But my #5 might be changing, I don't feel the Seahawks will be trading up for a QB so much anymore, but I will replace with just as bold a prediction. But I'm going to play golf. I'll talk to you all later.

Ok, I'll start this game off Fish. Let's all make a total of 5 bold predictions, due before the draft.

I only have two to start, my other 3 will follow soon.

1. 4 QBs will be taken in the first round.
2. Colin Kaepernick will be a first round selection.

First off, yes I know its 2AM, but I can't sleep so I'm going to post my remaining Bold Predictions. I have a few changes, but here are my final 5.

1. 2011 NFL Draft will set the record for the most QBs taken in the 1st round. With a new rookie wage scale about to take place, there will not be as much penalty for drafting a QB in the 1st.

2. Colin Kaepernick will be a first round selection. (From original Bold Predictions, you ****s remember this!)

3. Only 2 WRs are taken in the 1st round; AJ Green, Julio Jones. Both will be taken in the top 17.

4. Blaine Gabbert is not drafted in the top 6 players. (This should definetly be a BOLD prediction according to Nick!)

5. The Seattle Seahawks trade up to draft a......QUARTERBACK.

I don't think anyone can argue that these are all BOLD predictions. Mock draft coming soon, call the Associated Press, this is going to be historic.

oh yea i see them now, heres everyones

Nick:

1 : Arizona Cardinals trade the #5 pick to the Houston Texans who select Patrick Peterson.
2 : A team in the top-5 will trade back into the first round with a team in the bottom-5 and select a quarterback. This team will either be the Cardinals, Bengals or Bills.
3 : Da'Quan Bowers, previously ranked #1 overall will not be selected in the top-15.
4 : The Miami Dolphins will draft Ryan Williams, RB VTech, in the 3rd round (good pick Dolphins!)
5 : IF the Steelers select a CB in round 1 it will be Ras-I Dowling from UVA. If they do not select Dowling they will not select a CB in round 1.

Fish:

1 : Ryan Mallet will be a top 10 pick
2 : Eagles will draft either Jimmy Smith or Brooks Reed
3 : Dolphins will not draft a QB until the 3rd round or later
4 : Mark Ingram will not be the first RB taken
5 : TBD

Dan:

Josh:

1 : The Bengals will trade back into the end of the first round for a QB
2 : The Cardinals will draft a defensive player with their 5th overall pick
3 : Julio Jones will be gone by the time the Rams pick.
4 : The Patriots will wind up drafting Mark Ingram at some point.
5 : Jimmy Smith will be gone before the 20th pick.

I would also like to change a prediction of mine.

Change my #5 to:

Mark Engram is the only RB selected in the 1st round of the draft.

my guess is there gonna trade kolb to someone for next years 1st (plus possibly more) then sign a vetern as a back-up to vick who is fimilar with the west coast offense, and they will groom there 4th rounder from last year mike kafka to be there long term backup and eventually will draft another qb to be vicks replacment in the next 2-3 years

i dont care who he goes to as long as we get something good for him.  remember the eagles traded there franchise qb of 10 years (mcnabb) to a division rival, i dont think kolb going anywhere is going to top that.  im hoping eagles get either a 1st rounder or a starting corner for him, maybe someone like cromatie-rodgers from AZ.  im hearing kolb is gonna go for a 1st and a player now.  i guess well see what happens with the asomuga thing too, eagles really want him

you missed the word "or."  as in, nick misread what i wrote OR nick can't read. big difference.

the real question is what would the eagles rather have ARZ 1st rounder or DRC?  for me it depends on asomuga.  i would go after nnamdi first, and if the eagles cant get him, then go for option #2 which seems like DRC.  maybe with the new cap eagles dont think they have enough money to get him (plus re-sign vick, djax) and with grahmn injured i think philly is going to go after a DE for the 6th straight year.  Can't wait!

RT @TheRealSkipBayless Arizona fans: Are you SURE KKolb is significantally better than Derek Anderson? I'm not. 7 starts, 10TDs, 10 INTs. Not sold hes a starting franchise QB.

Cant say I disagree with him!

“Coaches have had to continually stay on him about study habits, consistency and attention to detail. After three seasons, perhaps the Cardinals have grown tired of harping on Rodgers-Cromartie."

Doesnt sound like the type of player I want on my team!

Now that the lockout is finally over, this thread might start getting active again with FA bold predictions.

FISH, get fantasy going. I just want to view the Home Page and my empty team right now.

feels it in my bones. they need a difference making pass rusher, and those generally arent in ready supply. Also we've heard that they're not afraid to throw their hat in the ring on a big time trade (IE: Kolb)

Sorry Dominic, had to call you out! You can't look smart to both your Forum family and your Facebook family!

My boss came in early today, so I might miss a lot of the action here today until about 12.
