serious?  this convo is getting out of hand.  suh getting 10 sacks as a rookie defensive tackle is impressive.  not some1 who faces 1 on 1 every snap to get less than half of that

No ones comparing Suh to JPP, Suh is a once in a life time player period.

And I'll take a few playoff losses when I have 3 championships to look back on.

Oops im repeating myself now.

But for real, playoff wins aside, how many championships do the eagles have in over 44 years of superbowl history?

Oh yeah that's right.

1 point for every player on your mock draft actually taken in first round.
5 points for correct player by correct team (any spot in the draft)
2 points for correct position taken at correct spot
10 points for correct player for your favorite team

im glad the 2 championships they won in 1986 and 1990 when u were -1 and 3 years old have great memories to them, i bet u can retell those stories like they were yesterday.

but ur right giants have won more super bowls then the eagles so if u guys wanna twist an argument over whos a better rookie de to what franchise has more super bowl wins all time i guess i have no comeback so we should stop talking eagles giants cuz there is no point

agree.  im actually glad the cowboys signed jason garrett as there coach, i know they went 5-5 with him but i wasnt high on him.  the cowboys need a big time coach to handle jerry jones and some of those players and all that pressure in dallas and being "americas team" and i think it over whelms the younger and less inexpirence guys.  i would have been so pissed if they got some1 like gruden, but at least i can count on another few years of medioricty from them until they fire garrett and start over again

Haha I think we can expect mediocrity from the Cowboys until Jerry Jones removes himself as GM. Can anyone say Al Davis 2.0

No, I know. Below is an example of one section of questions will be like:

Who will get drafted earlier?

Julio Jones or Will Blackmon

Dan's Players to Watch

1. Colin Kaepernick, QB, Nevada
His storied career at Nevada started as player once deemed to skinny to play big time college football. The kid has progressed into possible first day talent, and as a fan of a team looking to possibly draft a QB in rounds other than 1-2, this guy is atop my list.

2. Titus Young, WR, Boise St.
The guy was a beast at Boise State, and a strong showing at the NFL Combine could make him the second WR taken behind AJ Green. I don't think is as good prospect as Young, but also keep an eye on teammate Austin Pettis if he attends.

3. Von Miller, DE/LB, Texas A&M
Von Miller decided to stay for his senior year, despite being projected as a first day lock. His numbers dropped considerably, but he could be the best defensive player in the draft. A good showing and I could foresee this guy going as high as #3 to Buffalo.

4. Casey Matthews, LB, Oregon
A strong showing in the National Championship helped put this guy more on the map. It sure must be easy to be overlooked when your brother is the best linebacker in the NFL, but he could one day be just as good.

Obviously there are several players yet to RSVP for the Combine, and we don't know what drills they will participate in, but these guys have already RSVP'ed. I will be sure to add more as they come in.

danny i got mel to answer a question for u!

Mark (Baltimore)

Mel, big fan my boy is a desperate dolphins fan can u help him out...What do you think about Colin Kaepernick going to the them. They need QB help, he could revive the wildcat, and they could probably get him in the second round

Mel Kiper

I think he's probably going to be in the 3-5 round area. You have to tweak his mechanics. No question about his size, ability, speed or competitiveness. But you need to change his mechanics. In a league that you have to throw the ball to be effective, you need him to be better in that area. Some people might think that he's a second rounder, but I think more the 3-4 round area. He needs a QB coach to work with him for a couple of years.

Sounds like Mel Kiper was spot on with my analysis. Anywhere from round 3-4, no later though.

Trent Dilfer calls Cam Newtons workout "phenomenal".

I'm thinking an Auburn player goes #1. Fairley or Newton.

Damn Nick I thought you were better than just going with what Mel Kiper or Todd McShay say. I love how nobody could tell me who this guy was during the college season, but now swears he is the real deal. Don't get me wrong, he very well could be, and I do think he translates well to the Pro game, but you wont see me making any bold predictions with this guy, cause in the end we all know whose bold prediction that really was (kiper/mcshay)!

The real question is, will ron rivera decide to stick to his forte and draft Fairley to anchor the middle of his line as he is a D-Coordinator at heart. Personally, I think he does. I think it's too soon to outright give up on Clausen (though im pretty sure mozz would have looked better than he did last year). QBs are always such a crapshoot you never know what you're going to get. I put my money on Fairley and Ron builds the dominating defense he's been known for for many years (bears/chargers). I predict a dominating defense strategy with an emphasis on offensive line to get DeAngelo and Stewart back to glory.

No disagreements, he "owes" clausen nothing. But like I said, I see him going with what he really knows, building a dominating D, and then letting the offense do its thing.

a lot arguing over **** that is posted on the forum and now every1 forgets what they said haha.  1st, i agree with danny here and i said it also, i am shocked a guy like gabbert was even being considered the #1 qb when i and many other ppl have never heard of him until he delcared for the draft.  not to say he wont be the #1 pick or not to say he wont be good, but im just shocked a potential #1 pick qb is someone i never heard of.

now i agree fairly is a beast, but if there gonna go dline i think there gonna go bowers.  but if i were him id go qb.  a qb can change a franchise around that no dt can no matter how good he is. just look at bradford and matt ryan.  if u think there is a qb worthy of a top 5 pick, u take him.  btw the only way they pass on a qb for clausen is to assure they go 1-15 again and get the #1 pick for luck next year.

rivera ran a 3-4 with the chargers, but im not sure what he will run with the panthers.  if it is a 3-4 then u dont need to pick a dt with the #1 pick, a de would make more sense here and u can fill the dt spot with a big guy.  unless he thinks farily can move to the de like ngata can, i dont think he goes with him at #1.  thats y im going bowers or newton at #1

bowers is a 4-3 defensive end thou. a lot of times when a 4-3 defensive ends play in the 3-4 they stand up at linebacker. it could work like lamar woodley or terrell suggs. it could work at LB but i dont think hes big enough, and hes too good, to be a 3-4 defensive end
