yeah, everyone knew the barwin move was coming, the only question was would he be traded or cut. he even said he would take a pay cut to stay but apparently that wasn't enough. he needs to be in a 3-4 team as he only had 5 sacks last year and clearly wasn't the same player as he was the past 3 years in the 3-4 with chip and for 8M it wasn't worth it.
I would be shocked if eagles were in on Jeffrey as he is going to get top dollar and I don't think they have the $ for him plus not sure if he's worth it. a better bet is a lower tier but cheaper option at WR someone like torrey smith who apparently is decided between eagles and ravens.
I would be happy with bouye but as I said yesterday there is a lot of risk there. I heard he was deciding between another AFC south team so we'll see what happens at 4pm
and as I typed that eagles signed smith to a 3 year 15M deal haha. not a bad deal, I was expecting something like that as oppose to going all in on a risk like Jeffrey/britt/pryor etc. gives us some speed to stretch the filed but nothing special.
yeah that was ridiculous. I love how he can put things in a tweet such as "potential" or "sources say" which basically means you can make up anything you want if you put something like those terms in a tweet and people will eat it up and get excited about it but no fall back on him if it doesn't happen since it wasn't an actual report.
browns just paid 16 mill for 2nd round pick haha. if they were anyone else it may be considered a good move but no way they do this right. my only fear now is they trade something like this years #1 overall and that 2nd next year for garappolo. that makes them instantly better, and the SB champs go from #32 to #1 overall. that has def never happened before.
unfotunatly i also liked that the ravens did with jefferson and resigning brandon williams. i was really hoping williams would leave. bengals are having a brutal offseason.

im not big on torrey smith but i like alshon alot so for 1 year thats a wonderful deal for the iggles (and for him to prove himself).
unrelated -- did you guys see the aldon smith video after he was released from jail yesterday morning. hes obviously still wasted and its pretty sad that he has absolutely no idea whats going on (at the moment or in his life). this was supposedly a couple days before he was reinstated.
