i like his top 10 other than cooper at 10 and even worse, him over warmack, dont see any chance of that happening.  knowing andy reid i do agree the only way the chiefs pass on jockel is for a top DT like star, but i still think they go LT.

i would be very happy with milliner because right now corner is their biggest hole.

i also still dont see jarvis jones falling that fall, the guy was too dominate in college not to go in the top 10 or at worse top 15

Updated mock draft | Big Board | Top 5 at each position

1
Luke Joeckel
Kansas City Chiefs (2-14)

COLLEGE: Texas A&M
AGE: 21
HT: 6-6
WT: 306
POS: OT
kan.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: Joeckel can play a huge role this season as the immediate starter at right tackle, and could become the left tackle of the future. Joeckel is a complete package, a gifted pass-blocker who utilizes great technique and also brings power in the run game.

Free agency factor: Branden Albert was franchised, but Joeckel could replace him next year on the left side if the Chiefs let him walk, saving them a ton of money at a premium position. I don't think any moves they make in 2013 free agency will play into this pick.

2
Eric Fisher
Jacksonville Jaguars (2-14)

COLLEGE: Central Michigan
AGE: 22
HT: 6-7
WT: 306
POS: OT
jac.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: The Jags really need help on the pass rush, but they can get help there in Round 2. In taking Fisher, they improve their situation at left tackle, and there's no certainty that incumbent Eugene Monroe will be around in 2014. The Jags will never know what they have at QB if they can't do a better job in pass protection.

Free agency factor: The Jags could re-think this pick based on need if they can't find any pass-rush help in free agency. They have some cap space to add, but my guess is the team will be really focused on improving on several years of weak drafts.

3
Sharrif Floyd *
Oakland Raiders (4-12)

COLLEGE: Florida
AGE: 20
HT: 6-3
WT: 297
POS: DT
oak.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: The Raiders are in desperate need of young talent on the defensive line after a year where they were far too often gashed by the run. Floyd is a dynamic young talent, has played inside and on the edge and uses great leverage and power to drive blockers back and blow up plays.

Free agency factor: The future for Carson Palmer is a question mark because of his massive contract, and I can see the Raiders taking a hard look at a QB with this pick, even if the value range doesn't line up well. The Raiders also must find upgrades at linebacker. All in all, free agency shouldn't have much of an affect on this selection.

4
Dee Milliner *
Philadelphia Eagles (4-12)

COLLEGE: Alabama
AGE: 21
HT: 6-0
WT: 201
POS: CB
phi.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: Nnamdi Asomugha won't be wearing an Eagles uniform in 2013, and in a division with Eli Manning, Tony Romo and Robert Griffin III, the Eagles can't simply attempt to piece together the secondary. They need talent, and Milliner offers the best cornerback talent in the draft. Not a tough pick.

Free-agency factor: There isn't much in the way of top-end talent available in free agency if you want to improve your secondary, so I'm not sure any shopping will change the basis for this pick.

5
Ezekiel Ansah
Detroit Lions (4-12)

COLLEGE: BYU
AGE: 23
HT: 6-5
WT: 271
POS: DE
det.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: The Lions have some glaring holes at defensive end with Kyle Vanden Bosch and Cliff Avril headed elsewhere, but that also could create an opportunity for an upgrade. Ansah is raw in terms of football skills, but he can develop into an explosive pass-rusher in that scheme, with strength to hold up against the run.

Free-agency factor: The Lions don't have the cap space to throw major dollars around, so they need to get the best player available at defensive end, cornerback or at offensive tackle. I don't think free agency will have a big impact on this pick.

6
Dion Jordan
Cleveland Browns (5-11)

COLLEGE: Oregon
AGE: 23
HT: 6-6
WT: 248
POS: OLB
cle.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: The Browns had one of the worst pass rushes in the league last year, even with Jabaal Sheard around. Jordan is a long, explosive pass-rusher with freakish athleticism and an ability to work in space. This is a guy you want to unleash in a 3-4.

Free-agency factor: The Browns could be looking for some pass-rush help, but they won't find a player with better value than Jordan for their system. Yes, the Browns could still make a move for a quarterback, but I'm quite certain they won't use this pick for one if they can't add one via free agency or trade.

7
Geno Smith
Arizona Cardinals (5-11)

COLLEGE: West Virginia
AGE: 22
HT: 6-2
WT: 218
POS: QB
ari.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: What stands out with Smith is his ball placement -- he can be extremely accurate when he's making the right reads, something he did often in 2012. Arm strength is good, not elite, and you can certainly contend that any good QB might put up good numbers in the system he was in, and with the receivers he had. It's not a great value on my board, but it's a major need pick. Smith's pro day is Thursday, and you can be certain the Cardinals will be present.

Free-agency factor: See any big QBs in free agency that offer any more hope than Smith? The Cardinals have locked up Brian Hoyer as an insurance policy, but I'd be surprised if this or their second-round pick isn't a QB.

8
Jarvis Jones *
Buffalo Bills (6-10)

COLLEGE: Georgia
AGE: 23
HT: 6-2
WT: 245
POS: OLB
buf.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: Want to guarantee an improvement in your pass rush? Here's your safe pick. Jones has been exceptional for two years now against elite competition, and demands help when he comes off the edge. He's not Von Miller in terms of his athleticism, but he has the chance to produce at a slightly lower level, making him a good value at this slot.

Free-agency factor: The Bills spent a lot in free agency last year, and won't be as active this year. Quarterback could come into play at this pick because of the lack of options on the market. But if Arizona takes Smith, I don't like the value here, and they'd be better served finding a QB in Round 2.

9
Barkevious Mingo *
New York Jets (6-10)

COLLEGE: LSU
AGE: 22
HT: 6-4
WT: 242
POS: OLB
nyj.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: It's about time the Jets found an athletic difference-maker on the edge for Rex Ryan. The interior of the defensive line should be a strength with Muhammad Wilkerson and Quinton Coples, but they need edge speed. Mingo is a freak athlete, and could become a star with the right coaching.

Free-agency factor: The Jets are pretty tapped out, and won't be able to find a player of Mingo's caliber on the market. Remember, they also need to figure out the future at QB, but I think they'll look at QBs further down the board.

