now that is some solid anaylsis, see nick it isnt that hard. but danny, we obviously know u are high on the giants since ur entire fantasy roster is made of them, but ur afc top 5 is a little questionable. No Ravens or Pats in the top 5? I understand the colts should be up there, but texans are way too inconsistent and there is no way the titans could beat the ravens IMO. i think the ravens n pats both need to be in the top 4, let alone out of the top 5. also, were do the phins fit in, playoffs?
Fish, sorry for the un-timely response. I didnt work until 4 today, and I drank an abundance of Jack Daniels at Marcs last night, and slept pretty much until work.
Your question: Where do the Dolphins fit in my grand scheme? Answer: The success of the team is contingent upon two things: 1. Chad "The Drive Killer" Henne, and the success of the secondary. His motto: When the going gets good, throw an interception. Jason Allen, although is among the top in interceptions. He seems to slather hot pig grease on his feet before games, causing him to slip and allow recievers easy touchdowns and gains. I can't lie, the Dolphin schedule might be too hard for them to remain consistent, thus causing chest pain for me throughout the season. I think 10-6 would be an amazing feat for this team, which may or may not push them into the playoffs.

Miami Dolphins vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday, October 24th, 2010 Sun Life Stadium, Miami FL
Previous Match-Ups 2009 - Week 17 In the season finale of the 2009 NFL season, the Pittsburgh Steelers narrowly defeated the Miami Dolphins 30-24. I was in San Diego at the time of this game watching with my brother. Ryan Clark was almost charged with involuntary manslaughter after his hit on Pat White, effectively forcing him to contemplate his career and abrubtly being released, and retiring. I seriously thought we might have seen the first death since post WW2 era NFL. Tyler Thigpen came in for an injured Chad Henne and almost led the team to a victorious final drive, only to be intercepted in the final minute to seal the defeat. ****.
2007 - Week 12 In a Monday Night showdown, the Miami Dolphins traveled to Heinz field in what turned out to be one of the worst football games I had ever watched in my life. A tropical monsoon had somehow traveled to Pittsburgh, USA to make for quite the weather. Having already lost every game so far in a 1-15 season, I was pretty much expecting the equivalent of what would happen if a bus of plump turkeys overturned into a river of crocadiles. However, Ricky Williams returned for his first game since his latest suspension, but proved worthless gaining probably 6 or 7 yards the whole game. While watching the game in my basement with my older brother without Nick (for fear of a total ****-talking nightmare), I watched Jeff Reed kick a field goal in the final seconds to get Pittsburgh yet another victory over the Dolphins. ****.
2006 - Week 1 Wow, where do I start with this gem. Let me just hit you with some background information. I beleive the Steelers had just won the Super Bowl, Daunte Culpepper was acquired by the Dolphins INSTEAD OF DREW BREES (****!!), and Ben Rothlesberger was out of the game due to emergency appendicitis. It was also the first year we formed our undying bond together as friends in our apartment in The Village. We had some people over, and drank some beers watching the game. I rarely wear jerseys but decided to bust out my brand new Ronnie Brown #23 white jersey for the game. I was pumped...I was ready...I even talked a little **** to Nick. The game started well, but ended in sheer dissapointment as Daunte Culpepper threw a slew of interceptions to lose the game. ****.
Current Match-Up
The 3-2 Dolphins are coming off a big win against the injury ridden Packers, and now get to face a Steeler team led by the freshly returned Big Ben Rapelesberger. Miami appears to match-up well against the Steeler offense, and I expect Cameron Wake and the defensive line to get to Rothlesberger. Vontae Davis and the entire secondary need to play well, and make sure they wipe the pig grease off their cleats this time, to ensure that Mike Wallace does not get 278 yards and 3 TDs. Hopefully Hines ward does not end Jason Allen's season. James Harrison plays like a silverback gorilla who has been poked and proded with a hot sodering iron for years, and has gotten loose. If he decides to lead with his head...someone will lose theirs. I expect Chad Henne to continue his solid play, but eliminate the drive killing interceptions that he has been plagued by. Please, for **** sake, look for Polamalu AT ALL TIMES! However, I expect a close, well fought game. Playing at home is one of the only advantages that Miami has, and I expect them to take full advantage. Watch for the Brandon Marshall to have a big game for the Dolphins, supported by a time consuming run game from Ricky and Ronnie. I hope this is finally the year that I get to enjoy a victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers, because it really sucks. Nick, good luck and I hope nothing but bad things for your team. Prediction
Miami 21 - Pittsburgh 20
