we need an offical voting commeete to narrown down this hall of fame class.  i also think we can only have 5 initial inductes and then every year after that we can include 1 or 2 members based off a 75% voting approval

1. Alberty Haynesowrth
No comment is needed for this one.
2. Adam Archuleta
Almost three years removed from Archuleta's Pro Bowl Season, the Redskins made him the highest paid safety in NFL history.
3. Deion Sanders
The Redskins gave a old Primetime, "primetime" money, and got nothing in return.
4. Brandon Lloyd
After failing to develop this WR, he goes to Denver and makes the Pro Bowl.
5. Dana Stubblefield
After being named the Defensive Player of the Year in San Francisco, he headed to FA and the Redskins jumped over him giving him a then record $56 million dollar contract. He proceeded to record 7 sacks over the next three years.

thats a solid 1st class.  i think mcnabb is in discussion esp when u consider they also gave up a 2nd and 4th rounder for about 13 games and also a huge contract extension.  he did not cause a distraction like hanyesworth did cuz mcnabb has class, u could argue the skins expected much more from mcnabb becuase they finally thought they had a franchise qb, only to see get benched for sexy rexy

I think it might be a little to early to put McNabb on the top 5 list, definitely a class of 2012 candidate.

I still have dreams of Phillip Rivers in Giant Blue. If they go anywhere besides OL/LB/CB first riound id be shell shocked. Wouldn't mind a 2nd round QB project. I expect a bounce back year for Eli. But that depends highly upon if Kevin Gilbride is back (OH PLEASE GOD DO NOT LET HIM COME BACK FOR THE LOVE OF GOD). As of the moment I expect Eli to finish out his contract which lets him become a free agent in 2015. Id say if he doesn't at least take us to one more super bowl that'll be the end of the Eli Manning saga in NY.

Dan, did you see the Tim Tebow documentary? I sure wouldnt want his agents inside information when doing my mock draft. Saying that the Broncos would trade back to stockpile picks, then nailing Demyrius Thomas when they were on the clock, then calling before the draft started that Denver would trade up from the second round to select him somewhere between 22-30...

Not only did he nail the team and the spot, he also called the trade before it happened. Psh these guys with inside information think they know everything

The year of the QB thing on ESPN?

really interesting documentary and I really enjoyed it, and I am not a Tebow fan.

-the giants picking a dlinemen in round 1 is like halloween, it happens every year and it seems scary at first but never really is.

-its still really early for mock drafts to be anywhere near accuarte.  my whole point on that mizzu kid is that i would be shocked if the #1 pick is a guy i didnt hear of until after he declared.  im not hardcore about college football as i am in the nfl so im not gonna act like i can name the top 20 picks today, but ive never had not heard of a kid who is suppose to be the #1 pick until after the season was over, especially a qb.  i still doubt he goes #1

the tim tebow thing was awsome, as ive said before, ive already seen it 3 times and i wouldnt mind a 4th.

i saw its "year of qb" does that mean there is gonna b another one?  if any1 knows let ur boy know asap

well the fact they cant find a position for kiwi doesnt help.  one year hes de, the next olb, then back to de.  i wasnt a fan of JPP before the draft and that was b4 the giants drafted him.  i dont he did much to change my mind either.

i like tuck, but i think hes a good 2nd de and cant handle the double teams once strhan left.

osi is good in bunches, i feel like he'll have a game with 3-4 sacks n then go 3 games without one.  cant have that.  he is prolly the best strip sack de in the league tho so ill give him that

Have you looked at the stats? Biased eagle fan warning...

OSI 2010

11.5 sacks
11 forced fumbles
33 Tackles
2 passes defended

TUCK 2010
11.5 sacks
5 forced fumbles
48 tackles
4 passes defended

Trent Cole 2010
10 sacks
1 forced fumble
50 tackles
2 passes defended

a number 2 DE? my ass.

OSI:

week 1: 1 sack
week 2: 3 sacks
week 5: 2 sacks
week 7: 2 sacks
week 17: 3 sacks

5 out of 16 games he recorded at least 1 sack and a 5 game strench from week 8-16 the most important time of the year with .5

once again, he puts up nice numbers but hes a sacks in bunches guy.

tuck 4.5 of his sacks came in 1 game vs vick.  and 3 came vs chicago when there line didnt feel like blocking and let up 15 sacks. so 4 sacks in the other 14.  wow another pro bowler right here

u can twist stats any way u want to.

trent cole faces double teams every week, and plays almost every snap with no guy on the other end taking pressure off him, hes not gonna be putting up 15 sacks per year

as you said you can twist stats anyway you want.

Stats based purely on sacks? yeah sure. But the Giants have other guys who can pick up the slack.

there's a lot more stats  in your post unaccounted for.

in the end, you'll never give a giant credit when its due.

we already argued how JPP did more in limited time when compared to Brandon Graham fully starting X number of games.

Suck a fat one fish. cause in the end this is all that matters.

Giants have had one of the best D lines for the past 10 seasons. they lost strahan and didnt even blink. its the strong suit of their team its hard to argue against that

i dont no how "im not giving giants due" i said osi is a sack in bunches guy, and then i proved it by showing all his sacks in 5 games. i said i dont see tuck as a #1 de, and then i proved it with showing you 70% of his sacks came in 2 games, which is even more increble considering he has future hall of famers osi and JPP playing opposite of him.

if u guys want to claim JPP as a future pro bowler go ahead, but i was never high on him BEFORE the draft and his 4.5 sacks didnt do anything to change my mind.   i didnt realize u guys watched the coaches tape all season, u must be seeing something im not...

Not to jump the gun but....

Giants rookie DE Jason Pierre-Paul picked up his first two NFL sacks in last week's game against the Jaguars.
JPP is seeing increased playing time of late. "He's picked up the defense better, he's more attentive in meetings, he just seems like he's starting to let his athletic ability take over," explained Justin Tuck. Pierre-Paul is now drawing comparisons to DeMarcus Ware among Giants teammates after they originally questioned his work ethic.

For a rookie to get 4.5 sacks with as limited snaps as that guy got, thats pretty impressive.