10
Jonathan Cooper
Tennessee Titans (6-10)

COLLEGE: North Carolina
AGE: 23
HT: 6-2
WT: 311
POS: G
ten.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: Adding Cooper just provides an immediate upgrade on the interior of your offensive line. A complete player who gets a great punch and moves really well for his size, he can run block well, pull with ease, move exceptionally well in the screen game and hit moving targets.

Free-agency factor: The Titans are pretty tight against the cap for 2013, so I don't expect free agency to have much impact on the decision they make with this pick.

11
Lane Johnson
San Diego Chargers (7-9)

COLLEGE: Oklahoma
AGE: 22
HT: 6-6
WT: 303
POS: OT
sdg.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: A really good player who is only going to get better, Johnson can become the successor to Jared Gaither at left tackle. Injuries along the offensive line have really weakened the offense over the past couple of seasons, and Philip Rivers has taken a step back because of it. Johnson, a former junior college quarterback, is a pretty gifted athlete for his size, and has been a star during the evaluation process going on now.

Free-agency factor: The Chargers could look at tackle in free agency, but they don't have a lot of money, and can't simply cut Gaither and save money because even if they set him loose, he counts against the cap to the tune of $6 million in 2013. They need to use the draft to upgrade at the position.

12
Cordarrelle Patterson *
Miami Dolphins (7-9)

COLLEGE: Tennessee
AGE: 21
HT: 6-2
WT: 216
POS: WR
mia.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: He needs work as a route-runner, but Patterson is a potential difference-maker in the passing game. He can go up and get it, take the top off defenses and keep safeties deep because of his speed, and he's a big, physical, shifty runner with the ball in his hands.

Free-agency factor: If the Dolphins make a splash move and add a player such as Mike Wallace or Greg Jennings, they could go in another direction at this spot. They certainly could be thinking tackle if Jake Long moves on.

13
Star Lotulelei
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-9)

COLLEGE: Utah
AGE: 23
HT: 6-2
WT: 311
POS: DT
tam.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: This isn't the top need for the Bucs, but assuming everything checks out for Lotulelei on the medical front, he'd be a total steal here and allow Greg Schiano to create depth and make this a potentially dominant run defense going forward.

Free-agency factor: If defensive end Michael Bennett lands elsewhere in free agency, the Bucs will be looking for help at that spot. The pick of Lotulelei here would just be a steal in terms of how the board breaks.

14
Tavon Austin
Carolina Panthers (7-9)

COLLEGE: West Virginia
AGE: 21
HT: 5-8
WT: 174
POS: WR
car.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: Austin can't be used in the same manner as Steve Smith, but he can add another element of explosiveness to a passing attack that could use a player with his exact skills. Smith turns 34 two weeks after the draft, and Cam Newton could use an underneath target with the capability to do some damage after the catch.

Free-agency factor: The Panthers lack the flexibility to add splash in the passing game via free agency, so I don't see the process doing anything to diminish the value Austin could add.

15
Sheldon Richardson *
New Orleans Saints (7-9)

COLLEGE: Missouri
AGE: 24
HT: 6-2
WT: 294
POS: DT
nor.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: The Saints should draft the best defensive player available, starting up front. Richardson is an active defender who can take on multiple blocks at the point of attack. Left one-on-one, he can penetrate and cause problems in the backfield, but he also moves down the line well and makes a lot of tackles from this position.

Free-agency factor: The Saints need to use the draft to get better on defense, because free agency isn't going to be a good option for them with where they are currently against the cap. Free agency shouldn't change the draft strategy.

16
Kenny Vaccaro
St. Louis Rams (7-8-1)

COLLEGE: Texas
AGE: 22
HT: 6-0
WT: 214
POS: S
stl.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: With two first-round picks, the Rams can target maximum value ahead of top need, but Vaccaro offers a check in both boxes. Extremely versatile, Vaccaro is sound in coverage, takes great angles and makes very good reads. But he's a physical player who can assist in run support and be effective near the line of scrimmage. Play Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson four times a year, and versatility at safety can't be overstated.

Free-agency factor: I expect the Rams to be shoppers for skill-position help on offense, where they must do more to help Sam Bradford. But again, with two first-round picks, the draft is a form of cheap free agency as well.

17
Tyler Eifert *
Pittsburgh Steelers (8-8)

COLLEGE: Notre Dame
AGE: 22
HT: 6-6
WT: 250
POS: TE
pit.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: Mike Wallace might be exiting, but in Eifert the Steelers add a different kind of matchup headache for defenses. Eifert has the speed to stretch the seam and also develop routes to the edges, and can't be effectively covered by anybody. He's too tall for corners and safeties, too fast for linebackers.

Free-agency factor: The Steelers need to make tough decisions regarding their cap on defense (we've already seen it with James Harrison), so they also could look at a good young pass-rusher here. Safety, D-line and outside linebacker are all positions they could consider.

18
Chance Warmack
Dallas Cowboys (8-8)

COLLEGE: Alabama
AGE: 21
HT: 6-2
WT: 314
POS: G
dal.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: Sticking with this pick from the previous mock, Warmack is an immediate upgrade on the interior of the offensive line. The ceiling of a Pro Bowl guard, Warmack is an absolute plow in the run game, and has very good instincts as a pass-blocker, picking up stunts and blitzes extremely well.

Free-agency factor: The Cowboys would have to be creative financially to find an offensive lineman with Warmack's talent on the open market, so this isn't a pick I think will shift based on buying season.

19
Manti Te'o
New York Giants (9-7)

COLLEGE: Notre Dame
AGE: 22
HT: 6-1
WT: 241
POS: LB
nyg.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: The Giants could use an upgrade at middle linebacker, and Te'o offers a pick-and-play upgrade. Say what you want about his 40 time, when you roll the tape you see a guy that has football speed because he makes reads at a faster rate than so many others.

Free-agency factor: There really isn't a much on the market at this position, and this is a draft slot where the Giants can target a middle linebacker and expect a Week 1 starter.

20
D.J. Fluker *
Chicago Bears (10-6)

COLLEGE: Alabama
AGE: 21
HT: 6-5
WT: 339
POS: OT
chi.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: I also can see wide receiver as a possible fit here, but Fluker is a good fit and a good value on the board. A dominant right tackle, he has arms that work like hydraulics, and what you get is a decent pass-blocker but an absolute mauler in the run game. The Bears don't just need protection, they need more push in the run, and Fluker can provide some.

