depends how bad the concussion was and how many they have had. austic collie was out for the year, so was steve young when he played, he even had to retire from it. i just think it only gets reported in hockey/baseball when it is really bad cuz concussions dont happen as much compared to football. but in football they happen every week so u hear about it more
sidney crosby got a concussion at the winter classic on new years day and hasnt played since!!
i think the reason is that those sports have so many games that stars can miss several and the team will be ok. in football you need every win so players are doing everything they can to get back in
Hockey and baseball players are a bunch of pussys?

Thats a good question though, maybe its because of the week period between games?

hockey players are without a doubt the toughest athletes of any sport, dude from the islanders got hit by a SUV crossing the street last year in NYC and played that night. eric belanger on the caps pulled out 2 teeth while sitting on the bench and didnt miss a shift.
nfl players play through concussions because the season is shorter, therefore the stakes are higher. also in the NFL there is a huge dropoff in the talent from starter to backup. in hockey your starters are playing for a minute of ice time and then rotating for fresh legs.
and remember the NFL is a baby when it comes to caring about concussions. i mean does anyone doubt that aaron rodgers probably suffered a concussion in the NFC title game when peppers rocked him helmet to helmet? he looked dazed but he knew he had to keep his wits about him and not tell anyone or hed be watching the rest of the game.

it really would not surprise me at all and its something GB fans should be very worried about. i really didn't think hed get up from that peppers hit, esp after the slow mo replay saw his face contort while absorbing the blow.
