also, i have now completed both seasons of game of thrones and with the finals ending soon i am going to need a new show to watch. ive heard great things about boardwalk empire but only season 2 is on demand so i am not sure how i feel about skipping 1. josh, is it on netflix by any chance? nick, is it worth buying/stealing from ur dad next time i come over?

There's this great thing out there, it's called HBOGO.
Pretty much if you or your parents have subscribed to HBO channels you have access.
It it FANTASTIC every show and every episode is available to watch whenever you please (through either an XBOX or your laptop)

BREAKING BAD, the first three seasons are on netflix and the fourth should be coming soon. The new seasons starts sunday July 15.

ya my roommate has HBO GO so i might watch boardwalk season 1 that way and then on demand for season 2, good idea.
i actually have seen all epidodes of girls other than the last one so far, its actually pretty funny. a little weird and all the main characters are chicks obviously but i reccommend it. 2 of the girls on the show are hot as hell.
anyone watch newsroom? heard its pretty cool but idk if its just from the old media ppl i follow who use to work in newsrooms that relate to the show and now 20 something studs like ourselfs.
also, charile sheens new show is on tonight on FX. u no thats gonna be awesome
I dunno if you've ever seen an Aaron Sorkin show (West Wing, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Sportsnight) But if you have and you've enjoyed those you'll like newsroom.
Personally I loved it, it's fast paced, topical, and the dialogue is incredible.

Last week was episode one, this sunday is episode 2 so you got plenty of time.
This guy is a political talking head (think Bill O'Reilly type) for a major news network. He has a mini meltdown and is off the air for 3 weeks. Comes back and finds that most of his staff has left him. The day he comes back a certain ecological disaster happens and **** gets real.
just started watching boardwalk empire last night. 1 episode down n so far pretty good. im not quite hooked like i was GoT after 1 episode but it def has potential. i like how they have real ppl in this like al capone
finished season 1 of boardwalk empire. really liked it. thought it started off slow but other than that it was great. the boardwalk scenry is amazing, i feel like i know some of the spots on the boardwalk that r still there today even tho this took place 80 years ago. jimmy just broke into my top 5 fav tv characters along with omar, jack bauer, the barksdale crew and khol drago (need a GoT member in there). hope season 2 is just as good!
true, i did like him too, prolly shoulda been 1 and 1a. i might need to give my top 5 a little more thought. tyrion gets a lot more airtime also, but khol gets bonus points for us getting to see khaleesi more
so i finished season 2 of boardwalk empire (WARNING: SPOILERS). let me just say i am VERY disapointed. not in the show itself, i highly enoyed season 2. but in killing my boy Jimmy! wtf i was so pissed. every sign had them making a comeback together and then boom, ****ing nucky had to take him out. i was very upset last night.
so now that i have plowed through 2 seasons of GoT and 2 more of BE, what is the next HBO show for me to watch?
Netflix.... $7.99 access streaming through your xbox/ps3/computer/roku/bluray etc etc. It's worth every penny, the quantity of TV shows and Movies is absolutely outstanding. You'll fly through it in no time. Hell you even get a 30 day free trial. So if you don't like it you can cancel it.

i havent watched any of it but i hear great things. i know my boy jason whitlock says its no where near as good as the wire and is calling one of the characters the new jack bauer haha. i guess hes doing some unbelievable stunts
ya i agree on smith and les brown, those were my other 2 points i was gonna make. les brown is your typical hardworker who is just too small to make it...until the pats sign him and find some hybrid te/slot wr role for him and he will tear up the league. just kidding, he is way too small but at least he gave us the line "you are looking hot...AS USGE." tony k used it on pti it was great.
also, i forgot richie incognito hacked into the rookie TE's facebook which was funny because he knew his password was his jersey number, and the best thing he could come up with was "i s**t my pants" hahaha. u could tell he was all exicted for the TE to look at it like it was creative and a 12 year old didnt write it. he also insulted his gf and showed no remorse when he said it was actually his finace haha. incognito is the man

- ryan tannehill doesnt know the divisions!!!!!!?????? he barley he knew the confernces. i knew them when i was 8 and this is a professional football player, no, a FRANCHISE QB. i cant get over this, u have got to be f'ing kidding me! he even said the chiefs were in the nfc east. im dead serious, my mom could do better.
- remember the 1st scene in the 1st episode? glad they cut the rookie guard for a guy who ended up not being able to make it more than 2 weeks and first line was "just need a cig and a cold bath." good move phins.
- the move might not be popular but i can def see why they traded vonte davis. the guy seems like an idiot. on the field he almost tackled the wr for his pick which was one of the most obvious pass interferences i have ever seen, and off the field in his meeting with jeff ireland he acted like a 15 year old would. i dont think he blinked once, and the only 2 things he said were " i need to call my grandmom" and "who u trade me for?"
- i actually like joe philbin and think he is going to be a good coach, he just needs some players now. hopefully they can get a good GM to draft some guys for him because i think he can make it work. it def makes sense to trade someone like davis for a high pick, but u gotta hit on that pick for the trade to work. i also liked how the colts started off offering a 6th rounder for him haha. funny the way things work in the nfl trade negoations.
- richie incgonitio is the man. his only line was knocking over the falcons DE and going "what bitch." ever scene he is on i am ready for something awesome.
- i love the way hard knocks consistently finds ways to get lauren tannehill some facetime. what she is in the stands cheering? SHOW HER CHEER!
absolutely brilliant. was gonna text you about the guy they cut for steinbach. i cant stop laughing everytime les (whatever) is on the field. the dude gets absolutely dominated and ends every play on his back. i felt bad for him when he was cut but damn he had 0% chance of making that team.
sean smith is an absolute beast. i think hes part of the reason they got rid of vonte. i actually like vontae and think he can be great, but like you said hes dumb as a box of rocks. it was awesome watching the trade unfold. they soured on him real quick once the colts came calling. he went from a first round pick to a "contributor who would be on the field quite a bit this season" according to ireland. i could tell at that point he was gone. "i want a 6 they dont want to give up a 6th but theyre offering a conditional 6th" "well what are you thinking?" "im thinking lets pull the trigger" haha by vontae
i do like philbin but theres a difference between coaching up players and firing up players. yeah hes a good talker and might be able to teach his players, but is he really gonna be able to fire a team up on gameday like rex ryan or mike tomlin? pregame speaches are half the battle!
they actually have one of the better lines in the league. incognito, pouncey, obvi jake long and jonathan martin are all studs. very big reason i was so high on reggie bush in fantasy this year.
lauren tannehill is a ****in 10.

hell yes. I thought the league starteed a little earlier thou around the start of football. oh well both are solid and always sunny was in a my top-5 for a long time. seasons 3-6 were awesome, season 7 just ok, but theyre always good to watch. problem is theuy will be on at the same time as TNF now!
