I can't lie though, I don't watch much regular season NBA, never have. Once playoffs come around I hope all these players are in it.

Derrick Rose, Rajon Rondo and Blake Griffin should also receive votes

i no u guys no very little about basketball so ill cut u a break here.  first lebron is #1 there really is no debate on that.  i no durant is a very good scorer and it a little younger but no1 on earth would pick him over lebron if they were to start a team. lebron is only 26 so its not a potential thing either.  just look what lebron did with the cavs, they went from best record in the nba to maybe the worst team ever. nobody else can do that.

-carmelo and amare wouldn't be in the top 5.  carmelo is about to be traded and the suns let amare walk just last year.

-ur missing point guards, which is one of the most important positions in the nba.  if i were to guess mine would look like this:

1. lebron
2. durant
3. howard
4. rose
5. chris paul

Some arguments I like, but how does Carmelo about to be traded have anything to do with ranking him?

I know basketball enough to know that big men go before PGs.

If Fish were into the surfing community he would be one of these:

ho-dad

Pronunciation: (hō'dad"), [key]
—n.
1. a nonsurfer who spends time at beaches masquerading as a surfer.

nick, ur wrong i watch games all the time, mostly in my room, and i watch the highlights on sportscenter when ur in bed plus im reading all the espn basketball guys all the time at work, plus i follow at least 3 guys on twitter who only talk about basketball so dont give me that ****.  i currently have a chat open with john hollinger who is the basketball guy on espn.com who deveolped the PER formula for basketball effecitancy which o btw lebron is #1 on it.  bill simmons is my favorite sports writer and guess what his number #1 sport is...

and no i didnt copy ur rose and griffen argument, i was in the middle of writing something and u posted it before i even read it.

danny, big men go b4 point guards was true a few years ago, but a lot of the rules changed where u can hipcheck guards anymore so it allows guards to dominate the game a little easier.  plus other than howard there aren't too many big guys worth a damn anymore.

and nick i dont remember saying u no nothing but whatever.  if u want me to i can give u my top 5 nhl players and then claim i no everything n the person who actually follows it is an idiot, would u like me to do that?  that is mroe ur style so give me a word and defintion for that

From PFT: Getting rid of the ball is definitely a skill.  Consider that Roethlisberger only took 12 sacks where he held the ball three seconds or less.  That’s fewer than Eli Manning and Peyton Manning took.

While Flacco and Roethlisberger took 45 combined sacks where they held the ball for more than three seconds, the Manning brothers only had one apiece.

That’s on the quarterback.

Now, i agree big ben holding on the ball hurts a little but also it is what makes him so good wherer he can extend plays, but my question is does the stiller oline get a bad rap?  this study shows big ben is a big reason for the high sack #s, and rashard mendhall just had a very good year rushing for almost 1300 yards, so how bad can there line possible be?  they also beat 2 of the most aggresive defensive in bmore or nyj, so what do u think, stillers line getting a bad rap?

the funny thing is that Ben threw less interceptions than either of the Mannings. Id rather have a sack then a pick so maybe the manning brothers should start holding onto the ball longer!

to answer your question, thats not a new idea for the steelers. people wonder why they never do anything to upgrade their oline. well the reason is that their oline isnt that bad its their style of offense that causes all the sacks

for the biggest "GET THE FCUK OUT OF HERE" story of the week goes to... BIG BEN!

Roethlisberger told Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that his fiancee, Ashley Harlan, lives at home with her parents, and that the couple’s religious faith and beliefs are the reasons for not living together until marriage.

PUULEASE!