Free-agency factor: Phil Emery should be willing to write a check if he can add some offensive line help in free agency, and that could play into what the Bears do with this pick. But even if they add a good tackle, I don't think it eliminates the possibility they draft one.

21
Alec Ogletree *
Cincinnati Bengals (10-6)

COLLEGE: Georgia
AGE: 21
HT: 6-2
WT: 242
POS: LB
cin.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: Last year the Bengals hit a home run when Marvin Lewis pushed to bring in a linebacker with some very good tape but a few character questions. Vontaze Burfict was a value home run. Ogletree has some of the best tape in this draft, and can be an immediate upgrade over what the Bengals got last year from Rey Maualuga.

Free-agency factor: I can see the Bengals looking at another wide receiver in free agency, and they also may have to replace Andre Smith, so what happens this week and next on the market could certainly shift the direction of this pick.

22
Justin Hunter *
St. Louis Rams (from WAS) (7-8-1)

COLLEGE: Tennessee
AGE: 21
HT: 6-4
WT: 196
POS: WR
stl.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: Even if the Rams land a wide receiver in free agency, they should be looking for some young talent at the position in the draft. Hunter has size, speed and creates a home run threat on the edge. He's got some wiggle, given his height, and can create separation with his feet outside of simply running away from people. Where Hunter must get better is in the ability to deal with physical defenders; he's not very strong, which could make press coverage a problem at the next level. He's just not a very physical player yet.

Free-agency factor: The Rams could either keep or lose the services of one or both of Brandon Gibson and Danny Amendola. Again, they also could add a pass-catcher, but I think they'll draft one regardless.

23
Keenan Allen
Minnesota Vikings (10-6)

COLLEGE: California
AGE: 20
HT: 6-2
WT: 206
POS: WR
min.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: The Vikings now very much need a wide receiver after the Harvin trade, and in Allen they get maybe the safest projection on the board at the position. Allen just has a ton of polish, with great hands and an ability not only to create space but also to find it. He works back to the ball and can run after the catch. This kid would have been a star at safety but is still just 20 years old and already plays with veteran chops at wide receiver. Line him up all over.

Free-agency factor: Even if the Vikings go out and get a wide receiver in free agency, I'm not sure they still don't want to add some assurances in the passing game. Think of it this way: If they lose Harvin but get a player like Allen and a good free agent at wide receiver, will you really think the trade was such a hit to their potential? I won't.

24
Menelik Watson *
Indianapolis Colts (11-5)

COLLEGE: Florida St.
AGE: 24
HT: 6-5
WT: 310
POS: OT
ind.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: Whether he ends up at left tackle, right tackle or even as a potentially dominant guard, Watson has a high ceiling and the Colts have to get better along the offensive line. The franchise has arrived at quarterback -- time to protect him.

Free-agency factor: The Colts could make a run at offensive line help in free agency, which could shift this pick to defense. But if they don't, protecting Andrew Luck has to be a priority.

25
Sylvester Williams
Minnesota Vikings (10-6) (from Seattle)

COLLEGE: North Carolina
AGE: 24
HT: 6-3
WT: 313
POS: DT
min.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: The Vikings are old on the defensive line, both inside and on the edges, and while it's not a major need in terms of what they produced on the line in 2012, it could be one soon. Williams is a mature, powerful player who can contribute immediately.

Free-agency factor: By securing a pass-catcher with their first pick, they can help reduce the age question on the defensive line here. You figure wide receiver will be a bigger focus in free agency than the D-line, so they can take advantage of a deep draft at defensive tackle.

26
Eddie Lacy *
Green Bay Packers (11-5)

COLLEGE: Alabama
AGE: 22
HT: 5-11
WT: 231
POS: RB
gnb.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: The Packers have lacked a workhorse with any explosiveness at running back, and that's what Lacy offers. Yes, he ran behind a great line, but he's a great combination of power and open-field shiftiness. He's the guy in this class who can run with power but also break off some big runs. He also catches the ball well.

Free-agency factor: You're not going to spend big money for a running back in free agency, and the market doesn't offer much anyway. Even if the Packers add a cheap veteran at running back they could still make this pick.

27
DeAndre Hopkins *
Houston Texans (12-4)

COLLEGE: Clemson
AGE: 20
HT: 6-1
WT: 214
POS: WR
hou.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: Andre Johnson is now officially old by the standards of the position, and although effective, he could use some help. In Hopkins, the Texans add a player with strong hands in traffic, big-time explosiveness after the catch and an ability to create space both underneath and over the top because he has great speed and is able to get defenders to bite on fakes. Big-play potential for Houston's offense.

Free-agency factor: The Texans don't have the cap space to be a major player in free agency, so pass-catching help is likely coming via the draft. Here's your fit.

28
Desmond Trufant
Denver Broncos (13-3)

COLLEGE: Washington
AGE: 22
HT: 6-0
WT: 190
POS: CB
den.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: Champ Bailey may be good when he's 50 at this rate, but the Broncos could still use another corner, and Trufant is an experienced player who can help immediately because he can mirror receivers both on the edges and in the slot. He utilizes great footwork, has underrated ball skills and can turn and run with anybody.

Free-agency factor: The Broncos are built to win now, and can't spend much in free agency at cornerback, where there just isn't much value to be found. I can see them adding a pass-rusher.

29
Xavier Rhodes *
New England Patriots (12-4)

COLLEGE: Florida St.
AGE: 22
HT: 6-1
WT: 210
POS: CB
nwe.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: Aqib Talib probably is headed elsewhere, and corner again becomes a need for the Patriots. Rhodes draws some split opinions, but where he really excels is as a press corner who can exert his physical will on a receiver. He can really mirror guys, and uses his hands well. He's not great against the run, but the Patriots need another guy who can cover, and that's Rhodes.

Free-agency factor: The Patriots have some decisions to make on the offensive line, and they also could be in play for a wide receiver. If they do add a cornerback in free agency they could shift the thinking with this pick. I also think they should add a safety in the draft and there are some good ones available at this slot.

