also you have to realize that any team who claims him only to have him leave via free agency could quite possibly be awarded a 3rd round compensatory pick next year.
ok the pats didnt flat out cut him, but u think there was any way they were gonna resign him after this year? and i agree harvins #s were better, but that was it, AP's # r no different, and i actually think farve tried to force it a few too many times to him tht resulted in picks so u might b able to make the argument moss hurt them. teammate seems to love him but i agree with nick unless hes on a team he wants to play for its gonna b the same sitation n its not gonna work out well
i own brady and percy harvin in fantasy i understand exactly how valuable moss is for other receivers. problem is he is the opposite of valuable for the team. like fish said the pats are 3-0 since they got him and the vikes are 0-3 and moss single handly signed chillys pink slip.
chilly signed his own pink slip. cutting moss after trading a 3rd round pick for him is unforgiveable.
belicheck knew he wasnt going to resign moss so he shipped him out while he still could instead of letting him walk for nothing, this is because he is a genius. why anyone in this league ever trades with belicheck is amazing to me, has anyone ever broke even on a trade with him? let alone got the better end of the deal.
childress is an ****ing moron, absolute moron. moss should without question still be on the vikings right now. its only due to childress being the worst coach in the NFL by a large margin we are even having this conversation.
I 100% agree forster. Childress is the worst coach in a long time and he got by because of the sheer talent on his team. any other coach would have made the superbowl with that team last year, and there is no reason this team should be 2-5 this season.
Leslie Fraiser is going to be a great coach thou. he was the d coordinator with Tomlin (DB coach) at minnesota and tomlin tried to get him to the steelers when there was talk that lebeau was retiring. The Tomlin coaching tree is heating up with Fraizer and Raheem Morris haha
i agree with trading with the pats, i honestly cant think of 1 trade tht didnt go there way. the only negative with them is sometimes even when getting a great pick for the player, tht hurts the team in the short term, like trading deion branch a few years ago then have 0 decent wrs n losing to the colts in the afc championship game cuz no1 could get open. if they have branch do they win tht game? hard to say. its also nice having a lot of picks, but unless u hit with them there meaningless. so ya its nice to say moss for a 3rd is a great move but wat happens if they get in the playoffs n then struggle on offense cuz they got no deep threat and they double welker? was tht 3rd rounder still worth it if it costs them a super bowl chance?
as for fantasy, ya i miss having dallas clarke and manning throw to his te 9 times a game so i needed to jump all over him. plus nobody else was worth picking up until some starter gets hurt
I wanted Tamme, but I never get awarded waivers. How I got Blount and no one ahead of me claimed him I'm really surprised.

i was thinking about getting blount weeks ago after he scored vs pitt n caddie williams was getting less carries, but then they had a bye n then he didnt really do much so i kinda forgott about him and now he blows up so im a little bitter about that. always some1 who ur a week or 2 late on n then its over
funny thing is i suggested blount to kearns over campbell and tolbert this weekend in his other league. blount scored 22 and kearns won by like 5. you know im a huge blount fan based on his past actions
im happy with vjax thou he will be a top 10 receiver when he gets back. bolts put buster davis on IR and there starting WR this weekend are some guys named Seyi Ajirotutu and Gary Banks. How in the hell does Rivers still lead in passing yards and on pace for the all time record is beyond me
ya but vjax cant come back til week 12 and who knows if there gonna just put him him in right away. u might have gotten the steal of the year if he comes back n is a monster or u might be done by the time he gets any real playing time
well the fantasy playoffs dont start until week 14 so at the very least i get 2 weeks out of him. there is no possible way he doesnt start right away did you read the names of the guys i mentioned above?
well he could be alittle out of shape his 1st game back idk. also reprt is the titans put a claim on moss, they have the 23rd slot. the cheifs has the 24th, dammit!!
Who do you think is going to claim Randy Moss in week 11?

this is a great deal for moss, great running game gonna open up the deep ball for him, hes on a contender and has a great coach who isnt going any where, its like vick going to philly. other than the pats or maybe the jets i cant think of too many other places better for him.
between haynesworth always acting up and now the mcnabb issue i think u should b happy this didnt happen. getting moss would have been the old redskins way of signing every 30 year old former pro bowler.
i place the blame for haynesworth and mcnabb fully on shanahan so i disagree, i'm disappointed we didn't pick him up. he would make us better, and shanahan has already made it clear we are not "rebuilding"
First, I can't help but see Moss get frustrated with VY's style of play. You can't quit on any plays with that guy playing under center. Still, it is one of the few teams that might "fit" for him.
Second, Mike Shanahan was a GREAT coach in Denver, which I think is the only reason he is not getting as much heat as Childress. But to me, his actions are just as stupid and hurtful to the team as Childress.

if shannhan cant handle mcnabb there is no way in hell he can handle moss. mcnabb is one of the classiest guys in the nfl n never plays media game like shannhan seems to love. the 1st thing tht doesnt go moss's way he will quit n thts the end of him. im telling u, if the skins got him it would have been a disater unless they go like 8-1 the rest of the way. and the way moss is currently playing there is no chance in hell tht was happening
I just realized you dropped Josh Freeman for VY. I think your going to regret that.
