"So they lined up and took off, and Vick didn’t just beat McCoy. Vick smoked McCoy by roughly five yards over a 40-yard distance, and their teammates went nuts."
-very surprised with the tebow pats signing. didnt think the pats would want that distraction for a 3rd string qb and its not like there going to put him any wildcat situations and take brady off the field. wouldnt surprise me if he didnt make the 53 man squad.
-ravens cut another vet in leach. i think he would fit in well with the steelers, would u approve of that move nick?
ya i wasnt thrilled it was the bengals again, only because they did them already. its not so much about the personailties, because hard knocks will find some and make story lines out of nobodys (think last year with that undrafted TE who said "AS UGE.") so i'm not worried about that, but i like seeing how the coaches act behind the scence which is why the jets and rex ryans year was so good. we've already seen marvin lewis twice (once with the ravens in 2001) and he is ok just not great. i would rather see a new team and coaching staff and how they operate, but most teams just dont want the cameras and distractions so it only leaves a few teams as options.
Yeah I think I'd agree with your list actually... You could argue wilson and kap at 2 and 3, but either answer would be right. RG3 is a knee injury waiting to happen, no thanks.

i'll give it to u nick, u were right about cj spiller over best....wait the argument wasnt who would have a better carrer at all! it was which of those 2 rookie would have the better FANTASY season for THAT year. if i remember correctly, javid had some monster games (including week 2 vs my eagles) while u cut spiller half way through the year because he was 3rd string. silly me thinking u won an argument!
damn i thought that was ask the professor not ask the mortage accountant. I must have had the wrong site! should i have just proposed a Pro Bowl change like eveyone else who writes in this time of year. Of course I dont think thats the better option but like half the playoffs team last year had a QB in their first contract including 2 of the 4 conference championship teams. seems like theyre doing pretty well too. either way, it must have been a top-5 question to make the mailbag!
i think PK is amazing in MMQB but its tough to run a whole site especailly with only 3 writers. he says theres only 3 long stories a week im not sure how much content he can fill the site with.
ROFLMMFAO at the eagles best player #71. PFT also had them as like the 28th best team. they better start turning things around!
JK I know they are better than they played last year and these ranks dont mean ****. im excited to see the new offense but i think their defense is the real problem. whats the actual % that foles wins the starting job from vick?
i dont like revis being in the top-10. im glad they got Ben > Flacco right unlike that delusional hack jaworski (i like jaws but putting flacco ahead of brees/ryan/eli and other is crazy).
i think AP should be 2. I like Watt at 3 and atkins at 9. love sherman at 12. the rest of the top-20 isnt bad. its good that they have some defensive players in the top-20 unlike nfln.
thats big making the professors mailbag, i made bill simmons once n it was a great thrill. question wise, u could do better. u really think a team such as the redskins who hasnt had a competant qb in 20 years would just let RG3 walk as hes hitting his prime due to the salary cap? SMH. this is coming from a guy who's team has paid big ben more money than any player in the history of the league and i think that has worked just fine.
as for PK, yea i noticed that as well. i knew for a while he was coming out with a new website so i wonder how much different his writing and stories are going to be now that hes got his own site. simmons for example, writes a lot less now that he overlooks so much (plus all the TV) so hopefully the same doesnt happen with PK.
mortgage banker, get it right. but now that training camp is kicking off im back to my part time job, NFL expert so feel free to ask your questions away via the forum.
in other news, yesterday was the 1st time in a long time i did not get hammered on a sunday n im feeling great today. what i did instead was plow through a breaking bad (season 2) marthon and then the miami dolphins hard knocks had a full 5 hour marthon on nfl network which i watched about 80% of it. watching hard knocks really got me going and i am offically ready to start talking football again.
camp opens for the eagles on thursday (veterans) and i love it that nobody has a clue what is going to take place with chip kellys offense. expect a pre-training camp predictions list from me by the end of the week
yes it is. from the guy who last you brought you the 49ers will miss the playoffs i got another bold prediction this year! i think the ravens will take a big step back. losing leaders (yes nick this is very important) such as ed reed and ray lewis will be tough to replace even though both of these guys are on the downhill. i saw it happen with the eagles when they lost huge douglass, trotter and dawkins, even though they were not the same player once they were not on the filed and in the locker room the defense has never been the same. back to the ravens, this was basically a 9-7 team until they got hot in the playoffs when guys like ed reed started getting healthy, and more importantly ray lewis came back. combine that with losing someone as importnant as boldin on offense and not replacing him n i thnk they struggle with consistency and go something like 8-8, 9-7 and miss the playoffs.
Im actually heading to steelers training camp in latrobe a week from today. its my first time and its the first day in full pads. to say im getting excited about football is a terrential understatement.
i want to go to TC this year esp to see how kellys offense looks but they moved away from Lehigh and are back at their facilities so not as many practice are open to the fans. i do think theres a few open at the stadium and are basically sold out. pretty ridiculous that a practice can be sold out in a 70k stadium
Denver Broncos Pro Bowl linebacker Von Miller is facing a four-game suspension for violating NFL policy, per multiple sources.
The case currently is in the appeals process so it's uncertain whether the suspension ultimately will stand.
The league has a strict confidentiality clause on such cases. If the case works the way it's supposed to, the NFL would only comment if the appeal failed.
But at the very least, Denver will be dealing with another significant issue during training camp. Last week, the team suspended director of player personnel Matt Russell indefinitely without pay and director of pro personnel Tom Heckert for one month without pay for their recent drunken-driving arrests.
If Miller is suspended in Week 1, the Broncos would be facing the defending champion Ravens without the star linebacker and Elvis Dumervil, who was released by Denver this offseason and later signed with Baltimore.
Miller, 24, had 18.5 sacks last season for the Broncos.
The Giants, Steelers, and Eagles all had 3 players on the list
The Giants lead with Eli at number 16, Steelers with Big Ben at 19, and the Eagles all the way down at 71 with LeSean McCoy
The Giants representatives are: Eli, JPP, Cruz
The Steelers representatives are: Big Ben, Troy Polamalu, Maurkice Pouncey
The Eagles representatives are: LeSean McCoy, Evan Mathis, Jason Peters, and Danny Watkins, oh wait sorry he's on the AARP's senior citizens discount list
