I downloaded it the other day but haven't really had a chance to play around with it.

the apple music is alright but i prefer spotify. the problem is these damn exclusive right. it used to be everyone who sold their music to the itunes store also sold it to spotify. now, some of these dbags like dr. dre are exclusive to one platform or another (apple music, spotify or tidal).

yea I was wondering why I couldn't listen to any of dre's new album on soundcloud.

speaking of his album, how many mics? was it worth the 10+ years of hype that detox was supposed to get haha. I remember back in college all these hip hop websites had their yearly "albums we're excited for" lists and detox was on there in like '05 haha.

well, the album itself is really good. dr dre raps on most songs but what he really brings is great production. there are featured artists on every song which isnt necessarly a bad thing. kendrick lamar is on 3, eminem, snoop dogg, game, xzibit and ice cube are all solid plus some new cats.

its more like a kendrick lamar album with strong lyrics, great production and concepts. if ur looking for catchy hooks and club bangers its not even worth listening to. its also not chronic 2015 which he was a rapper throughout.

so I'm finally thinking about getting spoitfy. my only concern is I go through data so quickly for some reason, so now if I get this and start playing it in my car all the time I'm going to go through data more quickly. am I wrong about this or any way to prevent it?

i dunno i still have unlimited data. although i will say its crazy u still dont have spotify after ive tried to convince you for at least a year.

just make a conscious effort to use wifi whereever possible and that should make up for the extra data. dont you have a family plan or something? steal cathys data

family plan. and trust me I do try to use wifi a lot but its impossible in the car and I think I use most of it there listening to podcasts.

I wonder how much more unlimited is, we get like 12 GB for the 4 of us and I somehow use like half of it every month

they dont offer unlimited anymore. i got my iphone back in 2008 and they grandfathered everyone in who already had it but dont offer it to new(er) customers if they didnt already have it.

12gb isnt all that much for a family of 4. i can see how yall blow thru that

I'm liking Views a lot. not my fav album of his but still good. so far here is my top 5:

1. Too Good (feat Rihanna)

2. Once Dance

3. Redemption

IMO its aight but this album was supposed to be his best ever and theres no way its better than take care, thank me later or even IYRTITL. Obviously still some good songs but so far im pretty underwhelmed. what makes that worse is its 20 tracks at 1.5 hours. Too long.

I do really like 9, U With Me?, Feel No Ways, Hype and Weston Road Flows. That stretch is great. always liked One Dance but *hate* Controlla. Too Good and With You arent bad. Pop Style is sooo weak for the talent on it.

Theres just no lead singles on this album. All of these songs are good not great. even NWTS had started from the bottom, hold on were going home and worst behavior. Drake was on freaking Aston Martin Music where the hell is that soul music? I dunno man, between this and WATTBA drake just seems a bit lazy lately.

I like it more than you do but I agree with most of what you said. I was thinking the same thing about not having too many radio singles which he normally has like 5 #1 hits per album. I guess hotline bling was 1 but that's been out forever, one dance is out but I don't see that being a big time hit, and I guess too good is probably next in line just because every song with him and Rihanna together does well.

I normally can listen to his album for a few weeks straight but idk how much longer I'm going to listen to this, there's just not too many tracks on here that I like to repeat over and over and are getting stuck in my head.
