haha correct! I wasn't expecting you to answer that way but I guess even you are tired of his attention seeking antics. and speaking of childish antics, we didn't even bring up AB last week!  while I agree what he did was incredibly dumb with that facebook live video, I thought it was a non issue after a day or 2 and would blow over but it actually became a week long story and some media guys are starting to think he is the next diva wr distraction like TO/chad Johnson/moss were and this was the beginning of the end for him in Pitt.  he has what 1-2 years left on his deal?  any chance they move on from him before his contract is up?

So it's over and the inevitable happened.... Moving to the offseason!

My top 5 FA's I'd like for the Giants

1)JPP - Obviously
2)Jonathan Hankins - Him and Snacks were an AWESOME combo this year wand to keep it going
3)Larry Warford (DET, G) Dudes a mauler, and our OL is a mess.
4)Andrew Whitworth (CIN, LT) Move Flowers to RT and lock down the Left, offense immensely better immediately
5)Kenny Britt - This might surprise you, but honestly, Britt is the missing dimension from this offense, the big guy who can go up and get the damn ball. Him, Odell & Sterling could be NASTY.

And my way too early mock draft!

1)CLE - Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M : Hands down the best prospect in the draft, easy pick with so many question marks at QB
2)SF - Mitch Trubisky, QB, UNC: They gave both Shanahan and Lynch 6 year deals, they know the rebuild thats required, they start with what they believe will be their franchise QB
3)CHI - DeShon Kizer, QB, ND: Despite the 3 win season the Bears aren't AWFUL, if a few things turn the right way this team could be a sneaky playoff contender. A competent QB is a good start.
4)JAX - Jonathan Allen, DT, BAMA: Dude is a MONSTER a DL of him Malik, Dante Fowler, and Yannick could cause nightmares, they need to pressure the QB
5)TEN - Malik Hooker, S, Ohio St.: Monster of a Safety, despite how decent this D was last year, their secondary was not so great. This is a good step to get on the right track
6)NYJ - Leonard Fournett, RB, LSU: I think they go into the year w/ Petty and Hackenburg and to take pressure off of them they get the monster back to feed the ball too.
7)LAC - Jamal Adams, S, LSU: They have the forming of a great young D w/ Bosa, Casey Heyward and crew, a upper level Safety could put them over the top.
8)CAR - Marlon Humphrey, CB, BAMA: Since Norman left their secondary is pretty bad, easy pick here.
9)CIN - Reuben Foster, LB, BAMA: Easy pick, feels like a Bengals pick too. Rey Maulaga is old and not so good, he'll slide into the spot next to scumbag Vontaze and form a pretty awesome duo.
10)BUF - DeShaun Watson, QB, Clemson: They kind of have to make this pick, they shot themselves in the foot w/ how they treated Tyrod at the end of the year.
11)NO - Solomon Thomas, DE ,Stanford: Wouldn't be surprised to see this guy go top 5 by draft time.
12)CLE - Marshon Lattimore, CB, Ohio St.: Their Secondary is bad, well, their entire team is, so any pick is a good pick.
13)ARZ - Mike Williams, WR, Clemson.: Michael Floyd busted, Larry is 99 years old, John Brown can't stay healthy... They need to get Carson a weapon for his last hurrah
14)IND - Dalvin Cook, RB, Florida St.: Gore is an ageless wonder, but it has to end eventually. This dude is going to be a beast out of the backfield and should help to protect Luck.
15)PHI - Corey Davis, WR, WMU: I have a man crush on this guy, so it was painful to give him to the Eagles. If they dont get someone in FA they HAVE to get a WR in the draft.
16)BAL - Cam Robinson, T, BAMA: Their RT Ricky Wagner is most likely walking this offseason... their hopes live and die on the arm of Flacco, need to keep him upright.
17)WAS - Malik McDowell, NT, Mich. St.: Their D was a mess against the run last year, mostly because they didnt have a true Nose Tackle for their 3-4, this changes that.
18)TEN - Quincy Wilson, CB, Florida: See #5
19)TB - John Ross, WR, Washington: NEED a 2nd weapon for Jameis across from Evans, this offense is going to get good FAST (Look for a RB in rd 2)
20)DEN - Ryan Ramcyzk, OT, Wisconson: Whoever's throwing the ball is going to need better protection then they got last year, easy pick.
21)DET - Taco Charlton, DE, Michigan St.: Easy pick, they need a more fierce D
22)MIA - Zach Cunningham, LB, Vanderbilt: They haven't had a real MLB since Zach Thomas many moons ago, this guy will be a stud
23)NYG - OJ Howard, TE, Bama: I want this so bad I can taste it.
24)OAK - Teez Tabor, CB, Florida: If this defense could even become top 15 this team is Superbowl bound.
25)HOU - Pat Mahomes, QB, Texas A&M: Need I really explain this?
26)SEA - Garrett Bolles, OT/OG, Utah: Once again obvious
27)KC - Jabrill Peppers, S/LB, Michigan St.: With Berry behind him he won't have to be "THE GUY" and can float around the field and do what he does best. (Still think he busts though)
28)DAL - Derek Barnett, DE, Tennessee: Randy Gregory is a crack head, they need pass rushers.
29)GB - Takkarist McKinley, DE/OLB, UCLA: Nick Perry is in his walk year, even if they re-sign him can you tell me who rushes the QB opposite him? Exactly.
30)PIT - Ryan Anderson, OLB/DE, BAMA: Jarvis Jones is a bust, heres his replacement, hopefully he isn't a bust.
31)ATL - Forrest Lamp, OT/OG, Western Kentucky: Chris Chester was their RG this year, nuff said.
32)NE - Tim Williams, DE/OLB, BAMA: This guy would be a top 5 pick but he has some serious off the field issues.... When has that stopped the Pats before? They scoop up a stud and we all get sad.

welcome back! this thing has been deader than a strip club in atlanta sunday night.

seems like everyone is interested in britt all of a sudden. my skins fans want him real bad too to replace djax and/or garcon. hes alright as a #2 or 3. to me melvin ingram is the prize but that just means steelers have no shot at him.

its sooo early for the draft but as long as steelers get a rusher i dont care who he is. i did hear that guy mentioned in another mock and said hes very similar to jarvis. that makes me nervous.

also, it seems like jabrell peppers and fournette are just dropping down draft boards already. they may bounce back but falling this early is never a good thing. gonna need strong combines.

solid work, like it a lot.  some comments/questions:

- I'm confused about kizer, wasn't he benched at ND?  how do you go from getting benched on a 4 win team to a franchise qb and top 3 pick in the draft??

