ya im very disappointed as well. the Texans games killed me, between Fitzpatrick getting hurt which effected foster and Hopkins to me thinking the Texans d vs luck on the road was going to be a bad matchup I got killed on it. oh ya and odell beckhman too. he is now my 2nd least favorite player with only antrell rolle ahead of him.

It's honestly a little scary, think about it...

30 yards is no guarantee. gonna be painful to watch and root against jefferey which watching him move closer and closer to ending ur season. I hate rooting against a player. would rather be in joshs shoes from that standpoint. BUT until you lost the lead, ur still winning and anything can happen.

I'd like to propose a few rule changes;

1) Expand Keepers to 2 players.
2) Add TE to the FLEX spot.
3)Get rid of the RES spot, if you want to risk hanging onto someone injured I think you should have to sacrifice a bench spot.
4)Add a third starting WR slot, we do it in my home league and it's worked out really nice w/ 12 people. And besides more players = more points = more fun.
5)Move to ESPN, I really despise NFL.com for some reason, I think it's having to see Michael Fabiano's face all the time. Anyway I think theres more customizing available on ESPN as well.

6) If a kicker misses a FG it's -1

7)Defense scoring update, I did it in my home league this year and I feel it's much more fair;

Thats all that comes to mind now, but I actually feel pretty strongly about all of these.

#1. I am down if others agree, although it was kinda a pain in the ass last year in the draft first but hopefully we've learned from those mistakes. the down side to that and something we need to consider is that there will come a point where certain teams (most likely the better players) can get too stacked if a person can find 2 good keepers for say 2 points each and then are able to have all those auction points. Imagine if I was able to hold onto maclin for 6 points and Russell Wilson for 2 and I have basically 190 points for 4-5 more players. I understand people like us would like that but a certain point it gets unfair for like erm, paul, kearns and people who don't take fantasy as seriously.

#2. I will almost definitely do.

#3. I think everyone bitched about this last year which is why we had to add it in the first place.

#4. I don't like this. Too many players and I don't like when the scores are 220 to 190 which is what would happen if you have possibly 4 WR's in your starting lineup.

#5. I don't mind NFL.com, I like that it keeps our league history which isn't a big deal but its nice to look back on when I am arguing with Danny about how good he thinks he is. also keeps tracking keepers easy to do from prior years. I'll ask people about espn.com but I haven't really heard that its THAT much better.

#6. Do you really want to lose a close game because your kicker missed 2 FG's and you lost 2 points? If anything I wouldn't mind getting rid of the kicker altogether.

#7. Not a bad idea either.

I like all of Josh's suggestions, except for the keepers and 3wrs bit. The draft is the best part of fantasy and that will completely water it down. Also Fish you make a solid point. Someone could have two studs for nothing and would start the year off with a total advantage. I've always played that if a kicker misses from under 50 it's -1. Everything over is nothing.

created my initial FF spreadsheet on 7/23 last year. geeze is it really time to start research again? i knew this summer would fly by because of the wedding but damn im not prepared.

joking, mostly, but i did want to make sure we didnt schedule the draft so late this year. im assuming preseason games wrap up the sunday of my wedding then im heading to greece that tuesday (steelers kick off the season thursday at 3:15AM local time in greece

i MAYBE can do it monday night but thats gonna be a struggle for me with everything going on. plus ppl will still be returning from my wedding. not that the days leading up to my wedding day will be any easier. see what ppl can do, if it has to be monday the 7th that may work (or even be best) but im gonna need some options.

i'll start asking people in early august when they are free. like I've always said, I like doing it anytime after the 3rd preseason game and if I remember correctly we normally do it the day or 2 before the 1st Thursday game so nick you might have to postpone your honey moon. kidding, we'll figure it out, might just have to do it a lot earlier this year

ok so I activated the league and changed the settings so TE is now a flex option. I THINK I also changed the settings so I can assign a keeper for each person and it looks like they also have an "assign value" section next to it so I'm hoping that works once the auction draft starts so we can avoid the disaster that happened last year. i know josh you want to mess around with the defensive setting, ill send an email in a few weeks once i start figuring out the draft date and i'll see if anyone else cares enough.

got me thinking - the 3 of us are pretty good FFB players. could we agree enough to play some higher stakes sunday games? can collect money then split pots evenly... just a thought.
