Gentlemennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn It is that time we are in the final stages of the countdown. I will be gracing all of you with my presences tonight. I am fairly confident that I do not want to get **** housed tonight since we have an eventful weekend of gambling, smoking, drinking, sniffing, hooker, stripper filled adventure. I am pretty sure now is the appropriate time to unleash the Yes chants but with Commish Fish's authorization this can not be done. So fish what do you say can we start the chants?

Gentleman the Vegas Trip has come and gone and I am in a sad state of depression. What makes it even worse is that everytime I get on the message board there is a thread titled Vegas Vacation. It hurts me inside knowing that the next Vegas vacation is 365 days away. With that being said I propose that we recap and discuss the vacation and on Monday the thread be deleted. I know some of you are are thinking why but lets look at it this way. Logging onto the forum and seeing Vegas Vacation up and knowing we are not going there next week or tommorrow is to painful on the psyche. It is just a suggestion it is similar to what the guys in Hangover did instead of deleting pictures we will delete the thread and re-open it when we are ready for round 2. With that being said it is now time for what will probably be the highlight of the trip the re-cap, and what better person to re-cap the trip than the best story teller Mr. Chase Cox.

I must wait until my boss leaves roughly around 4PM before I can start typing my post, he will know instantly I am not looking up golf club sales trends on the Internet because I will be giggling like a school yard b!tch every stroke I type. I also have some funny pictures and videos that I can post.

Ok so I realize this will not be as epic as dannys post but i wanted to send my parents an email about the trip. A copy of that email is below:

So we all made it back from Las Vegas in 1 piece. I’m sure you guys are wondering what happened and how everyone made out. I’ll try to break it down by each day so you can get the whole experience.

 

Friday – The roommates and I plus Ermyas spent the night at the place in Bmore on Thursday night and didn’t do anything since we had to be up early for our flight. Danny slept at home but surprisingly was there even before I told him to get there at 9 am. We got coffee and packed up the car and headed for the airport. Being so excited and thanks to moms advice we got there 2 and a half hours before takeoff. We got through security very quickly even though I forgot to take my cell phone out of my back pocket and was patted down after going through the new scanning devices. With 2 hours to spare we hit the airport bar and killed the time before take off. The flights weren’t too bad. We were confused by the time difference in Indy and thought we had an hour to eat which turned into 5 minutes to run to the gate once our cell phones switched to central time and we realized we really didn’t have an hour. The second plane ride was full of excitement and free drinking thanks to southwest coupons that’s fish’s girlfriend gave him before we left. We landed at 430 LV time and hopped on the shuttle to the hotel. We got an unexpected tour of LV since there were 6 other groups of people on the shuttle all going to different places. We were the last to get dropped off and couldn’t have been more ready to get there. We checked into the hotel and went to Gordon Beirsch for dinner. You would think the excitement would be at an all time high, except for the fact that we were exhausted and since we didn’t have a layover hadn’t eaten a single thing all day. It was 9 PM EST when we finally got to eat. Eating helped a lot and danny kerri and I went back and checked into the timeshare and relaxed waiting for Danielle and Motz to arrive.

 

They got there the same time that Fish and the rest of the guys came to our place to begin the night. Everyone showered up and we had a toast before hitting the town. We agreed that a club was not in our best interest since we were all still pretty tired so we went to Caesers palace to drink and gamble. I introduced Ermyas to the craps table and he fell in love. It was the best night of craps I had ever played. The smallest table was a $25 minimum so I changed out $200 and him and I began playing. There were some high rollers at the other end of the table and one of them cautioned against joining because the table was so cold. He said he had lost $40,000 in the past couple hours. We were determined to change his luck. And. It. Worked. Erymas shot first and even though he had no idea what he was doing we went up a quick $100 bucks. He crapped out and it was my turn. I rolled 3 consecutive 7/11s and the table started getting excited. It wasn’t until my 4^th roll that I got hot. The number was a 5 but I refused to hit it a second time. I rolled for at least 20 rolls without hitting a 7 or a 5. People were betting hundreds (in one guys case thousands) of dollars on the numbers. And I kept hitting them. It got so good that the guy that told me to stay away ended up betting $200 on me, meaning that everytime I hit the 8 I won $200 without even making a bet. The guy next to Erymas was winning so much that he started throwing me $25 chips for no reason at all. The table was going crazy. I finally hit that number and went on to win a couple more times before finally crapping out. You hear about tables getting hot and crazy when people are winning, but for it to happen on my first night in vegas was pretty epic. I never expected high rollers to be making bets for me. They even jacked up the minimum to $100 on that table only because it was making the players so much money. That was the high point in gambling for the weekend, I left with $960 after putting up $200 to start with. I ended up being up over $600 for the weekend when all was said and done.

