It's kinda scary how similar the steelers & giants predicaments are right now, very interested in your thoughts when brain function is back at a normal level.
On another note, how you feeling Fish? You were BOMBED at like 6 yesterday, your texts made no sense whatsoever
ya my bad josh, i was blacked out and very excited after an eagles win and should have my phone taken away from me. actually u know how alcholics need to blow into their car to start it after getting a dui? i need one of them for my phone on gamedays and i think thats going to be my shark tank idea. around about 7pm i probably could have blew a .3 BAC. give me 24 hours as well for a reponse i can barley think straight and yes ive been at work since 9am.
The second the Jets won last night, nearly every person on FB who I'm friends with and is a Jets fan immediately attacked the Giants before patting themselves on the back for a big win.
Jets are no joke, as long as that D stays healthy and Geno doesn't turn the ball over they have the chance to win every game they're in.
WIth that said, Jets fans have an insane complex going on over there.
haha i noticed that as well since i obviously have a lot of friends from high school who are both fans of the jets and giants. the jet fans almost seem more happy that the giants are struggling rather then them doing well, but u never hear about giant fans bragging when the jets are struggling. i cant tell based off fan reaction if their biggest rival is the pats or giants haha.
i think i said it the beggining of the year i didnt think the jets were that bad. they're just in the NY media market where everything is overblown and it made it seem like this was going to be a season from hell when in reality they're just an average team. rex ryan is a great defensive coach and now that they have a qb who doesnt turn over the ball 4 times a game they are in decent shape. they're not gonig to win the division but i think 8-8 is realistic.
I've said it numerous times, Rex is an INCREDIBLE d-coordinator. He's just not a real Head Coach. He literally needs to give someone full autonomy over running the offense for him to be successful. As shown in the past he is very willing to ignore his offense for the sake of his defense. The NFL is a two way street and you can't win one without the other.
It also didn't help that Sporano and Schotty are awful O-Coordinators.
Morningwheg is about average I'd say, but compared to those two he's lightyears ahead of what they can put together (look at the Rams this year & Raiders offensive line)
When reports emerged that Vikings running back Adrian Peterson missed practice and traveled to South Dakota due to a “medical issue involving [a] young family member that likely will be a police matter,” several tipsters linked the news to reports from Sioux Falls of a man named Robert Joseph Patterson charged with aggravated assault and aggravated battery of an infant, who is in critical condition.
TMZ reports that the link indeed exists, and that Peterson’s two-year-old son is in critical condition after being severely beaten, allegedly by Patterson.
Per the report, Peterson’s son suffered severe head injuries.
We continue to wish Adrian Peterson and his family the best as they deal with, if the report is accurate, an unimaginable situation.
its very rare for penalty to be called on the offense when it is a last play situation, esp aganist the home team see golden tates offensive PI last year vs the packers (yes i know replacement refs but still).
we are missing the real topic here and that is:
CONGRATS NICK! Stillers 1ST WIN! had to of been the biggest news of your weekend, how does it feel?
feels amazing!! and you know what else? with the steelers playing the ratbirds, the bengals pulling the first place Lions and the browns getting the packers, theres a very strong possibility the division will look like this on monday:
bungles 4-3
browns 3-4
ratbirds 3-4
steelers 2-4
and the steelers have 4 games against AFCN not including the ravens this weekend and the weakest remaining schedule of any of them. STEELERS ARE GOING TO THE PLAYOFFS!!!!!!
oh and also I got engaged to Danielle... bachelor party here we come.
bucs were 0-4 when we played them and yes big time argument. me and my boy are big time eagle fans and our manager is a big time redskins fan so we pretty much disagree on everything. by the way he talks you would think he thinks kurt cousins is the next tom brady so we always give him **** that he is the next matt flynn or kevin kolb and foles is better than him. now after these past 2 games we have been rubbing it in his face and things have gotten heated this week haha.
ahh i thought it was an active player. i definitly would have guess moss or TO since they each have been on about 5 teams and in multiple divisions.
as for LT...since he played for the chargers and jets you would think it is most likley not an AFC team BUT i'm going with the chargers. i dont think he ever played vs them when he was on the jets.
An offense, hailed at the beginning of the season as transcendent, had trouble transcending midfield on Sunday, piling up three points in a 17-3 home loss to a 4-3 Cowboys team that isn't known for its defense. That's nine straight home defeats for Philadelphia dating back to last season."

"Kelly deserves time to bring in more talent and make his way work, but this isn't Oregon anymore. In Eugene, Kelly had talent advantages on just about every single play. It's easier to spread out a defense and create mismatches when your players are faster and stronger than the other side's. The read option turns a static 11th player (the quarterback) into a weapon much more readily when the 11th defender is a step slow. That doesn't happen in the NFL. Sure, a defense can be confused or tentative when it's not used to a faster pace, but that split-second advantage erodes quickly. The Redskins looked shell-shocked in Week 1, and so did most of those watching the game, but the only two teams the Eagles have beaten since then have a combined zero wins.
Against Peyton Manning (a true football revolutionary), the Eagles got shredded 52-20. The Jaguars scored 19 against the same opponent."