30
Bjoern Werner *
Atlanta Falcons (13-3)

COLLEGE: Florida St.
AGE: 22
HT: 6-3
WT: 266
POS: DE
atl.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: John Abraham was released, and this pass-rush looks pretty bleak without an addition. Werner's stock has taken a recent hit, but he was extremely productive at Florida State as a pass-rusher and can step into a 4-3 ready to contribute. The key for him will be whether he continues to develop and adds wrinkles to his repertoire because he was late to football. But Atlanta needs a pass-rusher, period.

Free-agency factor: The Falcons don't have a lot of flexibility but could be in the market for a 4-3 defensive end. If they can add one, however, they still might want to draft one. Cornerback is also spot they need to look for value, and if Rhodes doesn't go to New England, he could land here.

31
Datone Jones
San Francisco 49ers (11-4-1)

COLLEGE: UCLA
AGE: 22
HT: 6-4
WT: 283
POS: DE
sfo.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: Justin Smith will be 34 in September, and the 49ers need to think about who could take over for him long term, and spell him in the interim. Jones can provide an interior pass-rushing presence. He gets a great burst, and knows how to take on blocks, use leverage and find seams.

Free-agency factor: This roster is too loaded for the 49ers to make significant moves in free agency. They also have a boatload of draft picks and could be active in moving around, trying to maximize picks or even moving way up on the board.

32
Matt Elam *
Baltimore Ravens (10-6)

COLLEGE: Florida
AGE: 21
HT: 5-10
WT: 208
POS: S
bal.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Pick analysis: We know they need to find a young safety, and Elam would be a great fit. Not a true center fielder, he likes to play near the line of scrimmage and use his instincts to help blow up plays. He covers the slot well, and has pretty good speed to run with all but the fastest wide receivers. Won't be a liability in coverage, and he has good skills as a blitzer, too.

Free-agency factor: The Ravens need to shore up some holes on defense via free agency, so you could see them going with a safety, an interior linebacker or a pass-rusher here depending on what happens over the next couple of weeks.

Josh's post FA rush mock draft Version 3.0

1) Kansas City Chiefs - Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M

I don't forsee Branden Albert staying with the Chiefs at the money he's going to want. So the Chiefs resupply their line with this stud and grab a QB later.

2)Jacksonville Jaguars - Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan

You can't **** up this early in the draft, it can mean another decade of garbage for your franchise. So they go safe and grab who some are calling a possible 1st overall pick.

Old Picks: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah & Dion Jordan, DE/OLB, Oregon

3)Oakland Raiders -Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida

Star Lotulelei is dropping like a stone due to his newfound heart condition. Teams have been salivating about Floyd and not to mention, the Raiders are losing a little guy by the name of Richard Seymour. He needs to be replaced. They pass on Geno Smith and help that ailing defense.

Old Pick: Geno Smith, QB, West Virgina

4)Philthadelphia Eagles -Dion Jordan, DE/OLB, Oregon

I originall had De Milliner, but after all the CBs they signed last week I think they look elsewhere for the moment. And you just know Chip would love to reunite with this man beast.

Old Picks: DeMarcus Milliner, CB, Alabama &  Sheldon Richardson, DE/DT, Missouri

5)Detroit Lions -  DeMarcus Milliner , CB, Alabama

While the Eagles go elsewhere the Lions happily scoop this gem up and are a better team because of it.

Old Picks:Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan & Ezekial Ansah, DE/OLB, BYU

6)Cleveland BrownsEzekial Ansah, DE/OLB, BYU

This defense is gonna be DIRTY

Old Picks: Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M & DeMarcus Milliner, CB, Alabama

7)Arizona Cardinals Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma

Yeah this is pretty self explanatory. This O-Line needs vast improvement FAST. The QBs this year are a joke, they'll take a swing at one in the 2nd round.

Old Picks: Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas &  Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan

8)Buffalo Bills - Geno Smith, QB, West Virgina

Now that Fitzmagic is gone, this is a necessity.

Old Picks: Ezekial Ansah, DE, BYU, Bjoern Werner, DE/OLB, Florida State

9)New York Jets - Jarvis Jones, OLB/DE, Georgia

Jets have no pass rush, this guy pass rush good. Injuries are a concern, but I think the Jets take that risk.

Old Picks: Bjoern Werner,DE/OLB, Florida State & Barkevious Mingo, DE/OLB, LSU

10)Tennessee Titans - Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington

The corner play on this team was ATROCIOUS last year. Enter Trufant, this guy hit the lottery in the combine, he's definitely this years Stephon Gilmore. Don't be surprised to see this name early.

Old Pick: Kenny Vaccaro, S, Texas

11)San Diego ChargersChance Warmack,G,Alabama

This O-Line blows, take this guy and at least you can run the ball.

Old Pick: Chance Warmack,G,Alabama(v1) & Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma (v2)

12)Miami Dolphins - Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State

Can you name a current dolphins CB after they lost Sean Smith? Me either. A pick out of necessity.

13)Tampa Bay BuccaneersStar Lotoulelei, DT, Utah

No CB's worth drafting here. If they don't get revis, I wouldnt be surprised to see them trade up to get one. In the mean time they get this mammoth to play next to McCoy and form a new age "williams wall" as it were.

Old Pick: Jonathan Banks, CB, Mississippi St.

14) Carolina PanthersKenny Vaccaro, S, Texas

The Panthers safety play was abysmal last year. They had an asian starter! AN ASIAN SAFETY!!! So they get this stud and look even better.

Old Picks: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida & Star Lotoulelei, DT, Utah

15)New Orleans SaintsBarkevious Mingo, DE/OLB, LSU

The  Saints are moving to a 3-4 and have yet to grab any OLB in FA, this is a necessity.

Old Pick: Barkevious Mingo, DE/OLB, LSU (v1)  & Jarvis Jones, DE/OLB, Georgia (v2)

16)St.Louis Rams - Tavon Austin, WR, West Virgina

Just watch this guy is going top 20, count it.

Old Picks: Jarvis Jones, DE/OLB, Georgia & Chance Warmack, G, Alabama

17)Pittsburgh Steelers - Cordarelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee

I know Nick, you want an ILB. But Im sorry, Antonio Brown and Cotch are not enough. Eman could be gone. I think they go WR and get Ben another weapon.

