oh trust me if it wasn't for the fact that I am most likely still going to win tonight (only need 2 points from the stillers kicker) I would furious that I benched grey.  you just never know with pats RB's, one week they get every single goal line carry and then next week he might get 5 carries.  I had him in ahead of Stephen Jackson but then forster was ruled out on Saturday so I put Hopkins in that spot as my flex.  oh well what can you do.

in other fantasy news, it looks like kearns just flat out quit.  started 2 players on IA and another on a bye.  I think Jonas grey outscored his entire team.

I don't blame him, he has 0 RBs left. Who's he gonna start? Benny Cunningham and Andre Williams?

2 more weeks left in the regular season!  1 more win clinches me a bye but looks like I got the friggin Pats schedule tho jesus.

week 10: new mike (currently in 2nd)

week 11: erm (currently 8th)

week 12: nick (3rd)

week 13: josh (4th)

josh, idk how bored you are but is there anyway you could make a quicker keeper track for everyone since the trade deadline is this Friday?  if it is too much time don't worry about it.

haha im fighting so hard for that bye week but cant get there. beat the first place team this past week now i gotta beat the new first place team this week to keep pace. ive got a better chance of catching new mike cause of points for so go forster! (ugh)

guess this is what happens when you cant beat the bucs (kearns) or jets (paul).

last night was magical. down 11 with bell/bryant vs AB. was so torn especially when bell scored to put me up then AB scored to put the steelers up. Lev Bell came back on those last 2 drives to top 200 yards and get me the win. perfect time for the steelers bye, they should be getting back troy, ike, shazier, jarvis and mcclendon. even better timing for fish since he wont have to see bell this weekend ;)

playoffs are just around the corner. still a few playoff spots up for grabs with 9 teams 5-6 or better. unless braj can makeup 2 wins and 80 points on josh all 3 of us should have clinched already, no?

looks that way.

Funny Story Time: I just got into it with danny a little bit after bringing to light he is all but eliminated and I would like him to pay up on his bet soon.  to recap, before the season started he was bragging that he was a better fantasy player than nick and I told him he was crazy so then he started insulting me haha.  that was when he promised he would do better than me this upcoming season and made a bet that he would finish either ahead of me in the standings or go further than me in the playoffs.  the bet was if he won I had to hand write him a note stating he was the best fantasy owner alive but if I won he had to come to bmore one night and pay for all my drinks and help me get laid and if I couldn't get laid he would also pay for my hooker.  then after the draft he claimed my team sucked and he was easily the favorites and it was on.

so with 2 games left and him currently in 10th place I told him his chances weren't very good.  he claimed I didn't know what I was talking about and the tiebreakers could change things.  I told him he had to go 2-0 and hope both brajer and joe go 0-2 plus he needed to outscore erm and forster if either of them won 1 game as well.  he started getting feisty and claimed "your league sucks anyway."  I asked why and he said it is the 1985 Toyota corolla in fantasy leagues since we are only in year 1 of keepers and year 2 of auctions.  I reminded him I have been trying to do auction/keeper for years but certain people, including himself, were against the change and were consistently fighting me about it.  he then said I needed to resign as commish hahah he's being super bitter.  I told him I would think about it if everyone else felt that way but he still needed to pay up on our bet and he wasn't getting out of it and he has yet to respond since.

year 2 to 3 is triple.  year 3 to 4 is 4x.

we agreed that so you don't get a guy for $2 and keep him for 10 years

i thought it was triple the price you got him for. aka this year was double the $3 for bell and next year will be triple aka 3x3=9. or double the keeper price. whatevs

no because if you get a guy for $1 you basically keep him until you no longer want him like me with maclin.  I don't think it will be fair to hang on to him in year 5 for $5.  with these rules at least keeping him will be more costly down the road.

so in my other league I finished 9th out of 12 teams, bad season right? well, I then looked at the standings, and I finished FIRST in points scored, however my points against were also first by more than 150 points for the team in 2nd.  how a team leads the league in points scored and can't make the playoffs is ridiculous, fantasy is so much fun right!

also, what do you guys think of this rule for next year:  instead of 3rd place getting $100 we give it to the regular season winner?  does anyone really care if they finish 3rd?  at least if you win the regular season you can get something in return for having the best team.  thoughts?

