My wish list (assuming all make it to FA)

In House Moves:

1)Fire Kevin Gilbride.

2)Resign Tuck on a 2 year team friendly deal.

3)Restructure/Pay Cut on Eli and Antrel Rolle to free up cap space

4)Cut David Baas and Kevin Boothe.

5)Either a very cheap 1 year prove it deal for Hakeem or let him walk.

6)Re-Sign Jon Beason to a longterm but cap friendly contract

7)Re-Sign Linval Joseph

Free Agents:

1)Sign Alex Mack (C, Celeveland)

2)Sign Jon Asomoah (G, KC)

3)See if you can get Ben Tate on a 1 year prove it deal for RB

4)Sign Brandon Pettigrew to a team friendly contract (great blocker, and can catch here and there, it's all Eli really needs)

Draft:

Round 1 Pick 12; Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson

Round 2 Pick 44; Cyril Richardson, G, Baylor

I'd be a very happy boy.

i dont think nicks or tate are looking for one year deals. cleveland would be crazy not to sign mack with all the cap space they got. a lot of "friendly" contracts in there.

ur lucky u pick before the steelers or watkins would be long gone ;)

here mine:

In house moves:

team personnel - NONE. Tomlin, Colbert, Lebeau and Haley (yes Todd Haley) are great right where they are. the offense was averagin 28 points a gave over the final 8.

cut Lamarr Woodley with a June 1 designation ($8 mill)

cut Levi Brown (6 Mill)

cut Larry Foote (3 mill)

resign Jason Worilds. if not, franchise his ass and resign him when woodleys june 1 money kicks in

resign Ziggy Hood if he agrees on a deal based on his underachiveing play and not his potential. if not The Beard at one year league minimum

extend Ben (free up cap space)

extend Heath (free up cap space)

extend troy to 2 years to spread out the 9 mm owed

ask Ike Taylor to take a paycut or walk. might have to bite the bullet thou and let him stay

let ryan clark leave without hesitation

Free Agents:

Honestly, other than some small names i dont think there will be many. maybe a CB if Ike leaves.

Draft:

first round wish list:
1. Sammy Watkins
2. HaHa Clinton Dix
3. Dennard from MSU
4. Louis Nix
5. Mike Evans

second round with list:
1. Kelvin Benjiman

steelers arent far from being good again. they ended the season 6-2 and some of their younger guys on D finally stepped up. cam heyward, cortez allen, jason worilds. leveon and AB are gonna be playmakers for years to come. offense line really came around the second half of the season so no need to spend high there. TE will need to be addressed eventually and a big WR would make their offense unstoppable. secondary is the BIGGEST area of concern by far.

all that said, im probably way off.

Josh you have wanted gilbride gone since college haha, but you might finally get your wish.  hope the next potential hire is what you are looking for cuz gilbride did help win you some super bowls.  anyway...

Team Needs:

Oh wait we're still playing!

Sorry had to do that, it's been too long since I enjoyed playoff football even if it lasts 1 week.  with that said, the nfc is lined up prefect for the eagles, home vs the saints then on the road vs panthers and avoid 2 out of 3 in the seattle, 49er, packer trio.  not saying they are going all the way (or even win round 1) but if you are in the 3 seed, this is the perfect scenario.

only 2 things i did not want was to play NO on the road or play san fran. Obviously playing NO on the road will not be possible and IF eagles are lucky enough to get to the championship game the 49ers are going to have to get past both Gb and seattle on the road, then at least eagles would get another home game vs them. not scared of seattle, even on the road.  unless harvin comes back they have no big time play makers and the eagles no huddle silent count would overcome their home field advantage.  as seen in week 16, carson palmer beat them even while throwing 4 picks.

Rarley are the playoffs about the best team winning (see ravens last year, giants year before), it is more about matchups, and who's the hottest team and healthiest.  Right now, eagles are all 3, esp healthy.  Only issue is their d might not be up to the task yet of shuting down a big time qb such as breese.  i wish we had an easier 6th seed like the afc has but no playoff game will be easy.  guess we will see what happens but i am very ready for it!

saturday is going to be an epic day with towson playing for the d1aa national championship at 2pm followed by the furst 2 playoff games of the year including eagles vs saints where philly is on a 2 game SNF win streak!  epic day coming, i will try to write a recap if i am able to remember any of the day

Team needs:

1. saftey.  nate allen is a FA and patrick chung was worse than him.  this is our #1 need and we have not recovered from the decision to trade up in the draft for what i thought was going to be earl thomas and instead was brandon graham.

2. edge pass rusher:  all good 3-4 teams have one of these. connor barwin is great but he is more of a strong side linebacker who covers the TE, trent cole just isnt cutting it anymore.  he had a decent year (8 sacks) but he isn't what he use to be and we need someone who is a 12-15 sack guy now.

3.  2nd wr.  maclin and cooper are both FA so howie needs to figure out if they want to bring one of them back.  i can't imagine both of them will come back since eagles rarely go 4 wr and both are going to want to get paid.  maclin coming off a torn acl complicates things, but he is also the better player.

early draft wish list:

1. johnny manziel

2. clowney

ok, realistic draft wish list:

1. HaHa clinton dix

2. mike evans

3. marquise lee

*2 and 3 depend on what we do with maclin