Old Pick: Manti Te'o, LB, Notre Dame

18)Dallas Cowboys -Jonathan Cooper, G, NC

The cowboys Guard play last year was horrfic. They need to make upgrades ASAP. So they get this guy and keep Romo upright.

Old Picks: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri & Kenny Vaccaro, S, Texas

19) New York Giants - DJ Fluker, OT, Alabama

David "Turnstile" Diehl has seen his days numbered. The Giants need a presence opposite newly resigned Will Beatty. This guy is a mauling run blocker who will lock down the right side of the line for the next decade. I could be very wrong here though. The Giants have a guy by the name of James Brewers who they've been developing for a couple of years now, and if they think he's ready this pick could go in a number of different places.

Other possibilites: Alec Ogeltree, Kevin Minter, Damontre Moore etc. etc.

Old Pick: Alec Ogeltree,LB, Georgia

20)Chicago Bears - Alec Ogeltree, LB, Georgia

Urlacher is on his way out. Welcome his replacement.

Old Picks: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma & Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia

21)Cincinatti Bengals - Menelik Watson, OT, Florida State

This is with the assumption Andre Smith doesn't come back. A new entry to the 1st round, he's starting to get some real favorable reviews.

Old Picks: Kevin Minter, LB, LSU & Alec Ogletree, LB, Georgia

22)St.Louis Rams - Matt Elam, S, Florida

They need better safety play. This guy will be awesome I can feel it.

Old Pick: Cordarelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee

23)Minnesota Vikings - Keenan Allen, WR, Cal

They lost Percy, but gained Greg. I think they get this guy and actually have a pretty fearsome WR corps.

Old Pick: Jonathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State

24)Indianapolis Colts - John Jenkins, DT, Georgia

The offense is set, now they need to get that defense in order. It's been far too many years where teams have been able to run the ball at will on the Colts. With Chuckstrong back, they look to put a stop to that with this behemouth.

25)Minnesota Vikings  - Kevin Minter, LB, LSU

Their LBer's outside of Chad Greenway are horrid. This guy steps in and plays for the next decade.

26)Green Bay Packers - Eddie Lacy, RB, Alabama

The Pack need to run the ball. They get this workhorse back to start doing that. Ced Benson aint gonna cut it.

27)Houston Texans - DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Clemson

Andre is the man, no question. But still after all these years you'd think they'd of found someone who can take advantage of his double teams. Hopefully this guy steps up.

Old Picks: Keenan Allen, WR, Cal & Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU

28)Denver BroncosGiovani Bernard, RB, North Carolina

They'd really like to go secondary here, but theres no one really worth the pick. Instead they get Willis' replacement. I know Knowshon looked good to end the year, but do you really want to rely on him?

Old Pick: Desmond Trufant,CB, Washington

29)New England Patriots - Kwann Short, DT, Purdue

The future Vince Wilfork.

Old Pick: Matt Elam, S, Florida

30)Atlanta Falcons - Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M

They cut Ray Edwards midway through the year and didn't really have a replacement. John Abraham is a gone as well. They pick up this studly DE and are happy he fell this far.

Old Pick: Alex Okafor, DE, Texas

31)San Francisco 49ers - Eric Reid, S, LSU

Dashon Goldson walked this offseason, so they replace him and it's like no one even left.

32)Baltimore Ravens - Terrance Williams, WR, Baylor

Anquan is gone. And I don't know about you but Pitta isn't a WR2...

dont love the steelers pick but i think this is by far the closest mock draft from top to bottom that youve done. would rather have patterson than teo ;)

im not stuck on ILB in the first especially now that they resigned foote for a stop gap. i really wouldnt mind tyler eifert or one of the pass rushers if theyre still there although i really think jason worilds is gonna be a monster. cb (trufant) and OG is an option too and if vaccaro is still around thats a great pick. i really dont want a WR thou unless sanders leaves.

all in all i think and hope if the steelers can find someone to trade back with they will. then they can pick up eifert or ertz and another pick or two.

dammit the steelers have so many holes i have no idea what theyre gonna do.

good stuff josh

cards are ready to roll with drew stanton apparently. and yeah jordan over JJ for sure.

josh, why is that out of the question? they lost boss last year ago then high and tight this year. whos the starter? i wouldnt mind the steelers getting eifert at all. i like patterson too. even with cooper, vaccaro and JJ still on the board.

i really like this one. best overall ive seen so far

1chiefs_45.gifOT Luke Joeckel Texas A&M Jr. 6-6 306 The Chiefs cut ties with Eric Winson and have Branden Albert locked up for only 2013 via the franchise tag, so going the safe route with either Joeckel or the draft's other top-notch offensive tackle, Central Michigan's Eric Fisher, is still viewed as very much the smart play for Andy Reid's and John Dorsey's historic first pick in Kansas City. As for a trade partner, the Chiefs aren't holding their breath waiting for the phone to ring. It continues to look like the wrong year, and the wrong draft class on that front. The cross-state Rams could tell Kansas City a little something about timing being everything when it comes to enticing a trade.

2jaguars_45.gifQB Geno Smith West Virginia Sr. 6-2 218 I know all the reasons the Jaguars won't take a quarterback this high: They're determined to give 2011 first-rounder Blaine Gabbert one final shot; they're too desperate for help with their pass rush (Dion Jordan?) or at cornerback (Dee Milliner?); and the No. 2 slot is just too high for Smith's grade, even if his post-pro day momentum continues to build. So Jacksonville's interest is all a smokescreen, designed to prompt someone like Oakland or Buffalo to trade up. I know all that, and still I'm going with Smith to the Jags, at least for the time being. Why? Because quality quarterbacks get pushed up and see their stock rise as the draft grows near. It's the law of the NFL, and this league is all about first-round quarterbacks these days. The last time we didn't have a quarterback go in the top two picks was 2008, when Atlanta chose Matt Ryan third overall.

3raiders_45.gifDT Sharrif Floyd Florida Jr. 6-3 297 If I don't give Geno Smith to the No. 2 Jaguars in some subsequent mock, I'll probably give him to the quarterback-needy Raiders, for most of the same reasons I just enumerated above. But with Smith unavailable, the disruptive and athletically gifted Floyd looks like a lock for an Oakland team that needs a play-making presence in the middle of its defensive line.

