me and erm are going to vegas for the biggest UFC card in a long time and we wanted to go to miami sometime in the winter for some good weather.

as for mardi gras, the tradition was established last year and since were going back to vegas in october we needed to find somewhere else. we were thinking somewhere tropical but mardi gras might be the move

Mardi Gras sounds awesome for the Bday celebrations. Yes Nick is correct Vegas and Miami will be happening this fall. I highly suggest we figure out the Miami trip just because I looked at plane tickets and they are dirt cheap right now. I am down for an OC trip we go anytime you all want to maybe we can go for a weekend at the end of August???

the great thing about miami - plane tickets cost next to nothing and ill be getting corporate rates at the marriott. ill start looking into everything prolly next week.

well Fish if we take care of Miami sooner rather than later it will be much much cheaper. OC requires no effort if we are not planning to go on any holidays.

agree, but we also have been saying we want to set a trip to OC since before memioral day and still arent any closer to that.

i just want to know the weekends avaiable and im sure we will be able to get enough ppl in no time

well theres no discount on the ocean city marriott during the month of august since its peak season so were looking at $389 a night/room

im not debating that the miami thing sounds good, but once again that is not for anohter 4-5 months and OC is something we can organize in 2 days. weve been to OC for like 3 straight years now and its been one of the best weekends of the summer every year, so im not sure y every1 is making minimal effort on this

so take charge man. i dont have to setup every trip all it takes is 1 person. i cant get the discount on rooms so i dont need to be the one looking for another spot. Anything you find count me in, but the prices arent going to look themselves up

im all about golf this year dan so lets setup a tee time for that weekend.

fish is the leader on this trip. start looking up prices boss lets get rooms reserved. Here is my wishlist of places to stay:

-privatly rented house: similar to Santas place last memorial day. somewhere other than a hotel that we might be able to get a little cheaper the weekend before labor day (26th-28th). sleeps more than 4 so we dont need multiple rooms. can probably be found on craigs list

-holiday inn: known for the best pool bar in OC. there are 2 holiday inns in OC so make sure you lookup the one with the awesome pool bar

-the grand: prolly my favorite hotel in OC. no particular reason except the hazy memories from beach week

-the quay: a fitting name for a couple of the people in our group (i kid)

there is no way in hell in setting this up by myself. if u guys are expecting that i suggest u make other plans now. if one day we wanna look up pricing on the computer together rather than watching americas got talent than im down to help out for that, use my card whatever.

fish- erm set up OC last year by himself and I set up an entire trip to vegas for everyone (complete with plane tickets). why is it always me or him that have to set up entire trips and everyone else just pays whatever we ask from them and tag along? all you gotta do it look up prices for hotel rooms in OC why does that take more than 1 person haha i dont get it

cuz every time i do something every1 bitches that its not good enough n i gotta hear about it the whole time. im not doing it. i set up the AC trip a few years ago and never got my $ from a certain memeber of the group. so ill help some1 out but if u think im setting it up on my own then ill go to the jersey shore that weekend with no hassel.

ummmm btw i wont be able to attend the OC trip that weekend cuz ill be at the JERSEY SHORE.......(Sea Isle) that whole week starting the 27th.......and Fish i havent used up all my days but i have off that whole week and need to spare a few days in case i need to take off for something like a funeral of a roommate (once this argument of fish wanting to go to OC and have nick set it up) is over
