nick, take out saints will miss the playoffs for me and replace it with cheifs 9-7 or better. danny already has the same thing so no need to do it twice
bold prediction, matt leinart will be benched by week 6
i think it will be sooner than that.

if Vincent Jackson gets traded to the Panthers they automatically have a top 5 offense. VJax, Steve Smith, DeAngelo Williams and Johnathan Stewart... can you name 4 better players starting on 1 offense??

where did you hear vjax to panthers? also you named 4 players. that lineup would be sick but we don't know if matt moore is any good, also the panthers o coordinator said they wouldnt be throwing more in 2010
after watching an excellent episode of hard knocks i am prepared to make some solid anaylsis. i really do not believe they will be better than 8-8 next year. rex ryan tried to make his team act confident by pumping them up all year n declaring them super bowl favorites, but all it really did was make them ****y and not practice hard. as the coaches noted in there practices, they have no leadership and as u can see in preseason they look awful. i thought all of rexs offseason comments would help, but it seems like it really hurt them. if this was a confident team like the pats i could see it working, but u get ride of tough, good players and great leaders like thomas jones and alan faneca, and u replace them with talented guys but guys who never won **** like cromotie and a pre madana jason taylor and this is going to be bad. plus they have a target on there back so there gonna get every1s best game which is gonna b tough. also throw in the fact tht there best player revis isnt even there and the fact tht he is going to be out of shape if/when he comes back, i dont think there gonna b any good. i also dont think sanchez is any good, hes only in his 2nd year still with a lot of room to grow, i actually think 6-10 is more possible than 10-6. theres no way in hell this team goes to the super bowl.
damn fish thats a lot of hate in 1 post. i think you are forgetting that they still need to play the games on the field and the team may have the most talent of any team in the league.
im not huge on sanchez either but they have the best offensive line in football, great receivers, 2 good FB and one good young HB and one experienced guy in LT.
Theyre starting defense is about as good as it gets. they are real thin throughout but like they said last night, if your paying starters like Ferguson, Mangold, Sanchez and Revis there isnt alot of money for backups.
I personally dont see them winning the superbowl either, but 6-10 is a pretty far fetched record.
I think their entire season rides on injuries. If they stay healthy they definatly have a chance of making the playoffs and winning a couple games. if they start getting hurt early and often they will get beat pretty quickly. Other than losing revis they have only added players (LT, JT, Cromartie, ****face, etc.) since last season, and if they went to the AFCC game, albeit because the Colts laid down for them to get into the playoffs, i dont really see how they will be worse.
Not a Jets fan, but Kearns has officially hopped on the band wagon.
i might be wrong, who knows but this is my prediction. i agree jets have a lot of talent on paper, tht doesnt always translate into wins. the team who wins are the ones who r hungry and practice hard every day. the jets are acting like they went 15-1 last year and r shoe-ins and thts not the case. they are not gonna play well, u need a real good qb to win n sanchez is not it. now he is only in his 2nd year so im not gonna act like hes never gonna b good, but not for this year. i think holmes is there best player on o and hes missing a quarter of the season. there line is good, but not as good as last year cuz they lost faneca and replaced him with a guy who looks like he should b cut. who cares tht they have 2 good fbs? colts go 13-3 every year n they normally dont keep any. they cut thomas jones who is not only really good, but hes tough as hell n u cant replace tht on the field. i think jason taylor sucks, he hasnt done **** in 3 years n hes been cut by 2 different teams the past 2 years. they lost calvin pace who is really good, plus revis even if he does come back i dont think hes gonna b as good as last year since he is going to b out of shape, and thts even if he comes back. im telling u man, call it a hunch but i got them going 7-9 or 6-10.
haha great u have an off day 2mrw and wanna get wild? all tht means for me is 20 jager/rumplemint shots and u sleeping in til 2pm with me going to work hungover as **** n wanting to die. with that said, im in.
haha noo i am going to work tomm 9-noon. i still have to wake up early and ****. but yea lets do something tonight i think kelly wants us to come visit...
does she now? have u talked to her? i thought motz gave her his #, wat did i miss? i have a feeling im not going to remember much of tonights jersey shore episode
josh josh josh tsk tsk tsk. never reveil ur sleepers b4 the draft. i now no u like harvin, jones, and foster. uve always liked steve smith but now i no u r dilusional about him as well as the giants d and will b drafting him 3 rounds too high. and ur worst mistake of all, talking smack to the defending champ. payback is coming
1. always draft a backup running back over the starter. chances of a starting RB getting hurt are very high, chances of a starting RB AND his backup getting hurt are very low.
2. Running QBs are elite to pocket passers. 10 yards for 1 point or 25, you decide.
3. One name, 7 letters, Ben Tate
4. Don't pick until the very last second of the draft clock. You never know when you might think of something important.
4.a. expanding on 4, its also best to do your draft in a remote location with bad cell phone reception and lots to trees
5. If you wait until the last round to get a kicker, you wont get your choice. Draft one early and watch the competiton fight over the rest.
Thats all the advice your getting out of me until after the draft. see you bitches at 830
ya so far so good with nfl.com. woulda liked it even better if i didnt have to control 3 different teams drafts last night and had only 90 seconds to make a pic. but o well got through tht, the only negative ive seen is the lack of story place, only give u 1000 characters its like twitter on steriods. hopefully this forum can take tht place, but wheres every1 at? i understand no nickerson, but no mikey, kearns, paul? danny where the hell have u gone? we need input/jokes on this thing to make the league fun!
“It’s an odd couple,” Belichick said, drawing some laughter from media members. “But in the end, I think we have a lot of things in common.
“I like Chad. I like him as a player, I like him as a person. I like his enthusiasm and the fun he has in football, and how he competes on the football field.”
Belichick was then asked if he follows Ochocinco on Twitter.
“I don’t do Twitter, My Face, or any of that stuff,” Belichick said, not aware that it’s actually “MySpace.”
because he was a first round pick and therefore far from a sleeper. he will likely put up the best numbers of any rookie, but not first round pick numbers like rice gore turner and the obvious top 2.
i was actually glad he went cause i didnt want to have to choose between him and brady. my original plan was to either grab rice and him/mendenhall as bookend RB then grad Flacco to sub for Ben until he returned, but i just couldnt pass up my #3 ranked QB in the 2nd round.