4eagles_45.gifOLB Dion Jordan Oregon Sr. 6-6 248 Chip Kelly got a little vague last week at the NFL annual meeting when I asked him how you get a whole new team to practice at the extreme up-tempo pace he prefers. But I suppose having a talented former Duck like Jordan around to help set an example on defense would prove useful. Especially if he happens to be an ideal upgrade for an Eagles pass rush and a ready-made cog to help Philly in its transition to a 3-4 defense.

5lions_45.gifOT Eric Fisher Central Michigan Sr. 6-7 306 With veteran offensive tackle Jeff Backus having called it a career since our most recent mock, I'm even more convinced the Lions will take the home-state product Fisher, who some consider every bit as good as, if not better than our projected No. 1 pick, Luke Joeckel.

6browns_45.gifCB Dee Milliner Alabama Jr. 6-0 201 Milliner carries a consensus top-five grade, so the No. 6 Browns would be living right if he falls to them. Fielding a cornerback tandem of Joe Haden and Milliner -- both ex-SEC standouts -- would be a great hand-in-glove complement for the improved pass rush the Browns just acquired in free agency.

7cardinals_45.gifG Chance Warmack Alabama Sr. 6-2 317 Agree or disagree with the idea of Drew Stanton as the team's starter, the Cardinals aren't in the first-round quarterback market, and they're deeper on the defensive line after signing Frostee Rucker and Matt Shaughnessy in free agency. That points me in the direction of the offensive line, but not at Oklahoma tackle Lane Johnson this time around. Though some have leap-frogged North Carolina guard Jonathan Cooper over Warmack, I don't happen to be in that crowd at the moment.

8bills_45.gifQB Matt Barkley USC Sr. 6-2 227 It didn't take listening in on Buddy Nix's phone calls or sitting with Doug Marrone at breakfast last week in Phoenix to figure out the Bills are the most quarterback-desperate team in the NFL. Just check the depth chart: Tarvaris Jackson and Aaron Corp. Barkley will be on the rise if he turns in an impressive Pro Day showing Wednesday at USC, with the priority being he flashes the necessary arm strength scouts need to see. The Bills might wish they could wait until the second round to find their quarterback, and Syracuse's Ryan Nassib would be their hoped-for target in that case, but I just don't believe Buffalo has that luxury.

9jets_45.gifDE Ziggy Ansah BYU Sr. 6-5 271 The Jets have some compelling options in their quest to juice up the pass rush, with LSU DE-OLB Barkevious Mingo and Georgia OLB Jarvis Jones still on the board. But Ansah has the highest upside, and if the Jets are convinced they can find a spot for him in their 3-4 formation, his potential might be too tempting to pass on. Arguing against this pick, however, is the reality of Rex Ryan's situation in 2013. Can the need-to-win-now Jets head coach take a first-round selection who might require some patience and development?

10titans_45.gifDT Star Lotulelei Utah Sr. 6-3 320 With concerns about Lotulelei's heart condition seemingly having subsided (easy for me to say, right?), a solid Pro Day showing has put him back in play for a top 10 slot. The Titans addressed their biggest need at guard with the Andy Levitre signing in free agency, now they can beef up at defensive line with the addition of the athletic and versatile former Ute. Cornerback is the other direction that makes sense, with Florida State's Xavier Rhodes offering prototypical NFL size.

11chargers_45.gifOT Lane Johnson Oklahoma Jr. 6-6 303 The Chargers would be fortunate to address their need at offensive tackle with Johnson, because he's the third of the three elite prospects at that position in this round, and may not last until No. 11. A choice between starting King Dunlap or Johnson at left tackle is really no choice at all. Ask the Eagles about this one.

12dolphins_45.gifCB Xavier Rhodes Florida State Jr. 6-2 210 The Dolphins gave their fans the sizzle they clamored for in free agency, but they did lose cornerback Sean Smith and must find his replacement near the top of this draft. Rhodes is the second-rated cover man in this draft, and scouts love the presence he brings at 6-foot-2, 210 pounds.

13buccaneers_45.gifDE Bjoern Werner Florida State Jr. 6-3 266 I still think the Darrelle Revis trade happens at some point before the picking starts, and that will remove cornerback as the position of greatest need from the Bucs draft board. But in this scenario, with the top two cornerbacks and three highest-rated offensive tackles already chosen, I'm sticking Werner as the logical candidate to replace 4-3 defensive end Michael Bennett, who left for Seattle in free agency.

14panthers_45.gifDT Sheldon Richardson Missouri Jr. 6-2 294 Richardson has looked pegged for the Panthers for a while now, because the interior of their defensive line needs an upgrade and his disruptive style of play would address that issue nicely. Receiver is the other potential need to be mindful of, and with West Virginia's Tavon Austin and Tennessee's Cordarelle Patterson still on the board, it may at least give Carolina something to think about.

15saints_45.gifOLB-DE Barkevious Mingo LSU Jr. 6-4 241 In our first round, the Saints have their choice between pass-rushing outside linebackers who have an SEC track record of production: Mingo or Georgia's Jarvis Jones. Both should come off the board in the teens, but we'll give the Saints and new defensive coordinator Rob Ryan the former LSU Tiger to hasten New Orleans' switch to the 3-4 front.

16rams_45.gifWR Tavon Austin West Virginia Sr. 5-9 174 I've had the play-maker extraordinaire Austin going to the Rams at No. 22, but I'm not sure St. Louis can wait that long to nab him. With the loss of free-agent receiver Danny Amendola, the Rams need someone who can cause matchup problems for the talented secondaries in the NFC West. Austin on the fast track in St. Louis could be fun, not to mention make Sam Bradford a better quarterback.

17steelers_45.gifWR Cordarelle Patterson Tennessee Jr. 6-2 216 The Steelers could make good use of safety Kenny Vaccaro of Texas or outside linebacker Jarvis Jones, but with Mike Wallace taking his talents to South Beach (wonder what the shelf life of that particularly self-absorbed phrase will be?), the Steelers might find their gaze cast in the direction of Patterson, in the hopes that he can run under a Ben Roethlisberger bomb or seven.

