so as we know the 1st round of this years draft is Thursday April 28th. with wedding season coming up I started organizing my calendar and found out Allie is in one this year so I asked her the date and she told me it was Sat April 30th. Close call but no biggie I barley watch the 3rd day of the draft anyway. That was until the wedding invites came out this week and I then found out this chick is having her rehearsal dinner for everyone not the Friday before the wedding, but on that ****ing Thursday the 28th!!
I already told allie how big a deal this day is to me, but of course she is not having it. the girl who is getting married already told allie I was invited but didn't have to go, but of course every girl there is going to be with her date so I am in a real tough spot here...thoughts???
yeah bro, you gotta go. ive tried to get out of these rehersal dinners before, even think i was successful once, and let me tell you its not worth it. these are like the feast they give to pigs to fatten them up before taking them to slaughter. dont take away the feast before the slaughter.... dont.
i can text you up to the minute updates but cant promise every update wont start with "omg the eagles just traded up" until they are on the clock. im sure there are some good apps for it.
i tried to test the limit by telling her i already had plans haha but yeah it's not looking good either.
I will for sure tape it and not sure if I will shut off my phone or not because I cant imagine allie will be happy with me being on my phone the entire night, I can already imagine receiving over 100 texts that night. we'll see how long I can last without any spoilers but I'm sure not long
so apparently eagles are holding private work outs for all the top 3 qbs and Jeffrey lurie will be in attendance. I for one will not be shocked if the eagles draft a QB at #8, esp if a guy they love falls to them, what you guys think: crazy or smart?
I can see anything happening. I think theres gonna be a lot of trading (again) this year. browns, chargers, 49ers, could all get it started early then watch out.
I have done zero research but these guys seem to be the best of a weak class. teams always need QBs but drafting guys out of small schooles is tough because you have no idea how they will perform on the big stage. I think ealges are more likely to target someone like stanley or elliott or hardgraves. not sure where cardarrele will go but i do like him.
PFT put out an article yesterday after ramsey claimed himself the best player in the draft, saying CBs dont, and alluded to shouldnt, go that high. while no one other than a QB, LT or DL have gone first since like 1996, there is no hotter position right now that CB. they are the highest inflated position in FA, everyone wants CBs and are willing to pay, so why not go get one #1 if you dont need a QB? theyre also harder to predict in the draft which could mean he will bust, but if you believe he will translate it could be a huge gain this day in age.
on a seperate note, if this is true he has no business being in pro football:
A former member of the Philadelphia front office told Matt Lombardo of NJ.com that Howie Roseman and the team’s scouts had little input over the draft during Kelly’s three seasons with the team. The biggest example came from the decision-making process that resulted in the selection of linebacker Marcus Smith in round one.
“Right before that [2014] draft, the scouts set the board,” the unnamed former employee told Lombardo. “Then Chip got a hold of it and totally turned it around. Scouts had no say at all in that draft. Anybody that Chip didn’t want, that player’s card got removed from the board and thrown in the trash. Those guys were never even in the discussion.
The source, who said that he had a third-round draft grade on Smith, explained that Kelly would listen to former front-office exec Tom Gamble, but that Kelly wouldn’t listen to Roseman.
Damn, I get going up and getting a player if you really like him but thats an organization decision.
yeah I read the article earlier today. I liked chip and all but this act like he had nothing to do with any of the front office moves and is showing no responsibility for anything (he said roseman was the one who signed murray/Maxwell and he had nothing to do with that) when its clear the exact opposite happened is really frustrating. its pretty clear now why Lurie fired him with 1 game to go and it has nothing to do with having a bad year, its the fact he showed no accountability for anything he did and he pissed off a lot of people in the building.
Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss At this point, I think that while Jalen Ramsey is the type of talent you could consider here, the need to protect the face of the franchise wins out unless they find a way to trade out of this spot. The top left tackle in the draft goes to a team where offensive line help is a must. No change from the previous mock.
2. Cleveland Browns
Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota State
He's not the top QB on my board, but this isn't a prospect ranking, it's a projection. The addition of Robert Griffin III does provide some added developmental insurance here so they don't have to start a rookie, and it also gives them a chance to wait on a QB pick if they really like one of the guys who could be around in Round 2.
