i thought trich actually looked good last week. maybe it was cuz the eagles were blitzing a lot and their focus was to stop luck but last week I thought he actually looked like a legit NFL rb.
ya between him and eddie lacy they're killing me. however, I don't give up on a player I thought this highly of in 3 weeks, like lacy, aleen has faced a tough schedule with seattle and Sherman, cards and Peterson and even the bills on the road are feisty.
i wanted big ben but mikey out bid me for him with 11 points. eli was the next best option at qb on the ww and I spent 0 on him. I'm not happy to say this but he's actually looked good the past 2 weeks and he's playing the skins d on a short week who just got tore up by philly so hopefully eli can get me something like 250 yards and 2tds, I don't think that's out of the question
how weird is it looking at the standings? I know its very early but were all 1-2 and in 6th or worse place and guys like erm are in 2nd or 3rd. weird fantasy year so far!
lets just say when I picked up eli for 0 points the other day and nick made fun of me I wasn't making expecting a 32 point effort from him but ill take it! I didn't even realize that danny had cousins going so even better. probably the best possible outcome for me watching a giants/skins game. I've never enjoyed one so much before!

cuz he knows the giants front and back and didn't pick up eli or the TE when he coulda had both for basically nothing!
danny should also be pissed cuz 1. he got smoked in last nights qb match up and 2. he averages 3 giants per year every year in our league yet this year he has none and they went off last night.
I try to leave the Giants off my fantasy team. Double heart break on a sunday is a recipe for a hungover monday. To be fair double victory does as well I suppose.
I was never one of those ppl who thought the giants were dead after 2 weeks, too well coached and although I hate eli hes still a super bowl winning qb. they also played a pretty good lions team on the road and a decent cardinals team that they blew the game on.
with that said, lets not go over board here, they beat the Texans and the skins on a short week aka #1 and #2 overall picks from 2013. also, these Thursday night games are such garbage. every week on of the teams is either really sloppy or under prepared and it shows. I think all 4 Thursday night games this year have been a 20 point blow out, and I guess it makes more sense that a 10 year vet with a 2 time super bowl winning coach will be more prepared on a short week vs a qb/coach who have been doing this for 3 weeks.
with that said part 2, unless something crazy happens it looks like its gonna be eagles/giants for the division. skins are 1-3 and have seattle and az coming up and I don't think dallas is a contender at all, so these next few weeks are going to be telling.
eagles got:
- 49ers
- rams
-giants
giants got:
-skins (W)
- falcons
- eagles
the team that goes 2-1 (or better) in these 3 games will have a huge advantage the rest of the year and will be the clear favorite for the NFC East.
while they did look good last week, they also let kurt cousins throw for over 400 yards on them the week before so this D is not to be trusted just yet. hopefully they will play well vs the rams this week but I like the browns over tenn matchup better.
Oh whats this? My phones blowing up! Hello Mr.Davis! What you want me to be Head Coach AND General Manager of the Raiders? Well thanks I'll be right there!
Mostly research. I can probably list you every starting RB's direct backup and then a lil bit more.
Lost by like 6 to erm week 1 when Doug martin got 1 point, rams D got -1, and Romo threw 3 picks
Week 2 was just a clunker of a week
week 3 win
last week Vereen/Colston/Olsen/Fjax did me no favors 1 td and 50 more yards from somewhere would have been a victory. Had I played nearly anyone else (7/12 members of the league) I would have won.
Im not getting blown out just very poor luck. I like my chances going forward, but as alway OPEN TO TRADE!

im a crowell fan and once tate gets hurt again i think hes the lead back and a great play but until that happnes, prolly this week, hes shaky.
not looking for an answer since its our league but im really struggling between cordarrelle patterson and branin cooks. similar to colston, cooks is playing the leagues far and away worst pass defense. they are going to throw for a ton of yards. patterson is my dude but im leaning towards cooks because of this. so, id go colston in your case for sure.
that's very bold, has he even had a full week of practice yet?
in other news, me and nicks convo from last night before the packers/Vikings game:
(not direct quotes)
nick: fish, im struggling in fantasy this year so I need your help. who should I start cordell Patterson or Brandon cooks?
me: well nick, if teddy bridgewater is out that means 3rd string Christian ponder will be starting on the road on a short week. or you can go with a Wr who has drew breese throwing to him in a dome at home where he rarely loses. you should go cooks.
nick: yeah well Patterson did ok with ponder throwing to him last year.
me: yes, we he also had somebody named AP running the ball the entire game.
while the steelers defense played well to a tune of 14 points the eagles was slightly better.
While you're thinking, the important part of the story here is that after five games, the Philadelphia Eagles have now scored a touchdown in seven different ways, per RedZone's Scott Hanson and FTW. No team in the NFL has ever scored a touchdown all eight ways, but the Eagles now have the rest of the year to do so.
All right, so let's get to the many situations in which you can score a touchdown. The first two are easy:
• Rushing touchdown. This happens regularly, unless you're Jacksonville.
• Receiving touchdown. Fantasy bonus if you own both QB and receiver.
Next, you've got the special teams touchdowns:
• Kickoff touchdown. Momentum reverser.
• Punt return touchdown. Should've kicked it out of bounds.
The rest involve some kind of miscue, and are painful indeed.
• Fumble return. The defensive heartbreaker.
• Interception return. The pick-six QB breaker.
• Punt block return. Insult atop injury.
So what does that leave? The one kind of touchdown situation that the Eagles haven't yet scored: a botched field goal. If a field goal is blocked, or is caught short of the crossbar, the defense can return it for a touchdown. It's a rare play, certainly, but not an impossible one, as Alabama could tell you.
i went all in this week on the waiver wire. spent about 90% of my total points on Hillman and andre Williams. never hurts to have 2 more starting rb's with byes coming up!
coming from the guy who picked up knile davis for over 60 points and started him 1 game haha
anyway, from what I read both Ball and Jennings will be out a few weeks and I rarely use my points on anyone so I figured I might as well go for it with 2 starting RB's out there. plus it blocks people from being able to use them and gain ground on me. I like having 5 starting RB's (6 when Donald brown comes back) with bye weeks coming up. hopefully it pays off for me
not really the same since i owned the starter but yea. would have prolly put in around 40 for williams if i had it but i dont really consider donald brown a starting RB.
i need moreno and ingram back. moreno maybe this week and ingram for sure next week. those guys have been wasting bench spots.
still cant get over the fact that everyone is either 3-2 or 2-3