 

Unfortunately when I was finished on the craps table Danielle told me that her and Kerris purses were missing. We looked everywhere for them and filed a report with the security at the casino. They were obviously stolen because if they were left somewhere in the casino we would have found them after looking everywhere for at least an hour. They were upset, and rightfully so since there is not a lot you can do in vegas without a license. We weren’t sure how it was going to work out. We gave up on looking and went home and to bed. 5 AM LV time, 8 AM EST. We had been up for over 24 hours…

 

Saturday – We woke up around 10 AM on Saturday. Called around for the purses, no luck. Danielle cancelled her CC and had her mom fax a copy of her birth certificate and passport. The girls were still upset but there wasn’t much we could do so to change the mood we woke danny up and fed him some shots. (I know you know but) If I haven’t mentioned by now that that kid is hilarious I cant go any further without doing so. Everything from one liners to making friends with every cab driver he meets and having him in stitches by the time he would drop us off. His comedic relief helped in times like this. After some drinks we met up with the guys at MGM Grand. DD and Kerri couldn’t gamble but we bought them some drinks and watched for a while. After we got bored we went to one of the restaurants for steak and eggs. Not even getting carded they got drinks. We realized it might not be so bad after all. I was really surprised that they weren’t carded more often even just walking around the casinos.

 

After lunch we decided to walk around the strip for a little while. Our friend motz agreed to get a lower back tattoo (aka a tramp stamp) which should never be done on a guy. We convinced him by letting him pick out a Yosemete Sam portrait then quickly slipped the artist 20 bucks to change that to a unicorn. The tattoo lasts for 4 weeks but the reaction when he pinned up his shirt and walked down the strip was immediate. People were stopping, turning around and laughing, pointing and taking pictures. It was great. The same friend decided that it would be a good idea to try to ride up the railing of the escalator to the Hard Rock casino. This escalator is huge and there was nothing to the side but the gift shop. He tried a couple times on the flat part of the raining before the incline but was unsuccessful. He was told by the guy who worked there that it wasn’t a good idea so he walked onto the escalator steps and decided to go for it and try his luck about half way up. This next part may be one of those “you had to be there to understand how funny it was” moment, but he hopped onto the railing about 15 feet up the escalator, lost his balance and fell backwards completely off the side. Smashing into a sunglass case and breaking about 20 pairs of sunglasses on his way down he smacked the floor on his back. Security rushed to make sure he was ok, then probable kick him out, but he was so embarassd he hopped up and ran out of the store as quickly as possible, leaving his own sunglasses that fell off behind to likely be cleaned up with the other sunglasses and left on the display case. We were looked at like jerks for laughing histerically by other people who saw, not knowing that we actually knew him. It was time to call it a day so we headed back to the hotel for a nap before our night in the VIP.

 

Ermyas reserved us a VIP table at club XS. We got dressed up in our best outfits and headed over in a limo. It turned out it wasn’t just a VIP table but a VIP cabanna overlooking the pool and rest of the club. It was pretty amazing. Getting in was a problem thou as these guys weren’t so lenient with DD and Kerris IDs. We had come to far to give up so we paid them off to let us in without checking them. We spent the night in the private cabanna drinking fine liquor and partying. Danny told a couple girls that Ermyas invented the ATM and was worth $17.5 million. It wasn’t too much of a reach considering the suit he was wearing. They bought it and he ended up with one of them later that night. Fish also had a good night in a different way and was carried out of the club by danny who was in no shape to be carrying anyone at that point haha. We made it home and went to the hotel Dennys around 6 AM; then to bed.

 

Sunday – We woke up and went out to lunch then came home and took a nap. Nothing special during the morning. We met up at MGM grand at 7 to go to dinner at one of the best steak houses in Las Vegas. We spent at least 2 hours at this place and managed to rack up a $977 bill. Probably the best meal I ever had and was full of good laughs. We left and spent the night at a couple different casinos gambling and drinking. We were scheduled to be picked up in a limo for the strip club but decided instead to call that off and spend our last night with the whole crew.

 

We woke up Monday and came home. The no ids was surprisingly a non-factor at the airport. Tired and dissapointed to be home we all went to bed after our 14 hours travel day.