18cowboys_45.gifG Jonathan Cooper North Carolina Sr. 6-2 311 Texas safety Kenny Vaccaro, Alabama offensive tackle D.J. Fluker or one of the remaining first-round defensive tackles all would make sense based on need. But Cooper is likely to be the highest rated player remaining on the board in this scenario, and the Dallas offensive line could use a stud about now.

19giants_45.gifTE Tyler Eifert Notre Dame Sr. 6-5 250 The Giants are always a threat to add to their defense in the first round, but Eifert is the draft's top-rated tight end and everybody needs at least two quality pass catchers at that position in today's NFL. The Brandon Myers one-year deal aside, New York is one of the most likely teams to target the Golden Domer, given that Martellus Bennett left for Chicago.

20bears_45.gifOLB Jarvis Jones Georgia Jr. 6-2 245 Jones finally finds his new home, and Chicago is never a bad place to play defense. Even with D.J. Williams and James Anderson joining the aging Lance Briggs to form the Bears' new linebacking corps, there's still room for a play-maker like Jones (14.5 sacks last season) in Chicago's defensive front seven. Jones is a top-10 talent who will last into the second 10 due to the concerns about a diagnosis of spinal stenosis.

21bengals_45.gifOT D.J. Fluker Alabama Sr. 6-5 339 Things look fairly straightforward for the Bengals. If they don't re-sign free agent Andre Smith, who hasn't exactly been snapped up during his stint on the market, then they replace him by targeting another ex-Alabama offensive right tackle. If Smith returns to Cincinnati, the Bengals could focus on Texas safety Kenny Vaccaro or a climber like Kansas State outside linebacker Arthur Brown.

22rams_45.gifS Kenny Vaccaro Texas Sr. 6-0 214(From Washington). Well, look at that. The Rams get the same two players I gave them in my mock 2.0, but in reverse order: Mountaineers jitterbug receiver Tavon Austin at No. 16 and Vaccaro at 22. St. Louis probably doesn't care about who goes first and who goes second, as long as both sides of the ball get a top-22 injection of talent. The Rams are one more good draft away from starting to get really interesting again.

23vikings_45.gifDT Sylvester Williams North Carolina Sr. 6-3 313 It's kind of a Vikings tradition to have a big guy (or two) named Williams in the middle of their defensive front. Though there are still needs at receiver and cornerback, you don't pass on quality defensive linemen, especially when defensive tackle Kevin Williams is probably nearing the end of what has been a stellar run in Minnesota.

24colts_45.gifDE Datone Jones Florida State Sr. 6-3 283 The Colts addressed so many needs in free agency it's hard to find an area of the roster that wasn't impacted by one of their March additions. But beside the signing of nose tackle Aubrayo Franklin and defensive end Ricky-Jean Francois, Indy could still use another defensive end as it continues its transition to a 3-4 formation. Jones is a versatile talent who has the ideal body type (tall and powerful) for a 3-4 end. And his name is short and sweet enough for owner Jim Irsay to quickly tweet it, just before turning in the pick.

25vikings_45.gifLB Manti Te'o Notre Dame Sr. 6-1 241(From Seattle). There's often a rhythm to the draft season. If a prospect swoons early enough in the court of scouting opinion, he can be in luck, in that he has time to recover as the draft nears. I think that's where Te'o happens to be, even though many teams still consider him a second-round talent in light of his good but not but decisive Pro Day showing on Tuesday. For now, I'm moving him back into the first round. The Vikings fit the bill, with two first-round picks, a penchant for picking Irish stars, and some need at linebacker.

26packers_45.gifS Matt Elam Florida Jr. 5-9 208 Okay, Packers fans, I'm off the running back at No. 26. For now. There are enough other pressing concerns, with the available talent to match. Like at safety, where Elam is known for his propensity to jack up any ballcarrier who comes into his territory. The Packers will select a tight end and a runner this year, but not in this here first-round mock.

27texans_45.gifWR Keenan Allen Cal Jr. 6-2 206 About 94 percent of mock-dom has the Texans taking a first-round receiver, so of course, it's probably wrong. But the need to add a threat opposite Andre Johnson is painfully obvious, and Allen is the highest-rated receiver left on the board. Sometimes you can't over-think these things.

28broncos_45.gifDE Tank Carradine Florida State Sr. 6-4 276 In light of the Elvis Dumervil plot twist, the Broncos checking out the defensive end market stands to reason. Carradine is an intriguing possibility. After his November ACL injury, the jury is still out on him, at least until he shows how much mobility he has recovered in the weeks just before the draft. If the Broncos can live without much early impact from him this season, he could wind up being a steal at the bottom of the round.

29patriots_45.gifCB D.J. Hayden Houston Sr. 5-11 191 There's need for either a cornerback or a receiver for the Patriots, and Hayden's name heated up last week after he ran a 4.40 40 at the Cougars Pro Day. Hayden still has some medical hurdles to clear after a freakish injury involving internal bleeding last November, but his stock is definitely on the upswing. He has NFL size, a knack for finding the football, and physical, aggressive cover skills that translate well to the pro game.

30falcons_45.gifCB Desmond Trufant Washington Sr. 5-11 190 Help for the pass rush is a perennial need in Atlanta, but you can't have enough depth at cornerback in a division where Drew Brees and Cam Newton make their home. Trufant has solid bottom-of-the-round value and his last name is fairly well-trusted in terms of NFL coverage men.

3149ers_45.gifDE Margus Hunt SMU Sr. 6-8 277 I'm sticking with Hunt to the 49ers, because San Francisco's defensive line depth took a meaningful hit during free agency and veteran 3-4 end Justin Smith is approaching the final stages of his underrated career. Hunt has the combination of size, strength and speed to handle the five-technique defensive end assignment.