3. San Diego Chargers
Jalen Ramsey, DB, Florida State
I do think they could consider Ronnie Stanley here, but if it's about the best player available here, I think Ramsey has a good shot. I know there are concerns he'll face some developmental hurdles as a rookie, but all cornerbacks do, and Ramsey's ceiling is extremely high.
4. Dallas Cowboys
Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio State
I don't think they should be out of the market for a quarterback this high, but it's hard to go wrong with the best pure pass-rusher in the draft. Bosa might not be the kind of freakish athlete you peg for a future 20-sack season, but he's a much better athlete than many give him credit for, and he'll be an early contributor who can stay on the field in any situation.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars
Myles Jack, LB, UCLA
This guy just makes you better on the defensive side of the ball. The game comes so easy to him, and while we say it often, his ability to cover almost anyone with a legit linebacker frame is where it really stands out. Draft him and expect him to start right away.
6. Baltimore Ravens
Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State
The Ravens could go in a number of directions here, but this is a spot where Elliott starts to come into play for teams who want to stay strict to a "best player available" strategy. No question he'll benefit any team he lands with, including the Ravens.
7. San Francisco 49ers
Jared Goff, QB, California
Sticking with this pick. Even if Colin Kaepernick remains at quarterback -- that feels less and less likely -- I don't know if Goff would be out of the equation here. Goff has some special traits that could help him get on the field pretty quickly if Chip Kelly can trust him with the offense.
8. Philadelphia Eagles (from Miami)
DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon
A steal at this point, Buckner would look pretty good on a defensive line with Fletcher Cox. Buckner has the ability to really control an offensive lineman and disrupt offenses, and his versatility makes him useful pretty much anywhere.
9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame
I could see Stanley going as high as No. 3 overall, which makes him a reasonable value here. The Bucs did target offensive line help in last year's draft, but ceiling is a pretty big question mark, and they shouldn't make the same mistake the Colts did with Andrew Luck when it comes to building a solid group in front of their franchise talent.
10. New York Giants
Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State
The Giants could go a few different directions here, as their spending spree in free agency, particularly on defense, doesn't mean that adding a pass-rusher or cornerback is out of the question here. But Conklin can be plugged in immediately at right tackle, and could even battle for the starting job on the left side.
11. Chicago Bears
Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia
Sticking with the same pick here from the previous mock. The Bears did a nice job in free agency at inside linebacker, but Floyd is the edge defender who could really help early in passing downs.
12. New Orleans Saints
Sheldon Rankins, DL, Louisville
Another one I'm not changing from the previous mock. Rankins offers as much interior quickness as you're going to find in this draft, a class loaded with good interior defenders. More disruption from the defensive line is a recipe for a rebound for the Saints' defense.
13. Miami Dolphins (from Philadelphia)
Darron Lee, OLB, Ohio State
Lee offers tremendous upside, and I think a smart defensive coordinator will find him extremely versatile. He's an explosive, blitzing threat who is great in space and will grow into an above-average coverage linebacker. Athletes like this are special, and Lee has the instincts to go with that raw ability.
14. Oakland Raiders
Vernon Hargreaves, CB, Florida
The Raiders have done a lot of work in free agency to address the defensive side of the ball, but they need help at cornerback and could be tickled to find the best pure corner in the draft at this spot. Hargreaves lacks some measurables, but the tape doesn't lie.
15. Los Angeles Rams
Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis
Lynch needs a lot of development, but for a franchise desperate for a quarterback, he could be worth the bet. Could the Rams be one of the teams willing to move up for Goff or Wentz? It's not entirely out of the question.
16. Detroit Lions
Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss
The Lions have needs elsewhere, but getting the top wide receiver in the draft class at No. 16 overall is a good value. It's absurd to say Treadwell can replace Calvin Johnson -- nobody is doing that -- but he does give them length, strong hands and playmaking ability. They can get a good D-lineman in either of the next two rounds thanks to so much depth at the position.

17. Atlanta Falcons
Reggie Ragland, LB, Alabama
You could make a case that Ragland is as ready to contribute on Sundays as any defender in this draft. Yes, he's an instinctive tackling machine at the line of scrimmage, but Ragland can cover ground. Atlanta can put him to work immediately.
18. Indianapolis Colts
Taylor Decker, OT, Ohio State
It's hard for me to see a situation in which one of the top three offensive tackles is still available here, but Decker is a solid value at this slot and I don't think the Colts can go wrong with a "best offensive lineman available" strategy, potentially more than once.