- I think eagles go corner but I heard good things about this WMU WR (heard he has a TO type body) so if that is the pick I obviously would like it.  I also really like cook which you have 1 pick ahead of philly (who could get that pick depending on a coin toss) so I would be excited about that as well.

- you really think the giants are gonna be able to pay both JPP and Hankins?  can't pay EVERYONE on the dline esp after last years spending spree so one of them is most likely gone.  kinda the same thing that is going to happen with the eagles and beanie logan, they already paid cox, graham, curry and don't have enough to pay a 4th guy heading into unrestricted FA.

-Desperation, don't ask me but you wont find a mock that doesnt have him top 10

-Wouldn't surprise me either, i'm kind of expecting the eagles to sign a WR in FA making it not as big of a need.

-Giants gonna have almost 30+ mil in cap space after a few cuts this year (Cruz a whopping 7.5m in space alone) So yes I THINK they can, we'll see though.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports the Saints are discussing a trade involving Brandin Cooks with both the Titans and Eagles.

Mortensen reports the Titans are the more likely of the two to land Cooks, but both teams make sense as potential landing spots. That said, this is still a surprising report considering coach Sean Payton recently said he "absolutely" expects Cooks to return in 2017. The emergence of Michael Thomas makes Cooks more expendable than he was at this time last season, but the Saints should not let him go without getting a big haul in return.

Miami (FL) TE David Njoku measured 6-foot-4, 246 at the Combine weigh-in.
Perhaps most notably, Njoku checked in with a freakish 82 1/2-inch wingspan. Giants DE Jason Pierre-Paul's 81-inch wingspan is considered legendary, but Njoku's is longer despite being shorter and svelter than JPP. Njoku also has big, 10-inch hands. Njoku is a dynamic pass catcher and underrated blocker on college tape. He's neck and neck with O.J. Howard as this year's top tight end prospect.

I need this man on the Giants NOW

yea i saw the rumor about cooks and got excited as any upgrade at WR would be great but I am not sure what the eagles can offer.  if it is their 1st round pick I don't think I would be too happy with that as he only has 1-2 more years left on his deal and at this point I don't see him being a top 10 WR in the league.  these next few weeks is gonna be an excited time for the NFL with new rumors flying around every day!

saw that and not happy about it.  if I had to of picked 1 guy for the eagles to have signed this offseason it would have been him but I knew he wasn't going there I just hoped it wasn't to NY and of course it happens.  great pickup, eli does well with bigger WR such as plax and I think marshall is still a beast even at an older age.  at this point I can only hope he causes more drama as he seems to have done at a few other places and hopefully destroys the locker room and ruins their chemistry!

I hear eagles are linked to Kenny britt and that corner from Houston.  i guess i would be happy if either happened since either would be an upgrade but not gonna lie both worry me a little. I feel britt is a slightly better version DGB and the Houston corner worries me because he didn't do anything until last year and you never know which corners switching teams as the eagles have a bad history with nmadi and Maxwell esp with Houston usually being a top ranked D.

Looks like you have a right to be afraid

According to ESPN's Ed Werder, the Texans are "concerned" about losing free agent CB A.J. Bouye to the Eagles.

yeah 1 hit wonders at CB scare me too would not be too pleased in your shoes... especially with the limited cap space the Eagles have (Est. total of 8M total)

Idk why Kenny Stills is getting all this love, in the many years in the league he's never been more then the 1-2 deep shots a game kind of guy, kind of weird IMO

yeah we'll see.  the eagles can free up more cap space depending on what they do with connor barwin and kendricks both are rumored to get traded or cut which would free up about 10M I think.  eagles currently do not have any starting corner backs so they need to do something there and I also don't think its smart to only rely on the draft as starting 2 rookie corners vs odell/bmarsh or dez wouldn't work out well either so they have to sign someone and I would prefer it to be a young corner and not someone with a big name who is in their 30's like nmadi was but of course it is a risk.

how about all the skins drama with their GM?  it is crazy over the past 2 years my skins friends fans were finally excited that their organization had some structure with Scot M as their GM and he had some solid drafts and they seemed to be going in the right direction and now its right back to the soap opera they have always been haha.  before the combine my boys were in denial about him missing the combine calling it a "family issue" and/or twitter speculation but once the news hit that the grandma died a month ago I think everyone realized there was much more to the story.  now that hes not even being included in FA plans it's pretty clear he's gone as soon as the draft is over.  throw in the fact they don't know what to do with cousins, they are losing both starting WR's and they are replacing both coordinators I hope its back to basement for the skins next year!

redskins are such a mess haha. i love reading pauls twitter - that guy goes thru more highs and lows than all of us combined.

great pickup with machine marshall. and obvi fish you dont need to worry about bouye. but how about the thought of the pats signing gilmore then trading malcom butler for cooks straight up. prolly wont happen, just like them trading garappolo for the #1 overall but that would be an amazing offseasons for the SB champs