32ravens_45.gifLB Alec Ogletree Georgia Jr. 6-2 242 The Ravens have never been wary of prospects with maturity issues, believing their locker room has the veteran leadership to keep the youngsters in line. Will that still be the verdict with Ray Lewis retired? I suspect so. Ogletree is simply too athletic and too talented to not make the first round, and Baltimore's need at inside linebacker is great with both Lewis and Dannell Ellerbe having moved on.

i'm only gonna judge the top 10 cuz thats the only things that going to be remotly close at this point a month away, and i agree i like it.  barkley and smith i think are almost locks for the top 10 once draft day gets closer.  i dont think they go to those teams (jags, bills) but someone is gonna trade up and get one like the cardinals.  theres no way the cards go into the season with skelton and orloski as their 2 qbs.  same with the bills unless they think tjack is the answer which i doubt they do.

as for what everyone really cares about, the eagles, i would be really happy with jordan. i've said from day 1 before andy was fired i wanted a dominate 3-4 outside lb who can rush the qb and i thought that guy was jarvis jones but it now looks like that person is jordan.  i think its between him and eric fisher who the eagles go with.

Giants just don't value the TE that much. None the less they drafted a guy last year in round 4 who they're calling the "JPP of TE's" They have the best TE's coach in the league, they create TE's (Jake Ballard anyone?) not draft them. 1st round will either be DL/OL/LB i'll put a lot of money on that.

Analysis: The Eagles have addressed a lot of other needs already this offseason, especially in terms of finding good fits along the front seven in their new 3-4 scheme. Many personnel evaluators in the NFL think Fisher is just as good as -- if not slightly better than -- Joeckel, and Philadelphia would get one of the premier players in this class. Both Jason Peters and Todd Herremans return from injury this season, but there is no guarantee they will remain healthy, and Fisher's movement skills make him a good fit in the up-tempo scheme new head coach Chip Kelly will install.

its tough to tell how interested they are in him, but the eagles visited him in WVU and now had him over for a visit.  hes the top qb on the market so they are doing their due dilgience or putting up a serious smoke screen for a team to trade up.

Scenario 1: Jones is a nice fit in the Steelers' scheme, which could send him after the quarterback without asking him to do more than he's capable of in other areas.
Scenario 2: Pittsburgh could opt for a playmaker on the outside, likely Patterson if he were available, to offset the loss of Mike Wallace to Miami.
Scenario 3: The Steelers are in the unusual position for them of having multiple needs to fill. They could also use help at running back, defensive line, cornerback, and perhaps tight end with red zone threat Heath Miller coming off a knee injury.
Stats and Info: The only tight end targeted in the end zone more often than Miller (11) last season was Rob Gronkowski (13). Notre Dame TE Tyler Eifert was targeted 15 times in the end zone last season, nine more than any other Fighting Irish player.

COLLEGE: Alabama
AGE: 21
HT: 6-4½
WT: 339
POS: OT

Scenario 1: The Giants aren't known for taking offensive linemen early, but Fluker would offer a boost up front with his balance, footwork and mauling presence in the running game.
Scenario 2: There is a need for more athleticism and cover skills at linebacker, and Georgia ILB Alec Ogletree could offer that if the Giants were to get comfortable with some of his off-field baggage.
Scenario 3: New York has some uncertainty at corner, and while Washington CB Desmond Trufant isn't the best in run support, he has the cover skills to contribute right away and already has a professional attitude.
Stats and Info: No team allowed a higher completion percentage or more yards per attempt last season on throws more than 10 yards downfield than the Giants. Trufant's 4.38-second 40-yard dash time was third best among defensive back prospects.

mcshays 3-scenario mock draft

4
COLLEGE: Utah
AGE: 23
HT: 6-2½
WT: 311
POS: DT
phi.png?w=60&h=60&transparent=true

Scenario 1: Of all the teams in the top five overall, the Eagles did the best job in free agency and are most free to take the best available player for their schemes. The D-line isn't a pressing need, but Lotulelei is a top-five talent and would give the Eagles another solid 3-4 end and some flexibility in their new 3-4 hybrid scheme.
Scenario 2: With one of the top two offensive tackles available -- in this case Eric Fisher -- that position comes into play. Both Jason Peters and Todd Herremans are coming off injuries, and taking Fisher would allow Herremans to bump inside to guard.
Scenario 3: New coach Chip Kelly could opt for Geno Smith, who fits what Kelly wants to do in terms of making quick decisions, spreading the ball around and mixing in the zone-read option.
Stats and Info: The Eagles' offensive line allowed 120 sacks or tackles for loss last year, the most in the league. Fisher anchored a Central Michigan line that allowed 78 last season, or eight fewer than Alabama's well-publicized offensive line, albeit against lesser competition.

talk about a pot head:

Tyrann Mathieu - DB - Player

An anonymous NFL assistant coach tells USA Today LSU CB Tyrann Mathieu admitted to failing at least 10 drug tests in college.

Specifically, Mathieu reportedly said he "quit counting" at 10. It's a staggering number, but Mathieu swears he's moved on, and been drug-free since October. He just needs one team to believe him. Mathieu isn't expected to come off the board before the third round.

i personally would be surprised if he was still on the board past round 3.  nfl teams dont care about smoking weed in college as long as it has stopped now

it was a joke

btw ryan clark, brent keisel, larry foote, ike taylor, charlie batch, jerricho cotchery... all these guys are great leaders and dont have arrest records. steelers have plenty of leaders thats why im not entertaining the idea

also, wtf does size have to do with being a leader? hahah

when u go to battle and are on the field and its a close game in the 4th quarter your going to listen to your 6'7 320lb RT who is yelling at you to step it up and is battling on the field every play as opposed to your 39 year old 3rd string qb who is riding the bench for the 5th straight year.

star qb's and big guys lead.

Okay who's team has the best "leaders" (this is an insanely dumb argument.)

Eagles: Herremans, Peters, Ryans, T. Cole

Steelers: Clark, Big Ben, Ike Taylor, Brett Kiesel

Giants: Eli, Tuck, Antrel Rolle, Chris Snee

fish ur not gonna convince me that leadership takes a team from 12-4 to 8-8. sorry not gonna happen. not last season, not this season, not next season.

if u wanna talk injuries, thats another story

wouldnt mind getting a tackle.  after seeing injuries destroy our season last year drafting a RT would strengthen 2 positions, RT and RG with herrmans moving back inside.  jason peters is already back at full speed so our line would go from one of the worst in the league to a strength.  if i had it my way i would want an impact olb (like von miller or aldon smith) but it doesnt seem like one is out there at #4 so RT would be fine with me.