19. Buffalo Bills
Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson
Given his productivity and well-rounded game, Lawson would be a good get in this range. The Ryan brothers have to get the defense turned around or they could both be elsewhere in 2017, and Lawson is the kind of player who can get on the field early and help.
20. New York Jets
Germain Ifedi, OT, Texas A&M
One of the fastest-rising prospects in the draft, Ifedi has the prototype frame for an NFL left tackle, with long arms and quick feet. You're certainly projecting a little here, because he's far more about potential than polish at this point, but you could end up with a steal at a need position. Ifedi can also play guard.
21. Washington Redskins
Jarran Reed, DL, Alabama
Washington went after physical trench players in the 2015 draft, and Reed would be a continuation of that trend. There isn't a better defender against the run, and Reed is ready to get on the field for pretty much any team.
22. Houston Texans
Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor
They have a big-time talent in DeAndre Hopkins, but Coleman adds another dimension, and is the kind of speedster who can open up space for others in the offense because you simply have to respect his speed. If you think you have your QB, you better add another weapon.
23. Minnesota Vikings
Josh Doctson, WR, TCU
Sticking with this pick from the previous mock. As I said then, you have Stefon Diggs, but this is a huge year for Teddy Bridgewater and the Vikings need to add another weapon in the passing game. Doctson is a magician when the ball is in the air, and he can make plays after the catch as well.
24. Cincinnati Bengals
Will Fuller, WR, Notre Dame
Free agency didn't help Andy Dalton all that much. A.J. Green is still all-world at wide receiver, but they could use another player who will get the attention of opposing defensive coordinators and make safeties take a step or two backwards. Fuller has big-time speed and was the best deep threat in college football last season.
25. Pittsburgh Steelers
William Jackson III, CB, Houston
The Steelers could be a better secondary away from Super Bowl contention, and while you don't want to rely on rookies back there too often, Pittsburgh doesn't have a choice and should add talent wherever there's value to be had. Jackson is rising on boards everywhere and could be a good get at this stage.
26. Seattle Seahawks
Eli Apple, CB, Ohio State
I know the offensive line is a concern, but I don't think you can sacrifice talent for need here, especially when the reality is you're not being realistic if you think there's an immediate upgrade at left tackle to be found here. Apple has major upside as a physical cornerback with length. He'll fit right in.
27. Green Bay Packers
Kamalei Correa, OLB, Boise State
A high-energy speedster coming off the edge looks great on this defense, and the more you watch Correa, the more you see the potential for him to help a pass-rush right away. He can take some pressure off Clay Matthews and Julius Peppers.
28. Kansas City Chiefs
Vonn Bell, S, Ohio State
He's listed at safety, but Bell has the kind of coverage ability that some think he could handle cornerback. In a nutshell, he's a versatile talent in the secondary, and the Chiefs -- or any team, for that matter -- will find use for him.
29. Arizona Cardinals
Ryan Kelly, C, Alabama
The addition of Chandler Jones gives the Cardinals a much-needed pass-rusher. Now a team without glaring needs does have a noticeable one on the interior of the offensive line. Kelly is a plug-and-play option at center, and he's also in the "best available" mix at this point.
30. Carolina Panthers
Emmanuel Ogbah, DE/OLB, Oklahoma State
The Panthers will be reminded how impactful a dominating pass-rush can be every time they roll the Super Bowl tape -- though I don't suspect that'll be too often. Kony Ealy is on the rise, but Charles Johnson turns 30 this summer, and Ogbah has major upside. Again: You can't have enough good pass-rushers.
31. Denver Broncos
A'Shawn Robinson, DL, Alabama
The departure of Malik Jackson in free agency makes Robinson an easy pick here. And really, even if Jackson was still around, this pick makes sense. If there's a big question at this stage, it's whether John Elway could be in the QB market right here. He's got time, and he usually has a pretty good plan, too.
There will be only 31 picks in the first round in 2016, with New England's first-round pick forfeited.
Prospects in play in the second round A number of these guys could easily land in Round 1, particularly some of the defensive tackles. I'm simply saying for this mock they are in play in Round 2.
