the playoffs this year, be it as NFC east champs, or wild card. You're just depressed about your team so you're laying it on to a fan of a division rival, if I were a cowboy fan you'd be saying the same thing. The Giants are already showing that they can hang with anyone in the division (barring Green Bay, cause **** man they're Green Bay 19-0 coming soon to a TV near you). We'll see how it all plays out in a few weeks, but with the level of injuries the Giants have already suffered, it's pretty amazing how well they've managed to play"

Glad I was wrong about Green Bay!!!

ok I laughed

Barry Jackson writes that it’s a two-man race between Packers offensive coordinator Joe Philbin and Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy, but it has a twist.

Dolphins secondary coach Todd Bowles is considered “a fallback option if Ross cannot decide between Philbin and McCoy.”

We’re going to try to ignore the above sentence for the sake of the sanity of Dolphins fans. If the team really chooses their third choice because it’s too hard to pick between the top two picks, they may as well give up now.

Dan- Joe Philbin, Mike McCoy or Todd Bowles??

“With Griffin and Luck and the way it’s shaping up at the top of the draft — could very likely go one and two like with Peyton and Ryan Leaf,” Irsay said. “It’s most likely one of those quarterbacks that you really feel is the best player in the draft, and where we’re at moving forward you can’t pass that up. I don’t think anyone would expect that.”

ohh **** its between griffin and luck at #1 and he makes a good comparison about manning and leaf

thats funny about the dolphins head coaching search, thats normally how i pick my girls at the bar so i feel what ross is going through.  i say the dolphins go back to spranao, **** he still has 1 more year left on his contract extension he signed last year!
