While the Giants look like dog ****, they've actually been really stout against the run dating back to last year (3.8 ypc avg). Thats my only restraint in starting Ingram over Ellington.

Though in the end I should probably not get cute and play the guy I took in the 3rd round.

$10 was a little aggressive but I needed a solid TE and walker is just ok.  I wanted jake locker but freaking danny stole him from me so now I still don't have a back up qb.

who said I was concerned?  $10 out of 100 isn't a lot for a guy who might become a starter and i'll live without jake locker.  if I really wanted someone I would pull a nick and pay over $50 for him but like you guys said, there was nobody worth over paying for.

you got me.  I told him I wouldn't pick up eli on waivers let alone trade for him.

apparently most of my work league isn't high on keenan allen.  am I missing something about him?  I know he had a tough game on MNF vs Peterson but I think he's a good 2nd tier fantasy wr.

I love him. He had Patrick Peterson on him all night and still managed 40ish yards, it's gonna be another tough go of it this weekend against Seattle. But long term He's a monster.

dammit good pickup josh with kaep. no idea why joe would dump him there had to be someone who wasnt potentially a top 5 qb on his team he could have gotten rid of. im glad you grabbed him and not someone like danny or forster who needed help worse than you did

danny was very bitter last night that nick picked up Moreno.  he is also starting to get very ****y about his team. some quotes included:

"I am ready to start punching Irishmen I'm so mad"

"that d**k bag will rarely start him!"

"it will take a major injury to one of my players to keep me from the championship"

who does this guy think he is?  he has never been in the top 3 since we started the league and know after 1 week is already declaring himself the favorite?  we have a new #1 target to go after boys.

haha whos fault is that that he didnt pick him up? and if he wants him so bad he should have offered me something better than riley cooper.

when it comes down to it, especially when the weather gets cold, his team built on WR is gonna suffer. alshon is already hurt and if bernard misses anytime his RB are going to be worse than the terrible that they already are. julius thomas is no stranger to the injury bug either. starting 3 players from the same team is never a good idea and im not sure how many fantasy teams dalton led to the playoffs last season. not to mention his depth is nada. bye weeks are coming.

sounds like someone was drinking a little bit.

There was 0 chance I was letting Kaep get away from me. I must have changed my bid at least 15 times before last night.

Yea, I literally started at 5 pts and incrementally went up over the past 2 days, I decided I wanted him no matter what. Still have 40 remaining which should keep me in the running if any other decent names come around.

QB is most definitely a question mark right now, I think Romo will be fine, but I will not leave it up to fate if I can't help it. And Rivers could revert easily. Between those 3 I should have no problems now.

I wish it showed what other people bid, ESPN does.

Pretty sure I'm the first person to start 2 different QBs in two weeks who each threw 3 INTs. Yuck.

haha that's bad.

-I had a good week in both my leagues, luckily my move of starting jake locker (vs dallas) over phillip rivers (vs seattle) didn't cost me.  who would have thought rivers would put up those kind of numbers after watching what seattle did to aaron Rodgers and peyton manning?

- what a surprise, one week after danny calls his team stacked and the favorites for this season he goes out and has the worst week out of all 12 people in the league haha.  guess he's not a lock for the finals after all.

-nick, it looks like your undefeated streak will be broken after tonight.  it's been a good run.

what a terrible week for football both personally and as a league.

with all the arrests last week you would think the nfl would be happy to see its product back on the field... then came the injuries. I cant remember the last time there were injuries to so many major offensive players in one week. guess theres only so much throwing more flags can prevent.

I guess the winning steak had to end sometime. 17 games in a row aint bad now lets hope JC injury isnt too serious and things get back on track next week.

LMAO @ danny who was talking all that **** then put up <70 points and lost to erm haha

obviously its an extremely small sample but thus far its been a tough year for top RB's.  here was the first 5 draft picks for almost every league:

McCoy: only 1 game so far but didn't do much (hopefully that will change tonight)

Charles: been terrible and now is hurt.

AP: didn't do much week 1, deactivated week 2 and who know's going forward

Eddy Lacy: Hasn't done sh*t in 2 games and has barley revevied any goal line carries which is extremely frustrating

Forte: hasn't done much in either game.

through 2 weeks the best rb's (most consistent at least) have been lynch, foster and gio Bernard. let's see how long that lasts

true he's been good too.  Alfred morris also. I was just naming RB's who have had 2 good games so far and bell didn't on Thursday.

Bell still had over 100 combined yards. Can't really argue with that.... wish Vereen had that, god Belicheck makes me hate fantasy.

ehh 107 yards isnt bad. hes #3 fantasy RB right now so hes doing fine but i get ur point.

marshall and morris killed it yesterday but it seemed like a lot of the big names didnt perform or got hurt. there are so many different TEs catching passes these days its hard to figure out WRs. RBs are either getting hurt or committied. and can we get rid of kickers already? dan bailey had 19 points thats ridiculous

I'm actually on board with getting rid of kickers.

I also want guys who return punts/kicks to be able to get a TD if they return one (Spiller)

I've also been toying around with the idea of return yardage awarding points.

its always been weird that if a return guy fumbles a return the player loses 2 pts but not the defense, then if he scores he gets nothing and the DST benefits

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, tailback Mark Ingram sustained a hand injury in Sunday’s loss at Cleveland and will miss “about a month.”

i went from jamaal charles, bell, ellington, ingram and moreno to start the season

ellington was reported to miss 4-6 weeks with a foot injury (thank god i doged that bullet)
charles has an ankle sprain which was bad enough for xray and could miss time
moreno will miss 4-8 weeks with a broken elbow
ingram out a month with a broken hand

F me wtf just happened yesterday. now i could be scrambling to find a flex with bye weeks coming up

to top it off danny had the nerve to text me "should have traded me moreno" (he wanted to give me riley cooper)

/not happy

haha, nick I was gonna write that you had one tough day yesterday after hearing the ingram news but you beat me to it!

ryan Mathews also got hurt yesterday, hopefully that will translate into more carries for Donald brown.  new flex starter possibly?

and about Moreno for cooper, I told danny there was no chance in hell nick was gonna accept that and he acted like I was the dumb one.  not sure how many people would trade a #2 wr for a #1 rb who had a great game last week, but I guess that was what he was going for.  he tried telling me Moreno was actually the miamis #2 rb and not the starter, I don't think anyone actually believe that tho

how bad do you think kearns is kicking himself for not keeping foles at $2 and keeping gerhart instead?

not only does gerhart suck, he could have keep foles at $2 and instead of spending biog money on breese, he coulda spent it on a rb since gerhart wasn't even his worst RB this weekend, it was james stark who is 3rd string hahah.

also, great trade paul, sproles for witten?  sproles is an absolute monster in this eagles offense with chip Kelly.

Yeah I didn't get that, foolish on Kearns behalf.

Paul is also not known for getting the better side of trades.

Cruz can't catch a cold.

Jernigan placed on IR.

Randle insanely inconsistent.

Rashad Jennings can't catch every pass.

Eli has always liked passing to the TE when he had one.

He's a good pick yup, I think you see at minimum 50+ yards a week w/ a TD thrown in here and there.