Quarterbacks: Connor Cook, Michigan State; Christian Hackenberg, Penn State
Running backs: Derrick Henry, Alabama
Wide receivers: Sterling Shepard, Oklahoma; Michael Thomas, Ohio State;Braxton Miller, Ohio State
Tight ends: Hunter Henry, Arkansas; Jerell Adams, South Carolina
Steelers get thier second round pick CB from last year senquez golston back from missing the entire year on IR (training camp injury) so their CB situation isnt as dire as it appears. billings is amazing on tape. still, they could use either a CB or S or even OLB with jarvis entering his final year. i really dont care who they take as long as that player plays defense.
wow kipper has Elliott going #6?? that's pretty high, although it wouldn't stun me completely to see the eagles draft him at 8 so I guess 6 isn't too far off, but still I don't see that happening.
I like buckner at 8, but if Stanley is there I don't see the eagles passing on him unless someone who they really like slips to them unexpectedly. I think buckner goes 6 to the ravens actually.
I'm surprised all these bama guys are going in the 20's and late in the 1st. I feel like this is another year where another good bama defensive prospect gets picked by a good team and makes an immediate impact like cj molsey
id much rather the ravens took elliott than buckner because i think buckner is a much better prospect, eps in the top 10. i really dont see them going RB either, like the steelers or giants they like guys in the trenches with high picks then skill guys later. i will be pissed if they get buckner, bosa or ramsey. those are my biggest fears.
yeah I'm sure if this guy fell to them they would love to draft him at 8, but with the browns/49ers and possibly a surprise team (dallas?) drafting ahead of them I don't see him slipping. and with no 2nd round pick I don't see how the eagles would have enough to trade up to #1 if they even did like him that much.
cant say I know much about him, didn't check out too many North Dakota state games this season haha. I'm always nervous about guys like that, if you're a top prospect and a potential franchise qb, shouldn't you have been noticed at some point while the games were actually being played? that situation always reminds me of blaine gabbert who was a nobody all season, then we get to the combine and the senior bowl or whatever and now they're a top 10 pick all of a sudden and going to be the face of the franchise?
with that said, maybe him playing at a small school was the reason we didn't hear about him during the season which would make his situation different from gabbert but still. everything I read says hes more of a running qb, or at least that's what he's best at, and we've seen how that's translated to the NFL level. I actually watched some of Geoff's games and thought he was pretty good. if he slipped to 8 and the eagles were confident enough that he has franchise qb potential and drafted him I would be more happy with that.
yeah but we wouldnt know much about joe flacco either if he didnt smash us in our homecoming game. sure we knew who he was but he wasnt any more featured than geoff. id say hes floor and celing are somewhere between those 2, flacco being he floor and my boy blane the celing ;)
CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Eagles "are in love" with Ohio State RB Ezekiel Elliott.
La Canfora "continue[s] to hear" that if both Cal QB Jared Goff and North Dakota State QB Carson Wentz are off the board when the Eagles pick at No. 8, then Elliott "is the pick." The belief around the league is de facto GM Howie Roseman is "dead set on making a huge splash" in the draft. Elliott would qualify and immediately slide in as the Eagles' three-down workhorse after coach Doug Pederson previously coached workhorses LeSean McCoy and Jamaal Charles. Elliott may not even make it to No. 8, as the Cowboys at No. 4 are said to be "very high" on him.
how you feel about Zeke at 8 fish? I'd want none of it
watching one of the best backs in the league in Lev Bell do great then get injured the past 2 seasons, only to be replaced by a 32 year old deangelo williams who didnt see a drop in production scares me a bit. I love Bell and hope he stays with the steelers but RBs are just too injury prone and replacable to be top 10 picks, in my opinion.
elliott is up there with AP as far as size and talent. he would be a fine pick but i think offensive lines dictate how good a teams run game is more than the RB himself.
all that said, with the way the NFL is becoming so pass heavy to have a weapon like AP or gurley or elliott that teams arent built to defend -- rostered for nickle defense to be a base package, smaller DLmen and LBs, etc -- then if used correctly a beast of an RB can be a big asset. still, 8th is pretty high.
