he doesnt have a pay out system like vegas does. u pick ur teams, have to use the spread and its like a 4-1 payout depending on the teams u put say 4 teams in a paraly.

no, im not saying those r the odds u would get for a 5 team, but thats how it works. i think the highest he goes is 4 team, i emailed him asking for the odds on that. this is y i wanted a website to use!

the reason i bring up bill simmons picks is cuz

1. he is the man

2. in the contest he is in (posted on page 1 and where i got this idea from) he said he is close to the top 20 range and all top 20 gets there $ back ($1,500 entry fee) and even more the higher in the standings you are.

so nick, maybe u should consider this for next year considering your pretty close to where he is now, percentage wise. if we go 50-50 on it thats $750 a person which is like betting $50 a week on the entire year. not bad if u ask me.

so rory mcilroy has won 3 tournaments in a row including 2 majors. he is dominating golf right now.

why is this in the vegas locks thread you ask? well on thursday, after round 1 of the pga championship this last weekend, rory was 3 shots back. its hard to pick a single winner in golf, and considering he was 3 shots back rory was at +135 odds.

i texted fish to place $1000 on rory (yes thats 3 zeros) with his bookie. im not sure whether he was joking or not but apparently his "bookie" takes bets for the ICL (international cricket league) but not the PGA.

what ends up happening? you guessed it base on the first line of this post. rory wins me $1350 and everyone happy....oh wait my bet didnt go thru