I think the best part of coming in 3rd is you simply don't have to pay. this wouldn't matter to the guy who comes in first then wins the ship (or loses the ship). I think its best the way it is plus it gives the two teams in the consolation game one more week to care about (which means a lot when watching meaningless football)

Fish are you trying to turn this into an Eagles themed league where you look good in the regular season and expect a payout, only to fail miserably in the playoffs? Guess you expect a trophy as the handjob king for all those second place intramural finishes at Towson since you can't seal the deal. Jpoo you better be playing the Vikings D this week. I'm looking to go to the game to watch the Jets drop half a hundred on those pansies.

hahaha oh joe.  i'll take best regular season winner or coming in 2nd like you love to remind me of going back to the eagles and towson flag football (which oh by the way, you were on that team as well) over what you are use to which is not ever getting past round 1 of the playoffs or just being a depressed jets fan in general but hey I thought I would ask.  you are right though, only a few of us have a chance of being regular season champs (mostly the 3 of us on here) while the chance of being THIRD is open to pretty much ANYBODY so lets keep that dream alive.

anyway, I was looking at the league history on the nfl.com website and it looks like my team this year outscored nicks undefeated squad last year by almost 100 points which goes to show you that nick was extremely lucky last year and there is no chance I will allow you to go back to back and be the 1st 2 time champ in our league which once again I believe looks like this:

2013: Nick

2012: Josh

2011: Forster

2010: Kearns

2009: Me

2008: Brajer (?)

2007: Motz (really it was Nickerson)

Now that I think about it, I know for sure 2009-2013 is right and I know Motz won one year due to nickerson managing his team while overseas, but is this right and I am missing any years?

im confused. you see what scoring the most points in ur work league got you. NOTHING. just like the 72 dolphins, I am still own the only undefeated season in the history of this league.

that's big talk for a guy who put up what 70 points last week? good thing the game didn't matter. this weeks doesn't either but I don't think you want to limp into the playoffs with back to back >100 point games.

all you need is a seat at the table. ANY team can win the ship once their in, regular season points don't mean ****.

unless your a eagles fan... OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

also, its crazy that in 6 years no one has won more than 1. forget back to back we don't even have a 2 time champion.

haha yup and I also benched him (grey) the week before that when he put up over 40 so give me an 0-3 on that (although my record was actually 2-1 in that stretch sooo).  regardless, I knew that whatever happened last week I would still have the 1 seed so I didn't really care about my lineup, just need to get it right next week!

to be honest, id rather be playing new mike but what can you do.  luckily I had a bye this week cuz I had some tough matchups this week with maclin and Thomas getting shut down but that won't happen twice in a row so lets go!

noticed a lot of non playoff teams went hog wild on the waivers, should let it be known you can't keep anyone added after the start of the playoffs

ya not really sure what kearns is doing, esp since he didn't make a move most of the regular season.  its not like Vernon davis is going to be a strong keeper addition

ya after I texted danny he told me he traded him to u but I didn't feel like going back and re-posting or editing it haha.

I rarely if ever look at who im playing vs in fantasy.  I have enough teams to root against with the eagles in a tight playoff race, I don't need to add in another 7 players to add to that list.

Kearns and Danny made more moves this week than the entire year combined. Corderrale Patterson is gonna be a solid keeper for the kick return slot at $54

uh ohh fish

Lacy was listed as a limited participant at Wednesday’s practice and it sounds like that will be the case on Thursday’s injury report as well. Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports that Lacy did “little to nothing” in the portion of practice open to the media.

bad timing to be losing fantasy RBs. I feel your pain thou -- ellington was placed on IR last week and JC didn't practice yesterday. still waiting to hear about today.