8 is high for him, but I would like it. I would rather have an impact defensive player but if Elliot is the best player available and the eagles went with him I would be real happy. after signing the G from Texans (brooks) and another G from jax, the line is coming together nicely so it's now time for some impact offensive skills guys since chip let McCoy, Jackson and maclin all go and haven't really replaced any of them.
like your post said, Pederson is used to having an elite RB to work with, so having Elliott would really open up their offense and I don't think ryan Mathews is the answer. normally I would say to draft a RB in the 2nd round, but the eagles don't have a 2nd round pick this year so I am not sure if we can wait until the 3rd round to get a potential impact player.
nick, its easy to say the steelers didn't miss a beat when bell went down and denaglo came in, but you also have big ben and AB and those wr's to lean on, the eagles don't. they need some skill guys offensively to help out Bradford, so while it may be considered a reach there at 8, if they think hes going to be a special player I think it would be a good pick.
funny we're talking about this, bill barnwell just came out with an article today talking about draft outliers and how high of a pick the average is for each position for the top guy in that class. and where was RB? with the 8th overall pick...
Running Back
Median Top Draft Position: 8th overall pick Highest-Drafted Outliers: Ronnie Brown (2005, 2nd overall pick, +6 picks vs. expectation); Reggie Bush (2006, 2nd overall pick, +6); Trent Richardson (2012, 3rd overall pick, +5)
ha we'll see. I'm reading dallas may draft him at 4, and the big key is going to be where Geoff goes cuz it would not surprise me one bit if the eagles wanted him if he fell past san fran.
I guarantee you they take Goff, a California kid/College player... He'll give LA fans an immediate connection to the team and give them a reason to want to root for the team, makes too much sense.... updated mock incoming today....
poor browns. theres a 100% chance they are taking the QB that cle wanted. some teams have all the luck.
that return is crazy. especially with the talent in this years draft and next. hate it when AFC teams get stronger at the expense of NFC teams and also that the titans are going defense heavy, which the steelers need, including not taking a LT with the first pick. didnt the rams learn anything from the redskins in their RG3 trade?
this could have big implications through the whole draft.
yeah its a good trade for the rams and a great trade for the titans. they already have a qb so they don't need the #1 pick, and now they can add 4-5 extra picks and get some young talent.
I like the trade for the rams as well. I like when teams move up in the draft to get their guy esp if they think it is a franchise changing player. now, I have no idea if Geoff or wentz is that guy, but I like the move to be aggressive to get him because if he is a franchise qb a team cant give up enough to get that player. and the rams are pretty good at a lot of other positions, esp RB and dline, but you cant win without a qb and I'm sure they did not want another 6-10 or 8-8 year with foles or case kenum.
Reports for months have said the Rams LOVE wentz, guess this prooves it.
2)Browns
Jared Goff
QB
North Dakota St.
Well, with Wentz now gone this is the only choice.
3)Chargers
Jalen Ramsey
DB
FSU
Arguably the best player in the draft, their defense was awful last year, any improvement at any position is a god send.
4)Cowboys
Joey Bosa
EDGE
Ohio St.
Randy Gregory suspended 4 games, Hardy gone. They need pass rushers in the worst way.
5)Jaguars
Myles Jack
OLB
UCLA
Explosive, truly wish he would fall to the Giants, but I don't see how he doesn't go top 5.
6)Ravens
Laremy Tunsil
OT
Ole Miss
Okay, so I fully expect someone to trade up to the Jags spot to nab Tunsil, but I don't mock trades… Ravens with the steal, damn.
7)49ers
DeForest Buckner
DE/DT
Oregon
Consolation prize for missing out on Goff
8)Eagles
Ezekiel Elliot
RB
Ohio St.
I don't like it, but with Pederson's Jamaal Charles history it makes some sense.
9)Buccaneers
Vernon Hargreaves III
CB
Florida
Bucs secondary is atrocious, they'd run to the podium to get VH3 if the draft falls this way.
10)Giants
Laquon Treadwell
WR
Ole Miss
I'm not buying the slide the media has been reporting. No team ever views Treadwell as some #1 burner, he's a 3rd down/RZ machine, perfect compliment to ODB
11)Bears
William Jackson
CB
Houston
Their secondary is straight garbage and Jackson has been flying up the draft boards.
12)Saints
Jarran Reed
DT
Alabama
Anything to help this dreadful D…
13)Dolphins
Ronnie Stanley
OT
Notre Dame
They'd love to go CB here, but they can't believe Stanley fell into their laps, they can't turn down the upside …. Setting up Tannehills blindside protector for the next decade
14)Raiders
Sheldon Rankins
DT
Louisville
Damn, this is going to be a GOOD defense. Watch out for Oakland…
15)Titans
Jack Conklin
OT
Michigan St.
The Titans are set up to have some great depth going forward, they lock down their bookend tackle setting up a decade of Lewan and Conklin
16)Detroit
Robert Nkemdiche
DT/DE
Mississippi
They re-signed Haloti, but that’s just a stop gap… a lot of holes all over this team, they hope Nkemdiche can keep his head on straight and be a force for them
17)Falcons
Leonard Floyd
LB
Georgia
They need help all over this defense, Floyd could turn into an absolute monster
18)Colts
Ryan Kelly
C
Alabama
They need Andrew Luck to not die, period.
19)Bills
Darron Lee
OLB/DE
Ohio St.
Need pass rush, it's that simple
20)Jets
Taylor Decker
OT
Ohio St.
With D-Brick gone and Clady a walking injury, they need insurance for now and a block for the future.
21)Redskins
Kendall Fuller
CB
VT
Related to Kyle Fuller.. This secondary is absolute dog ****, another necessity.
22)Texans
Corey Coleman
WR
Baylor
I know they took Jalen Strong last year, but he was very up and down. Some are saying Coleman is the best WR in this draft, they make their offense even better.
23)Vikings
Will Fuller
WR
Notre Dame
Need to get Bridgewater some weapons!!!!!!
24)Bengals
Josh Doctson
WR
TCU
Can you tell me who's going to play across from AJ this year? I sure as **** can't
25)Steelers
Mackensie Alexander
CB
Clemson
Don't think I need to explain this one too much
26)Seahawks
Shaq Lawson
DE
Clemson
Their pass rush was nowhere near what it used to be, and now Bruce Irvin is gone… They need an influx of talent
27)Packers
A'Shawn Robinson
DT
Alabama
With the sudden reitrement of BJ Raji they need D line reinforcements
28)Chiefs
Eli Apple
CB
Ohio St.
Marcus Peters looks like a stud, in this day and age you can never have too many CBs
29)Cardinals
Shilique Calhoun
DE
Michigan St.
They got their pass rusher in the form of Chandler Jones from the Pats, now they get him a bookend
30)Panthers
Emmanuel Ogbah
DE
Oklahoma St.
Kony Ealy came on nicely in the superbowl, they need to get to the QB better.
good point, if this trade pushes tunsil down to the ravens (which it looks like it will) i hate this trade more than i already did (more picks for tenn + likely an additional defensive player picked)
mocking tradwell to gmen? could be a dangerous duo with ODB.
Going through mocks, theres A LOT of depth in this draft, even through the 4th round you could find guys who'd be 2nd rounders at worst other years... Excited for this year
well that would be interested. lets see how wentz reacts from being at a small school in north Dakota state where nobody has ever heard of him to being the face of LA sports, esp after kobe retiring. talk about a big change...
ESPN's Ed Werder reports the Eagles made a bid for the No. 1 overall pick before "(withdrawing) earlier in the week."
Despite already having Sam Bradford and Chase Daniel on the roster, the Eagles are reportedly enamored with North Dakota State's Carson Wentz. That dream is almost certainly out the window with the Rams moving up to No. 1 for what has to be the explicit purpose of drafting a quarterback, likely Wentz. The Eagles won't be taking a quarterback on Day 1.
interesting. I think I said it the other day on here but I didn't see eagles being able to trade up considering they didn't have their 2nd round pick this year. it would have involved all picks from next year and prob a few this year which wouldn't have left them much to work with.
Mike Francesa (NY's biggest sports talk guy who also happens to be a massive douchebag) was told by someone he respects for accurate info that they're not even sure who they want and will decide over the next two weeks... If thats true HOW do you make a trade of this magnitude without being damn sure on who you want?!?!
yeah I can't see that either. you don't give up multiple picks, including what 4-5 in the 1st 2 rounds, unless you are sure the guy you are getting is going to be special and not a coin flip between 2 guys and hope for the best.
PFT thinks the rams are keeping it a secret so that the drama will remain come draft day and will keep the NFL happy. could be possible, but like I said, I'm sure the rams know who they want and it will be interesting to see who is right on this in a little "insider battle" since LA Time reporter Sam Farmer is saying Wenz and espn.com and adam schefter then came out and said goff.
